  1. 49ers are in a big rebuilding mode.  Main trade block is as follows:

    Ahmad Brooks LB

    Antoine Bethea SS

    Erik Pears RT

    Glenn Dorsey DT

    Bruce Miller FB

    Nick Bellore LB

    Jerome Simpson WR

Both Colin Kaepernick and Joe Staley could be available at the right price. Looking for solid Oregon players (Eagles.. Call me in regards to Kiko). Don't even ask me for Hyde or Bowman, though.

  2. Noah Spence goes late 1st/early 2nd unless he gets into some kind of trouble or something is discovered about him currently not known.

I can also see Chris Jones sliding into the late 2nd round if he test well. I like what I've seen from him.

I'm not as high on Spriggs as most, but he is a solid player who I wouldn't be pissed about.

Mackensie Alexander is a stud, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! I still think the coaching staff would rather have their own version of Eric Berry roaming at FS in Jalen Ramsey. I like the idea of a corner early, just not sure the coaching staff would pull the trigger.

  3. I kind of stopped sifting through the pages of comments so, someone could've already mentioned this but Alabama runs a 3-4 much like the Ravens currently do. Their JACK (stand up defensive end) is used in a very similar way that Suggs is used as our 3-4 "Rush" linebacker. They are defined as a 3-4 OLB but really, their hand is in the dirt and coming off the edge so much that really, they are a 4-3 end.

There is no way Suggs could play WLB in a 4-3. Your ideal weakside linebacker in a 4-3 is a Lavonte David (6-1 234) or Sean Lee (6-2 235). Suggs would do fine as a 4-3 defensive end because it would basically be the same thing he is doing now. Dumervil did just fine when the Broncos switched to a 4-3 if I'm not mistaken (although, he has aged and probably would do better in a more limited role).

LE: Brent Urban (early downs - kick inside on passing downs), Terrell Suggs

DT: Carl Davis (early downs), Timmy Jernigan (passing downs)

NT: Brandon Williams (early downs), Brent Urban (passing downs)

RE: ZaDarius Smith, Elvis Dumervil (pass rush specialist)

    SLB: Daryl Smith

    MLB: CJ Mosley, Zach Orr

    WLB: Arthur Brown

This is how our current personnel would fit but I definitely see both OLB spots being potential weaknesses. I do feel like Brown could play better as a true 4-3 WLB but, I wouldn't bank on that and Smith use to be a really underrated SLB in Jacksonville's 4-3 but he is a lot older and I'm not sure how he would hold up. One guy who would help tremendously? Jaylon Smith. Myles Jack would too, but I'm not sure he would be a target in the top 10. Jaylon Smith could fall to our 2nd round pick with his injury. Here are a couple free agents that would fit at WLB for us:

    Zach Brown, Titans

    Demario Davis, Jets

    Vincent Rey, Bengals

    Strong-Side OLB candidates:

    Bruce Irvin, Seahawks

  4. I'll tell you what.. my trades and free agency overall was pretty bad. I had a few solid additions but overall, whew.

    Trades:

    Montee Ball RB - Garbage

    Da'Rick Rogers WR - Garbage

    Peter Konz C - Garbage

    Cyrus Kouandjio OT - Garbage

    Ron Powell LB - Garbage

    Matt Elam - Garbage  :(

    Matt Kalil OT - Decent

    Julius Peppers DE - Decent

    Morris Claiborne CB - Decent

    Preston Brown LB - Good

    Vontaze Burfict LB - Good

    Free Agency:

    Jake Locker QB - Garbage

Terrelle Pryor QB - Switched to WR, remains to be seen but since I signed him as a QB - Garbage

    Hakeem Nicks WR - Garbage

    LaMarr Woodley DE - Garbage

    James Carpenter OG - Decent

    B.J. Raji NT - Decent

The only decent thing I did was the draft..

    Draft:

    Kevin Johnson CB - Stud

    Jake Fisher OT - Solid

Mario Edwards Jr. DE - Stud

    Tyler Locket WR - Stud

    Cody Prewitt SS - Garbage

Personal Grades for Each Position for My Team:

QB: A- (only because of Cam, group as a whole is bad)

RB: B- (Stewart saves this group)

WR: B (Nicks is a decent WR3 but not very good. Benjamin/Lockett combination is solid)

TE: B+ (Olsen saved this group)

OL: A- (Solid pieces across the board. Kalil, Norwell, Kalil, Turner, Fisher with Carpenter and Kouandjio isn't terrible)

DL: B (Short and Lotulelei help save this group but the addition of Peppers and development of Ealy isn't all that bad)

LB: A+ (Kuechly, Burfict, and Preston Brown as starters with Maualuga and Klein as depth is really good)

CB: A (Norman is becoming elite, Johnson will be really good, Benwikere is solid as well - Claiborne as depth)

S: D (What in the heck was I thinking)

I'm lucky my team already had a lot of pieces.

  5. @fusuymada I have to be honest.. I agree with what you said. I keep hearing he isn't getting it done in practice. I have to trust that, I suppose but I would rather see it with my own eyes. Get him more reps and see how he responds. If he continues to be the bust they say he is.. We will see that and move on. I was so high on him coming out of Kansas State. Just tough for me to swallow just how poor people say he is.
