  1. Davis was openly upset when he fell to the 3rd Round. He felt he was good enough to be a 1st Round pick. That kind of confidence along with feeling like he has something to prove could help him become a great player in this league.
  2. From an Annandale to a West Springfield Alum. Congrats Bryn!
  3. Schaub definitely missed Maxx for that TD. Instead of trusting that he would snatch it over the LB he threw it way outside of both of them where no one could make that play. It wasn't a drop, it was a miss. Crockett and Maxx will move the chains and work the RedZone this year.
  4. That opening drive was ultra conservative to protect Flacco from hits. One thing that I like is how much we are going to use our big Tight Ends. Our O-Line is dominant, We are deep at every skill position on offense, and we have a winner at QB. This offense should hurt teams once we get Perriman backing up those safeties. I love the way Camp played last night as well. I would let him do kicks and punts since we have so many WR's who will be in a rotation. My one fear is that our pass rush will miss McPhee. Suggs and Doom will get after it, but we need an interior guy to step up and get pressure. IMO Timmy Jerrnigan is that guy. We are looking pretty solid at CB and Saftey right now. Arrington looked good, and Pointer was better than I expected. Stewart who started all last year is now providing depth, and Terrance Brooks should be coming back soon too.
  5. It's the preseason fellas. Let's not be so dramatic. It sucks for the guys that are fighting to move up the depth chart, but it is a long season and these games are meaningless. Btw we typically put more of a hurting on each other in training camp, and then we put a hurting on opponents during the season.
  6. You watch how hard he works in practice, and how he never backs down. He is a pitbull of a football player and deserves to walk out on top with the Lombardi as much as anyone in this league. I think this will make him even better because he knows he has to leave everything on the field this year.
  7. The video about Aiken is just more proof that Harbaugh is running this operation the right way. Aiken said that the Ravens were the first team that really allowed him to improve and be more than just a body for practice. I think Aiken is in line to become a long term starter for this team when Sr retires, but I expect a solid year regardless.
  8. There is no way Urschel can comfortably sit in that thing. The back of the seat is too small for my back and I'm a normal sized guy. I bet it looks like he's driving a clown car on the road, but he probably just gets a huge kick out of it.
  9. The text from Randy Brown just proves more cheating by the Pats. Gostkowski was booming them through the end zone and Tucker couldn't even get the ball there. So now we go after the those who call the cheaters out?
  10. The media is still shaming rice and acting like he isn't good enough to play in the league. He is only 28 and spent all last year training. Teams won't sign him because they don't want the media storm coming their way.
  11. This WR Core is so Deep. Injuries will only allow other guys to shine. Flacco and Trestman are just cheesing for the regular season to start. The Jernigan news doesn't shock me one bit. I thought during the Haloti Ngata suspension, Timmy brought more to the table for us because of his ability to penetrate the backfield and get after QB's. We were racking up sacks during that time as a team and allowing less yards per carry. I can't wait to see a full year from him. He has that fast twitch ability that you can't find in guys over 300lbs. Not saying that he is Warren Sapp, but his style of play is similar.
  12. Injuries suck but at the end of the day, you can't be great if you are on the sideline. I'm hoping Jimmy can come back strong this year and earn the recognition of being a shutdown guy. We all know he has the potential. PS: I want to get a new jersey this year and I'm looking for a younger but proven guy who will be with this team for a long time. Any suggestions?
  13. So there are people in the Baltimore media that rated Flacco the 6th best player on our team? I think we need to stop reading the papers folks...
  14. We have a stable of WR's and Joe pulling the trigger. They all should be on the field at some point. I can't wait to see us light up Denver and make Kubiak regret what he left.
  15. Billacheat. If I were the NFL, I would say enough with this nonsense. Take away every draft pick in 2016 and see what they try to get away with after that. There is no room in sports for cheating. Fan's invest too much of their time, money, and emotions into the game to be conned. Players earn a living off of the success of their team, its how they take care of their families, and they have a very limited time to play. Drop the hammer not the toothpick.
  16. To all of those defending Flacco you don't need to. He is going to shut everyone up himself this year. The lowly media writes many articles to draw attention to themselves or their stories. Without any shock factor, no one would care what they have to say. I easily see us competing for the Lombardi in January and February. Hopefully Billacheat and Luck can't stop us. You already know Carroll will blow a big game to get cute. PS: Draft Flacco in Fantasy
  17. This is actually one of our biggest question Marks IMO. We need one of these young guys to step up. It might be Camp's only chance at making the roster. I wonder how Aiken would fare. I think he is just a flat out baller.
  18. There is a Ray Lewis coaching tree for defensive coordinators. Just wait and watch for the Joe Flacco coaching tree to develop. These guys are foolish to devalue Flacco's success in the league. What more could you ask for in terms of consistency in the Regular Season than making the playoffs 6 out of 7 years??? Then you talk about how he steps it up in the Playoffs and you are looking at a guy who gives you a legitimate shot to win a SB every year. He is a Top 10 Regular Season QB and a Top 3 Postseason QB.
  19. Shortly thereafter, NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue infamously stated, in response to a question, that "perhaps Baltimore should take the money it had slated for football and build a museum." That's a messed up thing to say to a city. Good thing Art saw the potential.
  20. I just don't see how you keep Aiken and Perriman off the field. And they say Jeremy Butler is killing it in the slot. Flacco will thrive with this WR Core. Although I do see Smith getting less snaps in the RedZone in favor of the bigger WRs.
  21. Joe is about to light it up. Stay a few years and win some SBs Marc. Your life will be much more enjoyable.
  22. Flacco has been with a play or two away from attending 4 SB's if you want to talk technicality. We have lost to the teams that have made it to the SB. Some who have won, and some who we would have matched up better with than the AFC representative.
  23. Mark my words. Flacco is about to light it up. We will finish Top 5 Yards and Top 5 Points.
  24. Boyle is making the team just for his blocking ability. He can develop into a WR later, but he is considered a 3rd Tackle. Massive with great feet. He will help the run game a lot.
