Those are the only draft picks (rounds 1-3) that pan out in the last 4 years 2013: Elam, Arthur brown, b will2014: cj, Timmy jern, Terrence brooks 2015 (the bust class): perriman, maxx Williams, Carl Davis 2016: Stanley, kamalei, Bronson k lets say we take out the 16 class for the sake of argument.. b will, Mosley, and Timmy jern ar our only starters selected in the first 3 rounds in 3 years. That's a 33% hit ratio. Can we agree Ozzie and Co is losing touch?

Finally using a first round pick on a WR, you would think the ability to catch would be at the top of the list. Let's call it like it is. Ozzie and the front office panicked on draft day and reached for perriman. they wanted Marcus peters (projected to go mid 20's) but Chiefs surprised everyone by selecting him 18 overall. Then we wanted Shane Ray, but Broncos traded up with the lions to take him 3 spots ahead of us.

Drafting a WR who got stone hands... What's the #1 trait to look for in a WR? A natural pass catcher. Great 1st round pick for sure. Perriman, Elam, Arthur brown, kamalei, Terrence brooks, maxx Williams, Carl Davis... the first 3 rounds is where you find the superstars, we're only good at drafting middle round starters. And you wonder why we have so many holes we need to fill.

we need everything. Which is sad. Sure Ozzie finds late gems, but those aren't superstars. Ozzie and co been failing in finding early round talents. Perriman, kamalei, Terrence brooks, Elam, Arthur brown. Rounds 1-3 is where you find the playmakers and that's where we've been failing.
