There we go trying to change the system... IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT
Try to expand your thought process as the Ravens expand their playbook. You'll be a lot happier. ![]()
This is depressing, I just realized (as I obviously never gave this a thought) I'm old enough to be Joe's dad. Ugh !
@Steve Smith ... My advice, play out the contract and leave nothing on the table, leave it all on the field. We are built to win this year and next no doubt about it and everybody knows it, including you. #2more2go #bloodnguts
Miss football much??
lol too funny
Except that if you count the jokers, you have 54.
Can't count the jokers though... Just ask google.... I'll count those as the 2 SB's though ![]()
I wonder if Ray Lewis picked the number 52 as his jersey number from the amount of cards in a deck ? Anybody ?
275 ? That's Gronk like. Get this guy the ball and let him now guys down. I know its early and this TE crew is young but man, sure sounds like the best TE group in the NFL.
The great thing is that the best of Joe is yet to come. He's entering the prime of his career. The next 4-5 years are going to be a lot fun especially with the young talent around him. Can't wait !
%u201CListen, everybody likes the football their way. That%u2019s why I make sure our guys rub the balls down in a certain way %u2013 have them rub a couple balls down and make sure I like it %u2013 and once they have the ball the way I like it, I trust them to do that from that point forward.%u201D... The immature side of me thinks this is hilarious... so done with deflategate.
What makes you say that?
Pitta went down, had surgery, went down again with no contact and had another surgery. A third injury and surgery may cause enough damage that the once great athlete wouldnt even be able to run around with his kids. He has enough guaranteed money in his contract this year that cutting him wouldn't make sence except for a roster spot. I believe he is only at OTA's to keep his contract valid.
Like most fans I love watching Pitta play so I am for it if he does but what reasoning makes you think he will?
He has no legal obligation to be at OTA's. He's there because he wants to play this year. This is what he does and I believe he has a strong desire to play and play soon. His injury is a freak injury and yes it happened twice but the likelihood of this same injury occurring again is quite slim.
Lets be Real.... Do we REALLY think that Pitta will suit up again?????
I do and as a matter of fact I think he'll be starting, day 1.
Adam Schefter on Kraft: "Because he is a league man... he will go along with the punishment 'reluctantly.'"... No, not because he is a league man it's because he knows Brady & Company are guilty as charged. #cheetas
I don't know if you are just expressing your opinion as fact or what, but how do you know it played a part in trading him and when did the rock solid evidence come out that he was taking Adderall? Can you provide your source?
How do I know it played a part ? It's called logic.... And it doesn't get more rock solid as far as evidence than it coming straight from the horse's mouth. Just google Ngata admits Adderall use.
Let's get something straight. The Ravens DID NOT let Ngata go because of last year's suspension. To even suggest that is ridiculous. He was gone strictly and ONLY because of the contract.
Wrong. It did play a part in the decision making process as this can be directly linked to his descending status. He was taking Adderall to enhance his performance. If you believe Ngata's line about using the stuff so he could focus in on his kids during Thanksgiving, well, there's this bridge in Brooklyn.... ![]()
"We got this"... said the Ravens Front 7
The Max Williams thing is definitely entertaining, for now. Leaping like that won't "fly" in the NFL. Hope he's got that out of his system, we don't need another injured TE on the sidelines.
And the irony of it (hopefully) is our weakness of last year could be our greatest strength this year. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Only 118 days to go ! ![]()
Pitta will be starting Week 1.
I said in another comment section but it bears repeating, I am amazed at how New England fans view the Ravens as a major rival. As a Baltimore fan there is the natural, division driven rivalries we experience here, mostly with the Steelers but the Bengals as well and then the Browns fans hate us because we were them and now we are us. I do concur that I dislike the Patriots but for a team we may not even play every year (like this year) I couldn't really consider them a rival. But if you look at it from the Patriots perspective, who else but the Ravens drive them crazy because they know at any time we can beat them. I don't think the Patriots fear any other team in the league but us. We have been a thorn in their side and as much as Brady likes to play down the Ravens, you at least know the fans won't deflate the importance of the rivalry and then lie about it. Oops, did I really say that. Hahahaha
That last line was so corny, but I like it. lol
Joe was so excited he had them supersize his happy meal.
Now that's pretty funny lol
Suggs and DePriest have absolutely nothing in common. There is a reason suggs was a Top 10 pick and DePriest was undrafted.
They were both labeled as being too slow at their respective positions. So yeah, they do have something in common.
DePriest won't make it, he's too slow overall.
same thing was said about a guy named Suggs and look how that turned out ![]()
@ Steve Bisciotti ... Please erect statue on Ostend St side of stadium when possible.
Sincerely,
All fans that enter on the Ostend St side of stadium.
#Reeeeeeeeeed !
I remember his first INT at the stadium like it was yesterday. Picks it off deep on our side of the field, is running all the way back and starts celebrating about 15 yards before entering the end zone. So of course it plays out just like it did for Leon Lett and took the crowd from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in just a few seconds time. My buddy sitting next to me was outraged while I sat there with a smile on my face. I turned to him and said, "Chill man, this dude is a playmaker !" I'm no Nostradamus and am not claiming to be anything of the sort because truthfully, if you were in that stadium witnessing this first hand, you just knew. You felt it ! And I still feel it today ! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

The missed INT in New Orleans was simply him being a rookie. He was in position which was huge and a lot more than you can ever say about Elam.
