  1. I know the age numbers for SSS seem to imply you are probably right but boy he sure doesn't play like it. The way he played last year you'd have thought he was in the middle of his career and not near the end. Now that he's on a team whose attitude he really likes and feels like he belongs in I think mentally he could play for years. And so far his body is not showing any wear and tear. I hope we have him for years to come just because it's fun to watch how full of pepper he can get in a game. Keep going SSS. It's fun to watch you on the field on Sundays, even if we don't win every game.

Agreed, absolutely love his passion & desire to win and although age is a factor... Stats were more than ok last year

  2. It's still a stupid rule... I mean... it's your team's ball. Why can't you inflate it to your liking? To me, that's over-officiating. Who cares about how many PSI are in a football? Let the players play.

Not saying don't punish them. Just saying the rule is dumb.

And maybe players can wear whatever they prefer or better yet... Let owners spent what they feel like? Rules are rules and the psi rule ensures consistency for all teams. I see no problem with it

  3. I guess I just don't believe in turning myself in when questioned, I find it bizarre. The idea is to make them prove you guilty, while you claim your innocence. The Patriots did that, they weren't found guilty Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, yet they still got punished.

My main concern is the dangerous precedent this sets with league punishment, and how bad they've proven themselves at handling punishments already.

Perhaps you're looking at it the wrong way. They we're punished for failing to cooperate with the investigation and were punished for it. If cell phone was given & additional interviews held... Brady may had got a year suspension.

  4. I hoped for 8 Weeks… just think about his pre-SB interview with the press! He lied! He told the media he didn`t know the guy – but they had evidence that he called him and was talking to him in the QB-Room.

Well let`s see if one of the equipment guys will look for money from the media at some point, or writes a book ….maybe the whole truth comes out in the future! But maybe Kraft pays them for silence.

that ball guy should be smiling... Either get a book deal or paid off big time (I'd be expecting millions from the team & Brady if I was him) lol

  5. DeAndre Carter has the best chance because he is not only impressing our coaches, but he is very fast and could be our kick and punt returner next season. The only fill that I think we have not filled is the PR/KR spot, and Carter might be that guy.

I continue to wonder about the kr spot and have yet to hear who's looking good for that. Camp looked good as a slot wr and pr IMO

  6. its FA and some of the old timers.

guys like suggs yanda ngata doom daryl smith etc

thats why i prefer FA..you know what you are getting

Thought you'd be a fan of the raiders, eagles, or any other team loading up on free agents. How many times has primarily using fa's worked? Think I remember a year the raiders only had 1 pick after trading the others away (failed and they still can't consistently win)

  7. one difference between PED use and this is while PED use is giving an athletic advantage to one player- deflating footballs possibly benefits the entire team. But generally it is somewhat similar.

Agreed and as I mentioned before... It will be interesting to see if the pats receivers or Brady's completion %'s go down or if we see the rbs fumble more. One could speculate if the stats did drop that the deflated balls "could've" happened often or at least use a drop in stats to justify that it did clearly give them an edge... But again, it would just be an opinion and those that didn't believe would argue even if all areas saw a drop in performance

  8. You got that right- ESP after he's botched several incidents over the last few years and gets boo"d every time he makes a public appearance -you can bet he cares about public backlash. I agree that it pretty much should be in the same category as PED use- but like we were saying - you have to take into account the lying, and perhaps the fact that they are repeat offenders. I don't necessarily think bellechek should be punished- mainly bc there is nothing that directly ties him to any of this. But common sense tells me that with his great attention to detail and his extremely close relationship with Brady, that he was Atleast somewhat aware of what was going on. He seemed a lot more convincing than tom did In his press conference - so maybe he honestly didn't know- or maybe he's just a better liar. He's obviously smarter than Brady, and probably 75% of the ppl he's around. So he probably just wisely kept himself seperated from all of it. Ofcourse that's just speculation. But should he be accountable as the one who oversees the team is the question.

I'd say no he shouldn't be if nothing links him to it. Won't expect our coach to be held accountable for a player choosing to take a ped and that seems to be the best comparison

  9. Perriman tied Chris Johnson for fastest 40 time EVER. He'd abuse a rookie Ike Taylor. Not a single rookie CB would look good running next to that man. I get the feeling that Walker is gonna be a really feisty player once he sees that he can cover the D-1 guys. He has the physical attributes needed to match up. Ozzie and the coaching staff must think that he either already has a high enough football IQ to make it through camp or is smart/eager enough to soak up the classroom.

Also a big advantage to Perriman since it was non contact and he couldn't jam him at the line which I heard he does well but anyway... all good stuff
