Letitgo, give me five reasons using a roster spot for Manzel would be a benefit for the organization.
Might be waiting awhile for 5 reasons
1 hour ago, eze17 said:The Flacco vs Cousins tag in this article is plain ludicrous, sorry Sarah, you can do better than that...
I don't see where it could hurt putting Lewis in at LT, because Hurst just looks plain bad out there. I was willing to give Hurst the benefit of the doubt last week, but he nearly got Flacco killed yet once again. Dude looks like he's lost all ability to play in the league, so at this point I think the Raven's need to try something different, I don't think Lewis could be that worse than Hurst in any case...
The mechanical blocking dummies the Steelers used wouldn't do much worse lol
Definitely puts things in perspective and makes you appreciate what you have. Prayers to all those affected and thanks for Doom and all his contributions
Need some sponsors to set up a "donation per sack" to help (sounds like a win win ideal)
7 minutes ago, Rav'n Maniac said:I guess Stanley is a no-go again this week after missing his 6th straight practice. Heal up Ronny.
Assuming (well, probably should say hoping) whoever gets the start at Lt holds up better against a pass rush like the skins have

Definitely saw it coming but sounds like Waller has to out perform Brown... The spot won't just be handed to him
Just now, Rav'n Maniac said:Agreed. I just hope that if it is the surgery option, they get it done now and don't wait till the end of the season. I want to see him back ready for the camps.
Don't sound like there's any reason to wait on having the surgery
To each player that hands the ref a ball... Harbs should give them one of those gold stars ![]()

-loved ethan pocic but he has been reportedly inconsistent, maybe his height is becoming a problem for him in the SEC. havent dug to find the other prospects yet.
2. WR: steve smith is a starter and gone next year, aiken is likely gone next year, mike wallace is on a short term contract, perriman is still a question mark, aside from them we have... chris moore who has dropped as many balls as hes caught
-havent taken even a quick look at the wr class yet, been paying more attention to the DL edge and DB class.
3. edge rusher: another year for suggs who appears to be a total nonfactor in the pass rush, another year for dumervil and another injury as well, and with a seeming change in philosophy and more use of a 4down front, dumervil could find himself an afterthought. ZDS has been a huge disappointment, hes made very little progress and plays way too downhill, he cant bend into the pocket at all, judon looks legit, but we'll be losing more than we gain
-tim williams looks a good bit like leonard floyd who im a big fan of, jonathan allen is a legit hybrid type player, i think hes got a good chance to end up the 2nd best defender out of this class after garrett. im keeping an eye on charles harris who needs to show consistency.
4. outside CB: jimmy appears to have taken a slight step back, understandable with the injury, but hes still beyond adequate, we are good on one side as long as hes healthy, but shareece wright is still so incredibly up and down that his play will likely be on of the main deciding factors each week.
-adoree jackson, who may be playing himself out of our range, looks like a total stud, i was stuck on tredavious white for a while but jackson has looked really good, he is an absolute freak of an athlete and has good cover skills and appears scheme diverse, also offers a lot as a returner, dude could probably play WR if asked to. im still a big tredavious white fan. desmond king to me is a versatile ball hawking safety, peppers is a tyrann mathieu type of player for me, an attacking rangey safety who moves all over the field.
5. DT/DE hybrid: im not sold on kaufusi when he returns from injury, thats one pick i wasnt a fan of at the time, i convinced myself to like the pick, but with him not playing i find myself disliking the pick again, i wouldnt be surprised if hes a regular healthy scratch come next year. we have to prepare ourselves for the possibility of jernigan leaving, i doubt we will let it happen but its possible, and i think bwill is gone next year and we have his replacement in pierce but we will need to swap the size and bulk of guys like urban and williams with explosion and pass rush and penetration.
-malik mcdowell, if we are truly using a lot more 43, then id like him in a late-pick first round scenario, hes very disruptive, athletic, long, explsive, and plays clean and refined, he is quite undersized though. jonathan allen is by far the best player in this role.
I've seen Jonathan Allen projected as early as the 7th pick and late as the 28th pick (guy had us picking him there). Still way early but I do like the kid
10 minutes ago, berad said:We could be, but they're having troubles on the interior. Uncertainty with their LG and C. So our interior - Williams, Pierce, Jernigan - might be able to exploit it. Plus, Dumervil now has a game under his belt. Uncertainties for sure, but our defense seems to live and die by the pass rush.
That was the article I was referring to earlier. My gut is saying we will do better than last week pressure wise (couldn't be worse sadly) and as you mentioned, our interior wrecks a few plays and also helps our OLBers have a better game
1 hour ago, Doomville said:Another safety named huff? Oh boy...
Lol, was thinking the same. If he's an upgrade over Lewis... It's a good move.
Saw an article rating o-lines and somehow they had the redskins listed one notch higher than the raiders o-line. I believe the raiders only allowed 2 sacks and the redskins allowed 7, so perhaps it was the hits & hurries (don't think article mentioned them)
Anyway, do you guys think we'll get some pressure on the QB this game?

Also the game that Aiken got piledrived and on the next play Crockett bulldozed the same dude into the endzone. Negated by a bs flag but was awesome nonetheless.
That was a "chippy" game to say the least. I had forgotten some of that till reading your post.
23 hours ago, JoeyFlex5 said:I guess we needed to see it to believe it. My guess is the bandwagon is derailed at this point.
I thought highly of him based off last year and expected more from him knowing this was the last year of his contract I believe.
Saw him as a mauling guard/back up center but seemed his pass protection either got worse or being next to Hurst effected it.
Either way he ain't helping my DaF team much at all right now
PS. Just saw post from Cawtious... Ty, gives me a little hope for the big guy

Butler was already brought up to the bucs active roster I believe

A bit of a surprise move, especially to all the Waller fans

That or we're sleeping thru the 1st quarter and well rested for the 3rd and 4th quarter lol
9 hours ago, Tornado700 said:Aiken is normally dependable out there as a receiver, but yesterday, all he had to do was catch that last thrown ball and catch it with both hands, bring the ball in, secure it, and we got a first down around the 35 yard line. An easy kick for Justin----- and we win our 4th game, Flacco;s pass was dead on. Instead, Aiken tried to catch it in his chest and the ball bounced off his chest, Secure the ball man. Your bad.
Looked to me that Aiken saw the hit coming (maybe wrong) but I just can't get that special teams flag out my head

I'm the wrong guy for advise. I drink, smoke, diet sucks, and I'm one of those guys that wants to gain a few pounds lol
I'm currently at 190 but wouldn't mind adding about 10 lbs of muscle. Just made a bet with my son about it as motivation

Perhaps a few hiccups so far but not nearly as worried about our special teams unit as I am about the o-line
