I'd like to see it myself but could also see him coming out on passing downs for doom. This allows our best pass rusher to stay fresh, a very good edge setter to do there thing, and potentially limits the offers from other teams (if upshaw doesn't get the sacks)

Haven't been following this lately and really not trying to go through all those pages lol Really hope Goodell denies the appeal if he don't offer the text messages (like others have said, what's he hiding). Remember reading somewhere that if his appeal is denied that he'll take it to court... Hope he does and they subpoena his text

Many screamed for a wr in the first (finally got that) and without trying to get too hyped up... If a couple of our young guys live up to their potential we will have a great wr group to develop with Flacco for the next few years to go with potentially a great run game. Just gotta keep that line stout

Exactly what I was thinking Don't forget Orr (I believe that's his name who is also impressing people at camp) Biggest area of need IMO would be KR. We have been a little spoiled having JJ take care of that for the past couple years and seems that nobody has claimed that role as of yet which is a concern

Injuries are a part of the game, it's how you handle them that proves what kind of player you are. I think Webb will have an outstanding year along with the rest of the secondary. This may be a very special year for the Ravens and their fans. Turnovers (especially interceptions) is something this team hasn't truly benefited from since Reed. Being top 5 is a bit aggressive but important goals should be.

Agree with ya and don't think we have that much to worry about Carter going to PS. He has potential but with no NFL experience... Will a team take the udfa and put him on there active roster? My guess is no I think camp goes to pup, butler gets slot but that still leaves returner position open and unless Webb fair catches everything... Still kind of worried but that is pretty much only position I am concerned about which is great at this time of year.

IMO, depends on what upshaw expects/wants versus the "reasonable offer" the ravens are likely to offer him. I don't think we keep both guards unfortunately

Seriously? He was mainly used as a blocker last year & did well. Hasn't been hurt, does his job, and will only get better... I don't see a jah reid in Gilmore sorry

I agree with ya, if he was still struggling and he had to come in... I'd imagine we would see a lot of running plays, screens, and intermediate passes since it sounds like his passes ain't got the zip on it. But I feel ok with him backing up flacco
