I agree 100%. People need to think this through due to the fact that it would be a much better outcome if the Steelers lose that first game vs winning. I hate the Patriots but I hate the Steelers way more, oh yeah and they're in our division.
I figured as much. I hear ya on the offense. I'm cautiously optimistic with regards to Perriman. Williams I think will be solid but I just hope he got that whole hurdling thing out of his system. If he tries that act in the NFL he won't last long. And yes, Davis was a great pick up. Can't wait to see how things unfold. P.S. Thanks for the heads up on the calendar deal. Going to try it now.
you missed the lol at the end... thought that would help aid in the sarcasm that was intended.... I guess in your case it didn't work lol <----- you'll never guess what that is.... you crack me up ... besides all that... what did you think of the draft overall ? I haven't been on here much lately due to the whole work thing and haven't had time to read most comments.
Here was my post a few days ago in response to Mink/Downing's mock drafts and the negs I got for it. [News] Ravens 7-Round 2015 Mock Draft Posted by BmoreB on 29 April 2015 - 01:31 PM The only pick between the two they got right was Diggs in the 4th. Perriman will be the No.26 pick in the draft -7 To those that negged that post, now what ? Don't ever question me. lol Go Ravens !!!!
Only problem is, Ha Ha Clinton Dix is not being drafted by the Ravens. Offense will be the theme for the 1st and most likely the 2nd rounds of the draft. Ozzie will surely modify his mantra of " best player available" to best "offensive" player available for the upcoming draft. With the money invested at QB, it's time to get that investment to start paying dividends with a little more emphasis on the offensive side of things. Bank on it.
Ok, so with signing Steve Smith the Anquan Boldin rhetoric continues. This actually amazes me and tells me that it's not going to go away until Boldin retires. It's really unfortunate that you all can't let it go as you will not fully appreciate the Ravens as a whole. My suggestion, let it freaking go or download the song "I left my heart in San Fransisco" and listen to that while watching the 49'ers with your #81 SF jersey on. Good luck.
I'm now starting to think this is a 50/50 shot at signing Smith today. His agent has floated out the notion that visits with other teams will be scheduled today. Maybe that's just strategy but Ozzie will not get muscled into a high stakes game of poker. It's going to be here's our offer but once you leave, the offer's off the table...... Can't wait to see how this plays out.
You're way off base with the Corey Redding assessment, Dude was an absolute stud for us and still is. Did I say stud, I meant DUD ! Just playing, you're right, carry on.
Ozzie: "Hello?".....Ravens Secretary: " Hi Mr. Newsome. What time would you like me to schedule the Steve Smith conference for ?"...... Ozzie: "1:00 tomorrow and put the announcement out today around 3:00" .... Ravens Secretary: " Will do Mr. Newsome. You're the man by the way".... Ozzie: "I know, but it never gets old hearing that."
I respectfully disagree as I think the mindset would/should be that we're not going to be drafting this high again for at least the next 4-5 years, let's take the best player now. There's going to be really good talent there at 17. I'm thinking WR (too many to list) or as you pointed out Ebron.
