  1. This comment is very warranted but I'm still holding out hope. Haha
  2. After working on getting Cam some protection, I needed to continue to add weapons for him. I like Tyler Lockett a lot in the slot and I think he could be a solid compliment for Kelvin Benjamin. Having Benjamin, Hakeem Nicks, and Lockett as my starters and then having young guys who can develop in Da'Rick Rogers, Stephen Hill, and Brenton Bersin.. I am really starting to like this group.
  3. I agree with this.
  4. I like the pick. I wanted him bad but Fisher's value to too solid at my pick and Funchess is too similar to Kelvin Benjamin. Nice pick.
  5. I love him too. I think your offensive line with LT: Greg Robinson, LG: Rodger Saffold, OC: Eric Wood, RG: Laken Tomlinson, and RT: Doug Free is VERY solid! Eli Manning is kind of up and down but with that OL and all of those weapons on offense, he would do well.
  6. Thanks man. I appreciate it.
  7. LT: Matt Kalil, Jake Fisher LG: Andrew Norwell, James Carpenter OC: Ryan Kalil, Peter Konz (+) RG: Trai Turner, Cyrus Kouandjio RT: Jake Fisher/Cyrus Kouandjio I feel like Cam is somewhere showing huge sighs of relief. If Matt Kalil can return to form and not get him killed that is.
  8. I couldn't pass up Fisher.. I had a couple of other guys in mind but I absolutely love Fisher and his grit. I love his versatility and feel like he could be an impact player at multiple positions. Having him, Matt Kalil, and Cyrus Kouandjio all battling it out for the two tackle spots should really help improve Cam's protection.
  9. Will be just a second guys. Several guys here I wasn't expecting.
  10. When is my time frame? Been checking to see when pick 59 will happen but want to make sure I don't miss it.
  11. He does better keeping things in front of him. Not as good turning his hips and running.
  12. Would've loved to have gotten Buckner. Huge fan.
  13. Thanks man! I was nervous he was going to get taken after I traded down again from 29. Glad he was still there.
  14. I like Kevin Johnson a lot even though some aren't as high on him. A future cornerback group of Josh Norman, Bene Benwikere, Kevin Johnson, and Morris Claiborne (once healthy) should make for a solid group.
  15. I'm not saying it's impossible to make the transition. Look at Doug Free. He was a LT for awhile and then switched to RT and was effective there. Like I said, you need to kind of be balanced with both. Fluker is still having trouble on the edges with speed rushers and that's why there is the rumor going around he may be switched to guard. Tackles need to be balanced to a degree but there are definitely guys that are better suited for LT or better suited for RT. Does that mean they can't play the other spot? No, not necessarily but it does mean you may (may being keyword there) have them playing out of position. Do I think Humphries would be an atrocious RT for the Cowboys? No... I dont. Do I think he will be a much bigger liability in the run game at RT than he would at LT? At this point in his career, yes.
  16. I'm not saying they are COMPLETELY different but yes, they are different. There is a reason Fluker isn't interchangeable from RT to LT and Matt Kalil isn't interchangeable from LT to RT. The two positions require somewhat different of a skill set. Both need to be at least solid (not a liability) in both areas but Fluker starts at RT because he is a mauler with slow feet while Kalil starts at LT because he is SUPPOSE to be better in pass protection while not being physically imposing as a run blocker. If they aren't that much different, why doesn't someone go ahead and sign Bryan Bulaga and slide him to LT. Might take a little adjustment with the footwork, like you said, but if the positions aren't that different then shoot, why not? He was a solid LT. With your logic, with time he should become a solid LT once he gets his kick-drag adjusted to the opposite foot.
  17. Well, it's like Matt Kalil with me. Certain guys just aren't build or have the skill set for RT. People think it's a simple transition but it's not. Bryant McKinnie never played RT even as he got up in age because of his skill set.
  18. I'm curious as to why the Cowboys drafted Humphries over La'El. I love Humphries, but he is strictly a LT IMO and they wouldn't want to move Tyron Smith (arguably the best LT in the NFL) to RT. La'El would've been a perfect RT for them. Maybe I'm wrong.. Just my opinion. No matter what, can't be worse than picking a player already picked.
  19. On it. Sorry again guys.
  20. Been my number 1 guy for that spot this whole time and it wasn't even close. This is a perfect example of why you don't sit and wait on a guy. Well done, sir.
  21. Dang it. Yes, that is embarrassing. That's what I get for not paying attention to the last several picks and trying to get on here and rush it. Give me a second, guys. I apologize. Great pick, Jacksonville.
  22. This x1000. I get frustrated when I'm on the other side of it too and having to wait but I have to remind myself that I get busy sometimes as well. Sorry for the wait guys. I'll be around to check for pick 29.
  23. I thought Trent Cole went during this past EDGE FA period? I know I was bidding on him and lost. Was he already cut again?
  24. DW was at the top of my list as far as interior linemen are concerned. He was a great add for you man!
  25. Oh yeah, to think I thought I might get him at 4 stars. Who was I kidding? Well done, man.
