Noooo--I really wanted to Titans...back to the drawing board. I am really excited for them this year with the Whiz

My bad.. my top 3 choices were:

1) Titans

2) Jaguars

3) Jets

I actually love the Whiz hire for them moving forward. I'm from Alabama and live an hour from Nashville so I know the team pretty well.

Also, please don't talk about players on the block and such until all of the teams are take.  It is unfair to those without a team.

Well you have tons of cap space and few bad contracts. I'll gladly take Leon Hall on a small prove it deal though.

Depends on what your definition of small is.. might not be as small of a price as you think. Haha

I think the roster lock needs to be now before teams start purging players and it changes.

Agreed. People are already getting cut.. could someone lock up the cap space and stuff for the teams? Would suck to pick a team and them release a guy that you had plans for or what not.

Nice pick, JO.. Jets, Bengals, and another team were my top 3. Jets have a great combination of picks, cap space, and some guys that you can cut/trade to rack up even more cap space. Nicely done.

When can we start the selections of teams? I'm even more nervous now! Haha picking at 18.. I know I'll have some decent selections up for grabs but there are a select few I REALLY want. I won't get two of my top teams, but maybe a couple will fall.

Only team I don't think would be fun to take over is the freaking cowboys lol

I got 29... Exactly why I didn't want Random Order. I could've gotten a somewhat decent team with the original method but whatever.

Yeah, agreed but still.. this is equal for everyone. I'm sorry, man. I'm at 18 which is much better but still not where I wanted to be. I probably won't get my team(s) but I understand it was the only completely fair way to do it.

Completely understandable, would it be at all possible to go ahead and post the list so people can be thinking about where they ended up, and then if CoCo says "no go" on the idea, then we can just go back to the way everyone has been approaching in the past? Going ahead and putting the list up won't hurt as long as everyone understands while the list is up.. it's not a guarantee it will be used.

There is 32 people in this, which means everyone has a voice and can help even if they aren't an coco. Also I used to be a mod so I should have some say in this. Also if he had let me post my list, then everyone would already know the order. What a coco he is.

I actually agree with most of what you are saying.. but why do you keep bringing up you "use to be a mod"? Is that suppose to make a difference because you use to have power? Just curious.. elaborate so I know if I should agree or not.

Only people that should get upset over a number generator are the ones that have a huge advantage when it comes to internet speed. I have amazing internet, but I understand that's not exactly fair.. it's a risk and I get some people may not get their teams as a result, but it should be the way to do it.

I just think any time you do  midday on a weekend, you eliminate a lot of people.  I know I spend pretty much all weekend doing the stuff I wish I could do during the week, and I'm sure a lot of other people are the same.

 

That's primarily why I proposed the random order.  We're never going to get 32 people at the same time, so why not give everyone an equal shot?  That's just my opinion.

I don't see a problem with that at all. You are right, time zones and "busy" are no longer problems when doing random generator. It's FAIR for absolutely everyone.

That was my idea yea. It's the most fair and efficient way to do it IMO.

I completely agree.. having a number generator is random, but so is having your fingers crossed and wondering where you fall as far as teams go based off of internet speed and timing. That seems like a safe, understandable option.

That's what I was thinking. That would make things easier, nobody would have to PM me with numbers. If everyone is alright with that, I can get it over with now and post the order we pick teams.

So, based off of what # person I was that signed up (say, if I was the 8th person to sign up), then my number is 8 to go into the random number generator to determine draft order? Just double checking before I agree.. if so, I'm down.

Since we are full let's get the ball rolling tonight. We don't have to pick teams but let's at least figure out how we are going to pick and if we do go the route of a randomly ordered "team draft", let's assign those spots and start picking.

I'd say no trading assets for teams as it would give an unfair advantage to certain players for simply winning a random drawing.

Agree with this but I like the idea of drafting teams based off of 1-32 picks. Make that random so it's fair, but then people get the team they want based off of where their pick is. Makes sense.

Yeah, I have a team I've been watching closely that I really want. Perfect scenario for how I like running my teams.

We should stick to our 7PM start time for everything like we had last year. Gives people time to think about who they want.

Is that 7 pm ET?
