  1. We don't need a "turnovers coach." We need to get to the QB fast with a 4 and 5 man rush, and corners that know how to look back and catch the football when it is in the air.
  2. The QB streak should tell you that Goodell and the zebras still have their favorites. All the talk about parity in the NFL, yet it continues to be Steelers, Broncos, Pats, Colts from the AFC. Makes me sick.
  3. Ogbah gets no love because he played at a smaller school in the Big 12, but I promise you he will be a versatile 10+ sack player with the size and power to defend the edge. Buckner also fits the bill. Pass Rushers I wanted us to target in the past before the majority were projected to go in the 1st Round: JJ Watt, Justin Houston, Ryan Kerrigan, Shane Ray, JPP. Freak Athleticism + Motor = can't miss. Find us our next Suggs Ozzie.
  4. Elliot is rated the between 10th-15th best prospect on most sites. There is a reason why he is called "Zeek Tha Freak". He will be gone quick and Dallas is know for doing crazy things when it comes to the draft and free agency because Jerry Jones. You still never answered who you think we are going to draft?
  5. Marriota got knocked out of a few games this year, and they could always move Lewan to RT where he might be better suited in the NFL. Tunsil has future HOF type ability. He was the JO of college football last year. I have heard from a bunch of Titans fans that think they pass on Bosa because they have also invested in a lot of D-Linemen early in the draft, but Bosa also makes sense. Ezikel is probably a reach, but look at the Cowboys and tell me what they need most. They already have Brandon Carr (FA Signing 2012), Morris Claiborne (1st Round 2012) UFA, and Byron Jones (1st Round 2015). I could see them taking a corner, but I went with their biggest need if they since they are too stubborn to take a QB. I could also see them taking Treadwell, BPA, or trading back. The Purpose of my post was to hear opinions on who we take at No. 6...
  6. 1. Titans: Laremy Tunsil 2. Browns: Jared Goff 3. Chargers: Joey Bosa 4. Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliot 5. Jags: Jalen Ramsey 6. Ravens: ?
  7. Man, I really wish Ed got to work with our guys in Baltimore, but his relationship with Rex is probably closer than it is with Harbaugh. And there also could have been an awkward coaching situation since Reed played with Webby and Smith.
  8. Clearly you are not a fan of Ogbah. Who are you taking at 6? 1. Titans: Laremy Tunsil 2. Browns: Jared Goff 3. Chargers: Joey Bosa 4. Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliot 5. Jags: Jalen Ramsey 6. Ravens: ?
  9. Mosley is an attacking, run stuffing, physical ILB. He is a sure tackler around the line of scrimmage, but he does not do well when asked to tackle or cover in space. Ozzie an Co spoke about the lack of a pass rush exposing our linebackers in coverage this year and I agree that the lack of rush has something to do with it, but he should't be asked to cover TE's and RB's as often as he was in 2015. His lanky build limits his lateral quickness and shifty guys tend to win the battle against him in coverage. I think he is a gifted pass rusher on the inside and should be used more as a blitzer or in stunts as a play-wrecker the way Bart Scott was when was in Baltimore. That is how he earned the nickname "Mad Backer". And we could address Daryl Smith's long term replacement through the draft with a guy that has more speed, range, and the hips to be more effective in coverage.
  10. Multiple QB pressures against the No.1 overall pick. You are foolish if you think that is the reason why Ogbah isn't worth it at 6. That would be like saying Jimmy Smith is garbage because he gave up too many yards to Julio Jones. Give me a break.
  11. Kamar will be back! He is our possession WR of the future and proof that hard work pays off. I don't care where he is listed on the depth chart, he needs to be on the field because he works his tail off to get open and he catches the football when he's targeted. 75 rec, 944 yds with 4 different QB's facing top corners for the majority of the season is impressive. We just need Perriman to come in and be our burner.
  12. Cause we couldn't add talent at key positions. AKA we let McPhee and Torrey walk, yet we couldn't bring in guys to replace them in free agency either.
  13. Dominated? He was still effective and getting pressure even though he didn't get a sack. PS: Tunsil is the best tackle prospect since Ogden, and he will be gone 1 or 2. And if you just have Suggs, a Tackle w/help can quiet them down. We need two guys that force double teams on the edge.
  14. So why did his contract take 3 years to kick in, and sacrifice cap space? Which put us in a bad spot for 2016, 2017, 2018. We were 5-11 last year looking to add playmakers and we are completely hindered by backloaded contracts of Jimmy, Webb, Flacco, Monroe, and Pitta. I don't understand why we continue to make deals like this. Look how injuries, and declining performance has backfired on these deals. Pay a flat base and stay disciplined financially. We could actually add some high impact Free Agents for a change when there are bargains, or retain more of our own. Our records since his contract: 8-8, 10-6, 5-11. One Playoff in appearance three years and now his cap number is doubling. If his salary had a flat base, we would already have a deal done with KO. Instead we are assuming that he is already gone.
  15. He is a freak. 6-4 275, long arms, motor, and he got to the QB in every game. He would be very similar to Suggs in terms of size and athleticism. I would call him a hybrid DE/OLB for a 3/4. He will not be dropping in coverage very often because he does his damage in the backfield. 11 Sacks as a Sophomore, 13 as a Junior.
  16. Emmanuel Ogbah please and thank you Ozzie. The REAL question we all should be asking is: Why is Flacco's cap number so high???
  17. Cundiff's kick was to go to the SB. Walsh was to make it out of the divisional round. No comparison whatsoever. No way the Vikes got past Carolina or AZ. The football gods must be happy SSR is coming back for an encore. His trash talk is just as good as his game. That note about the Steelers WR's is impressive, but also a smart strategy. Speed Kills, draft WR's later in the draft who you can develop, but make sure they can fly, catch, and have great work ethic.
  18. Packers Skins last night was tough to watch. I saw two teams in the first half that didn't have a clue how to play playoff football. The pass happy up tempo game might bring a spark from time to time, but if it fails, it leaves your defense on the field for more snaps. Every time you stop the clock on offense, you create an opportunity for the opponent run another play or 2 and score: aka more reps for the defense. In the second half, I saw Green Bay wisely switch up the game plan and incorporate the run more and control the clock as well. The Redskins continued their Pass Happy attack and had a couple quick possessions that burned no clock. All of the sudden they were getting manhandled by Green Bay's O-Line because they were gassed out. Look at the Chiefs. Great defense, but not that much offensive talent or a great QB yet they continue to win. Andy Reid knows the recipe to stay on schedule on offense and win football games. Your Defense might set the tone for the game, but the offense controls the gameflow. That is why I have my doubts about Trestman regardless of how many yards Clausen, Schaub, and Mallet threw for. Running clock also protects your QB. Ironically we lost our guy this year too. Unless we are playing catch up, I say consume as much clock as possible and protect your defense.
  19. Only if we could get out of Monroe's contract and just sign KO. He could play LT next year and we could focus on Defense in the 1st Round. Too bad we overpaid for a Jacksonville Jag when we thought we were getting a bargain LT. Classic too good to be true lesson.
  20. Should have been two penalties on Joey Porter (Steelers Coach). 1 for entering the field of play. 1 for grabbing and shoving players. Zebras want to change their stripes to Yellow and Black.
  21. Joey Porter on the field with his headset shoving players. But Pacman gets flagged for trying to get their attention and they hand the Sqeelers a victory with 0 timeouts and 18 seconds left. Sorry fellas, but your hate for Pittsburgh should be much stronger than Cinci based on how consistently biased officiating is to their benefit. They know if the Squeelers advance prices for TV adds go up. Even the announcers couldn't stop trashing the Bengals. Terrible product NFL.
  22. So it took two personal fouls with 18 secs and 0 time outs to get the sqeelers into the next round. $ talks
  23. I hate the skins Rave-O . They are an enemy to me living in Northern Virginia and hearing their fans predict super bowls every year.
  24. After watching how lopsided this game was officiated towards the Steelers benefit, It is a beautiful thing watching this game fall apart for Pittsburgh.
