I know none of us like the Patriots, but if you honestly don't think this deflate gate thing is stupid then come on bruh. The Pats still punished the Colts in that game. If it was a close game then yeah I could see why it would be a big deal, but the Pats completely out played them, and I think people forget that. The Pats vs Ravens was the REAL AFC Championship game. Sleazy as they may be, Belichick and Brady are great. We hate them because they win, and because the way they win isn't "honorable." Yeah I understand it was cheating, and they should be punished in someway, but anything more than a fine would be an overreaction. Do we really want Brady suspended? Thats like suspending Michael Jordan for posterizing you with a slightly deflated basketball. Plus, the Pats play the Steelers in week one. Do we really want the Steelers to get a Bradyless Pats team? Just fine the Pats and Brady, and let us all get over this blown out of proportion "scandal."
I agree 100%. People need to think this through due to the fact that it would be a much better outcome if the Steelers lose that first game vs winning. I hate the Patriots but I hate the Steelers way more, oh yeah and they're in our division. ![]()
Take the fandom out of things and I say Robert Kraft is the one who owes an apology. Not just to Goodell but to everyone. #cheeta
I was just messing with you.
I commented somewhere i was glad Ozzie finally cared about the offense. Other than that, i didnt have much to say either, im happy with it.
I think Carl Davis was the best pick of the litter, im glad we were able to take some receivers and still give the defense a boost like that in the 3rd round. I think he'll make it easier to not miss Ngata.
I figured as much.
I hear ya on the offense. I'm cautiously optimistic with regards to Perriman. Williams I think will be solid but I just hope he got that whole hurdling thing out of his system. If he tries that act in the NFL he won't last long. And yes, Davis was a great pick up. Can't wait to see how things unfold.
P.S. Thanks for the heads up on the calendar deal. Going to try it now.
you guys take all this far too personally lol
you missed the lol at the end... thought that would help aid in the sarcasm that was intended.... I guess in your case it didn't work lol <----- you'll never guess what that is.... you crack me up
... besides all that... what did you think of the draft overall ? I haven't been on here much lately due to the whole work thing and haven't had time to read most comments.
Show off! Now tell us who we are picking next!
lol That's awesome.
Me too (but not about Mosley) . I freaked out, I focused the drops. There is just something unsettling about the Ravens taking offense in the first. Read that scouting report on Andre Johnson that BmoreB posted, eerie how similar they are, that changed my whole perspective.
For those that didn't see it, pretty good stuff... check it out.

Here was my post a few days ago in response to Mink/Downing's mock drafts and the negs I got for it.
[News] Ravens 7-Round 2015 Mock Draft

To those that negged that post, now what ? Don't ever question me. lol
Go Ravens !!!!
Well, we don't really know that, because he hasn't taken a snap for us yet.
If he gets beat out by Gino for the job in training camp, then apparently it doesn't go far enough.
I know enough to put money on it. Let me know if you're interested in losing some cash, I'll be glad to take it from you.
You are aware that the difference between Zuttah and Gradkowski is 1 inch and 8 pounds correct?
Yes and apparently 1 inch and 8 pounds goes a long way.
Gradkowski is being replaced because he's too small and not very good, fact.
Last time we brought a Steeler DB into the fold, things worked out quite well. May not be a bad move...... #rememberwoodson
Why would we want Clark? Don't we have standards? Isn't he the big mouth jerk who said we would never win a super bowl with Joe Flacco? WE don't need him.
It was Woodley, that would be the big mouth jerk you're referring to.
@Reed20Fence Pryor from Louville is a Strong Safety, drew lots of comparisons to Bob Sanders and how he played. When we draft our FS in the first round, look to Ha'Sean Clinton Dix to be called.
Only problem is, Ha Ha Clinton Dix is not being drafted by the Ravens. Offense will be the theme for the 1st and most likely the 2nd rounds of the draft. Ozzie will surely modify his mantra of " best player available" to best "offensive" player available for the upcoming draft. With the money invested at QB, it's time to get that investment to start paying dividends with a little more emphasis on the offensive side of things. Bank on it.
Ok, so with signing Steve Smith the Anquan Boldin rhetoric continues. This actually amazes me and tells me that it's not going to go away until Boldin retires. It's really unfortunate that you all can't let it go as you will not fully appreciate the Ravens as a whole. My suggestion, let it freaking go or download the song "I left my heart in San Fransisco" and listen to that while watching the 49'ers with your #81 SF jersey on. Good luck.
Going out to get my purple goggles ! .... Ozzie is the freaking man !!..... Go Ravens !!!
Lamarr Woodley has signed with the Raiders. In his introductory presser he claimed that the Broncos won't win a Super Bowl in his lifetime, because they would have to go through the Raiders for that.
Are you serious ? lol ... If that's true, he certainly has his career after football headed in the right direction, as a freaking comedian.
I'm now starting to think this is a 50/50 shot at signing Smith today. His agent has floated out the notion that visits with other teams will be scheduled today. Maybe that's just strategy but Ozzie will not get muscled into a high stakes game of poker. It's going to be here's our offer but once you leave, the offer's off the table...... Can't wait to see how this plays out.
Am I the only one that finds it amusing that he references Ellerbe, Redding and Johnson as three play we let go in their "prime", yet in the few seasons since they've been gone, they haven't performed nearly at the level they did when they were with us?
I mean did you actually look and see what guys like Ellerbe, Kruger and JJ have done since they left this team?
I mean lets look at the "facts" shall we...
JJ: apparently let go in his "prime", where he had at least 50 tackles for us from 07 through 2011, yet in two years for SD, he's had 40 or less and recently agreed to take a paycut. Sounds like we let him go at his peak to me, not prime.
Ellerbe: after a grand total of one quality season in Baltimore, he had virtually the same amount of tackles with less sacks in Miami, while making nearly $7m a season. And the Dolphins feel so great about his skills that they are moving him from MLB to weakside LB, which is essentially a nice way of saying "you're not good enough to lead the LB core". Sounds more like peak than prime to me.
Kruger: After 14 sacks in two seasons as a viable player on this team, he took $8m to go get 4.5 sacks as the top pass rusher on a bad team. Sounds more like peak than prime to me.
I'm not even sure why Cory Redding's name is on this list, because he wasn't very good for us and he hasn't been very good ever since. The guy is two years from retirement. If he's your argument, you've got to try harder.
There's people that talk about facts and there's people that provide them...
You're way off base with the Corey Redding assessment, Dude was an absolute stud for us and still is. Did I say stud, I meant DUD ! Just playing, you're right, carry on. ![]()
Ozzie: "Hello?".....Ravens Secretary: " Hi Mr. Newsome. What time would you like me to schedule the Steve Smith conference for ?"...... Ozzie: "1:00 tomorrow and put the announcement out today around 3:00" .... Ravens Secretary: " Will do Mr. Newsome. You're the man by the way".... Ozzie: "I know, but it never gets old hearing that."
James Jones or Emmanuel sanders?
I'll take Sanders. It's a case of addition by addition and subtraction.
Love this move ! I was prepared to see him go but man am I happy he's staying.................#4moreyearsoftheheadband
Great news. I'm happy he and the Ravens worked it out. Now.....on to Daryl Smith.
Hey NCMan... Is Hell about to freeze over ? You never post anything positive. ![]()
unless ebron, a wr or d-lineman we really want falls to us i see us trading back and getting extra picks
I respectfully disagree as I think the mindset would/should be that we're not going to be drafting this high again for at least the next 4-5 years, let's take the best player now. There's going to be really good talent there at 17. I'm thinking WR (too many to list) or as you pointed out Ebron.
Pitta and Daniels ? I'll take it !!!
