  1. I have 4 Flacco's(elite white, limited purple, screen print purple, limited black), limited Black/White Lewis, limited Tucker, XLVII Pitta & a Rice(no exchange program in Canada sadly..)

I've wanted a Jimmy since he was drafted & now that he's locked up I want to order but they won't ship customized Elite jerseys to Canada anymore & im not a fan of the screenprint. Hopefully they make a limited copy of his...

  2. Personally I believe Crabtree is a fit for the system & is still young enough to reach his potential with a franchise QB.

No one can be comfortable with our current targets, the draft can't produce enough day 1 talent for this team considering the poor history of picking WR's & the immediate need from WR to TE, assuming Pitta retires :(

This whole situation every year is unfair for Flacco, never consistency at WR or coordinator, it has got to change.

  3. I believe Crabtree would have been more productive with a better qb such as flacco throwing him the ball.

Exactly, I mean you won't see a bigger Flacco supporter than me but even a guy who wants Joe out of Baltimore can clearly see that Joe > Smith/Kaep

Wonder if pride would ever come into play, Crabtree not wanting to play with the team that crushed his superbowl dreams, lining up against Jimmy in practice & having flashbacks of getting KO/the final play. Would be some trash talk there I'm sure.

But anyways we play in San Fran this yr so that might be intriguing for the guy.

  4. Granted. But, how is he as a locker room presence. Any particular reason why Torrey was signed in SF instead of resigning Crabtree? Curious to know the answers to these.

Good point, Torrey does seem like a much better presence but I do think players buy into Johns system(not all guys, but most) so that could help him.

& from watching San Fran last season they really did lack a guy to stretch the field, Torrey isn't perfect but at this point he's a better fit for the direction their offence is going in than Crabtree is.

  5. Healthy Crabtree > Torrey

Not saying that out of bitterness or spite, that's always been my honest opinion. Crab is more well rounded and much more effective underneath while still bringing some big play ability down the field. The keyword though is healthy, I'm not sure to what extent Crabtree is still being affected by the ACL. Would love to have him here if we feel good about his rehab and progress from last year.. not sure what his market value is however.

    Agree 100%

  6. The problem with Godlson is two fold imo. One, the Saints are actually trying to trade him (which won't happen). Two, he's become a huge liability in coverage I hear and playing very poorly.

As for the WRs, I don't think we make a move for one right now. We wait till the draft or maybe sign a Crabtree for a bargain one year prove it type deal. As for Reggie Wayne, he is only a possibility during TC if the receivers aren't panning out. His case is going to be similar to that of Champ Bailey last year.

You're thinking of Kenny, Goldson was released by Tampa a few days ago so they could pick up Chris Conte, not exactly a shining endorsement.

  7. "Smith has specified that he wants to go by Steve Smith, Sr. next season. He and his wife are expecting a son this summer, who Smith plans to name Steve Smith Jr. He has filed paperwork to the NFL to have his nameplate read "Smith Sr." next season."
