  1. I am hoping for another Super Bowl win!!!

I am expecting at least a playoff berth for the Ravens.

I know our guys will come out to compete every week a lot is going to come down to how our younger guys progress but With the veterans and coaches we have I really dont think we have too much to worry about.

That's how I'd had said it also... Hope for superbowl and expect the playoffs. Man, it's nice to root for a team that we expect to be in the playoffs each year :-)

  2. I actually had a customer in my store one day that was very demonstrative about the fact that we had won 2 Super Bowls, and that had they not moved to Baltimore, it would have been Cleveland that would have those two trophies.

Hmmmm....  rather interesting mentality, don'tcha think???

Sounds like that fan has given up on his team actually winning one and now just wants to claim what others worked hard for lol

  3. The fact is that he was never really going to be a good NFL QB anyway.    You can almost tell.  He just didn't have the discipline, even in game situations.  It's kinda sad that the Browns just cannot see it.

Normally I'd say they should fire that scout (or damn near all of them) but with our luck, they would end up snagging one of our top guys

  4. Where do the Ravens find these gentle man giants? This guy is going to become an unstoppable beast and one of the more complete tight ends in the game! Just watch. We keep saying Maxx Williams' name, but Crocket Gillmore is the name that will resonate in the end! By the way, look at the names of these TEs we have: Crockett Gillmore, Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle and Dennis Pitta! Right out of the avengers comic books!

Gilmore has an in-game attitude, can't remember the game or player but I believe he got up in someone's face during a game last year

  5. I'm excited as well.  I think mine is due to the new pieces we added on offense and the healthy and revamped secondary. Our mash-unit secondary was the sole reason for at least 3 to 4 losses last year. Ozzie and company made fixing the secondary priority, just like he did w/ the O-line last off-season.  Anyone not excited about the 2015 Ravens potential doesn't have a pulse.

Agreed. Now just to sit back, wait for football, and pray for no major injuries

  6. Yeah Perriman came from a pro style offense, which also affects him because he doesn't get the benefit of the spread like most college WR.

Thanks for the correction (same for other member)

Lets see if I get this one right... Did he have a not so great qb throwing to him also? (my memory sucks)

  7. Actually as for the last statement that is true..but not college bum becomes a WR standout unless it was system based…usually its bad scouting or a small team.

didn't perriman come from a triple option system? Not a great place for a wr to shine, perhaps with a good system and coaching he'll develop nicely but I am a strong optimist lol

  8. Crazy how our best receivers we've had were all possession receivers (for the most part) that always fought for the ball. So hoping we finally get a go to guy that has the speed to scare others and continue to help our guys working the underneath and the run.

  9. Frankly, I am a little surprised and confused about the reaction to this article. Between a couple of pretty negative comments which have been removed and the negs given to existing comments, I truly do not understand how any efforts to make even the slightest dent in domestic violence against women or attempts to mold guys to become better men can be met with hostility from any Ravens or football fan anywhere. Even from a purely self serving and preemptive disciplinary standpoint, anything that can reduce the chances of 1 of our players from being suspended is worth the effort. From a PR standpoint, the Ravens team specifically took a brutal PR hit with the Ray Rice situation which drew monumental scorn to not just Ray but to the entire Ravens organization. But beyond these valid agendas to protect both the organization and the player from serious consequences, I do not understand how making some effort to raise the awareness and expectation to become better men could possibly warrant a Ravens fan to be hostile towards the efforts of either the Ravens or the NFL. Ok, maybe some of the efforts are politically motivated in reaction to prior backlash but so what? At worst, the message will be lost on some players regardless....but others may just hear and heed the message. Domestic violence in the NFL continues to grab headlines and divert attention away from the game and the positive things so many players and teams are involved in off the field. I have no problem whatsoever that the Ravens and/or the NFL use their tremendous exposure and influence to at least try to make some headway with domestic violence and guiding our young players to become better men, better human beings.

    well said and agreed.

  10. I dont really know how to feel abot Hill and Elam splitting time. I am all for giving Elam a shot but he is going to have to earn it. Hill should be the clear cut starter on tackling ability alone. I know Harbs will start the most deserving guys come reagular season I just dont want to see Hill getting cheated out of his snaps in the off season. We need him at tip-top playing shape both physically and mentally come the regular season and Elam should be on special teams till he shores up his tackling ability. Just my honest opinion.

Agreed but also got to look at it as "competition makes them both better".

    May the best man win

  11. I liked the offensive scheme we had last year but I didn't especially like the play calling. Hopefully this year we will have basically the same offensive scheme but more aggressive, imaginative play calling.

I remember reading somewhere that Trestman (along with our Harbs) was a few of the most aggressive coaches in the league so hoping we get just what you're asking for

  12. if camp keeps having thigh issues, i would much rather take a Carter in the slot, especially being praised by S.Smith, i just think carter will make more of a staple in our offense moving forward if he makes the team then camp will. not trying to say camp isnt good, but this is now second year with thigh injuries.

Would definitely prefer to see someone that ain't a starter field returns
