West biggest problem is picking up the right blocking assignments as a RB. If he gets that Down and become a every down back, I see him climbing over buck for that #2 and eventually taking over.
I don't see how they keep 4 rbs and 4 TEs though. How do we justify that?
In both videos shown of tonight's practice, KC was getting owned by Wagner. That spin move was not working at all.
What about speedy noil in the 2nd? We're going to need a WR when sss leaves. Perriman can't be trusted at this point.
Would anyone pick tajae sharpe over Chris Moore? Or is that all Titans hype
I'm curious to see how the running back battle plays out. Forsett had that great 1st year. Buck Allen did work as a rookie for us. Kenneth Dixon was some analysts 2nd rated rb coming out of this draft. My dark horse is Terrance west. Reports is that he came into camp in great shape. I remember how a lot of us was bummed when Browns stole him before we could draft him. Man one of these guys won't make it. Gonna be crazy
I hope we find some way to keep Darren Waller. He was a special team ace and has so much potential as a offensive weapon. I just can't see him making it tho with this loaded TE group.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought Kyle Arrington was going to go back to playing the nickel, where he made his money. Leslie didn't even mention him though. I guess powers higher up on the depth.
I hope this isn't like last year where they save a spot on him on the 53 and we let someone valuable go or place early on IR (mike camp) only to find out he ain't returning anytime soon.
Wish we would've drafted Tyler Boyd even more now ?
Just watched some YouTube clips of Bronson. He just looks so slow to me.
Ozzie 1st rd WR curse continues...

2014: Brent Urban, Lorenzo Taliaferro (4th); John Urschel (5th); Keith Wenning (6th); Campanaro (7th) - all made the team in some capacity (I think Wenning went to PS) but even if you dont count that, all but 1 made the team and are STILL on it.
2013: John Simon, Kyle Juszczyk (4th); Rick Wagner (5th); KLM, Ryan Jensen (6th); Aaron Mellette, Marc Anthony (7th) - All made the team, went on IR or PS and were brought back the following offseason. Most are still on the roster and battling for a starting spot or play a prominant role for another team.
If our draft picks, even after the 3rd round, dont make the team THAT would be the anomaly. They're definitely expected to make the team, some make an impact right away, and definitely be making an impact by next year. There's only like 3-4 picks after the 3rd round from the last 3 years that aren't still on the team.
Man, urschel in the 5th. Wagner 5th. Jensen 6th. And they all could be starters. Now Alex Lewis in the 4th. Ozzie with these late round gems, and critical position at that!
Wagner would be priced higher if he moves to guard and excels. Check mark for versatility.
Other note, isnt run blocking the weakness of Stanley, with pass blocking his strong suit. RT suppose to be the better run blocking tackle. Having Monroe and Stanley manning both tackle spots scares me for our running game.

Where would you put Wagner then?
46 minutes ago, OldToby said:We don't talk about Jensen enough, PFF had him rated as the best offensive player in week 16 with a 7.4.(The second highest lineman had 5.2). PFF had this to say,
"Jensen has gone from a liability to a stud by posting two stunning efforts in the past couple of weeks, with his showing against the Steelers truly remarkable."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Jensen a FA coming into this new season? Did we resign him? Or does he have 1 more year left
Gotta give Terrance brooks a shot!

Lane Johnson becomes an athletic and dominant presence. Jj watt would not be the best player without work ethic. Leaner means faster. And it is exciting to anticipate his as well as Henry's potential. For Jernigan, being a little pudgy is the only thing standing in the way of elite explosion and athleticism for the position. As for will Henry the only player in the draft with more impressive combo of explosion, athleticism and power than him at his position is Nkemdiche who is roided up. Think if Henry was doing the same thing!! Rankins is more refined and active than Henry but Henry has better raw tools. A couple lineman did consistently overwhelm Rankins in a man up confrontation. No opponent consistently overwhelmed Henry. And he just recently found and started his fanatical work ethic. With time of working hard and learning from players like Jernigan and Ben Watson to refine his training, nutrition techniques he could become next to unblockable. Jernigan and Henry have awesome raw skills.
The way you talk about Henry gets me excited, but then I gotta pump the breaks cause he was a 4th rd pick and our 4th pick in the 4th at that. But let's hope lol
I would of prefer someone like sua cravens as a inside / cover linebacker in today's NFL. But I guess if you're going for versatility, KC offers more. We'll see

I think ur talking about Ohio state Eli Apple. Giants drafted him.
Every year I tell myself "don't research players cause you'll fall in love but will only get your heart broken when Ozzie doesn't select your guys." But every year I fail to listen. With that said, come on JuJu Smith WR USC or Eddie Jackson S Alabama!
Hope he fixed his fumbling problem
I'm having a hard time finding this info, anyone know / read how much his bench press was?
I just don't see us keeping 4 rbs unless one can help in the return game. Forsett gets 1 more year, I think Buck and Dixon are safe. But I'm really rooting for west, then there's Trent who was a #3 overall selection. Gon be a tough battle during camp for sure!
I wouldn't be mad at all if Monroe starts week one at LT. Remember he is a solid LT, just can't stay healthy. We can ease Stanley in.? Just hope people don't start flaming him with "he can't even beat out Monroe for the starting LT spot."

Sucks he'll be missing a year. Isn't he 25 years old? Old rookie..
