  1. Undertaker's retirement needs to involve Kane in some way. Preferably they finally reconcile - lords knows we don't need another match between them. As it stands, the final chapter in the Undertaker/Kane story involved Nexus randomly helping Kane bury The Undertaker. That is just terrible considering how central to the WWE the Brothers of Destruction have been.
  2. Stone Cold wasn't all beer-drinking, gosh, don't draw me into an argument now.
  3. Alicia Fox is probably the worst of the divas. They should have Kharma wrestle girls like Gail Kim, Natalya, and Beth Phoenix, though that's probably what they're building up to. As for Jericho, I don't know who he's trying to kid. His gimmick from day one has been as an Egomaniac. Just come back already.
  4. Nerd rage aside that was a great Smackdown and an excellent world title match. I don't think we've seen the last of Christian was a world title contender, or champion for that matter.
  5. He's been commentating on Superstars since November of 2009. Superstars is pretty good actually, the matches usually go for over 10 minutes and feature guys you don't normally see, and sometimes they really go all out to show what they have in their short window of opportunity.
  6. It's not unfortunate at all, generally on Smackdown matches are given more time. Sin Cara is an in-ring entertainer, he's not going to be cutting promos or anything. Smackdown is a great place for him to be.
  7. Super Cena on Raw, Super Orton on Smackdown....hmm, think Ill go with the Woo Woo Woo kid on Superstars.
  8. Well it's no big deal I'm sure with all the IWC rage going on I would have found out by the end of the night anyway. Sounds idiotic and desperate. Save us Jericho.
  9. So I guess we aren't using spoiler tags...
  10. A lot of wrestling moves can cause serious injury if botched. I don't see how Kharma's is more dangerous than a piledriver for instance.
  11. I think they overdid it a bit, but eh whatever The Rock has always been over the top it's kind of his thing. Don't know who half those celebrities were and didn't care about any of them. Completely fast forwarded through "Pitbull" who I've never seen or heard of before tonight, but the first 10 seconds sounded awful enough I didn't hesitate to skip ahead. I was really disappointed Morrison's match didn't go through but from a storyline perspective it was fine doing a beatdown and further pushing R-Truth as a heel. Mason Ryan got a MEGA push tonight. Not only did he main event but he took down Kane AND Big Show, AND walked away from Nexus. They are really serious about him. I question his entertainment skills but I loved what he showed tonight in the ring and intensity wise. Kharma was just awesome. Kelly Kelly looked horrified, Maryse screaming during the Implant Buster was PERFECT. I'm actually looking forward to diva segments now, as long as Kharma is involved. Really hope she doesn't end up a comedy act. I REALLY hope Cena isn't going to actually hold the title until Mania 28. Edit: Btw Franny 3:16 all the way, sorry.
  12. Sad how 3 of the 5 men involved in the Hart Foundation storyline were dead within 5 years. It was a great angle and the way they switched Raw back and forth between the USA and Canada every week, which determined who was a face and who was a heel, was simply genius. This was before the Attitude Era was in full swing with DX, and IMO was not topped by any storyline during the Attitude Era or any time after. A prime example of how an angle doesn't have to be TV-MA to be damn entertaining.
  13. With the disproportionate face-to-heel ratio on Raw, this feud might culminate in a Swagger face turn. It seemed headed that way during the build-up to Extreme Rules, but then Michael Cole Alex Riley'd Swagger and it was forgotten about. I just want to see it ended no matter what happens now though.
  14. Hey, he went like 5 months. Pretty damn good for the reality show kid that nobody pegged as a champion. Hell of a reign Miz, hope we re-enter the era of Awesome soon enough.
  15. What a great PPV though. Build-up was weak but without the fluff of Mania it was a great card. Orton/Punk was good, Rhodes/Mysterio was good, Christian/ADR was phenomenal, the cage match was great. Morrison really carried the cage match IMO, when he was out of it it kind of lulled. The SSP off the top of the cage was fantastic, as were his other "spots". Cena being champ again. Well, it was bound to happen. Hope Miz doesn't flush back down to the midcard.
  16. Incredible match, incredible moment.
  17. So far 2-0 on my predictions, Orton won, Sheamus dropped the title to Kofi in an unannounced match. Looks like the draft changed nothing title-wise, which I'm fine with.
  18. Yeah I don't see Morrison winning, I think he'll come close to escaping the cage but R-Truth will stop him and Miz will escape in the confusion. My picks to win tonight are: Miz, Christian, Orton, Mysterio, and Cole/Swagger. It's not time for Miz to drop the title yet. It IS time for Christian to win a world title, and Raw having both titles would be silly, as would be the rumored scenario of ADR winning and Orton somehow taking the title from him and back to Smackdown. Orton will go over Punk because he is Randy Orton and also will need the momentum as he goes on to be Smackdown's #1 face. Rhodes won at Mania, only fair for Mysterio to win here. Could see Rhodes getting the win to solidify himself as a top heel on Smackdown though. Cole wins so the feud can continue in all it's terribleness. Either Sheamus or Barrett will drop their belt tonight or within the week, most likely to Kofi Kingston, who is going to Raw. I'm going to say Sheamus, as I think he's going to come in and be a top heel on Smackdown, while Barrett is still involved in this Corre splitting up angle.
  19. Smackdown could really use Jericho more than Raw could at the moment.
  20. Nope.
  21. Well, quite a night. A few of the picks made sense, a few made no sense. 1. Orton going to SD is good, they need a top face, though I believe Christian is going to be WHC after ER. 2. Del Rio going to Raw makes sense but...now who are Smackdown's top heels? Turning Kane back heel would be silly the man JUST turned face and just won the tag titles with... 3. Big Show. Kane needs to get drafted tomorrow. Simple as that. 4. Sin Cara going to SD makes sense. SD isn't live so they can edit out his botches. Plus, Raw just got... 5. Rey Mysterio on Raw. Looking forward to it. He can feud with Miz or rekindle his feud with CM Punk. 6. Mark Henry going to SD made sense if he was going to be a face as SD's midcard needs faces but then random heel turn? Really hope they don't plan on him being a main event heel. That would be a disaster. Aside from all that, great R-Truth promo, liking him as a heel. Morrison got quite a pop as well as a "Morrison" chant and a "Let him go" chant when the refs were holding him back. Good stuff. Announcer match went on way too long, was horrible, and made no sense for them to give away Cole getting whipped on free TV. The ending to Raw was just silly. Random Henry heel turn, Miz wins the match (which was Awesome), but then apparently Cena getting drafted to Raw transforms him into the incredible Hulk and he Super Cenas through all of Raw's top heels, and laughs as he does his finisher on Miz. What happened to that Skull Crushing Finale? Oh right, this is Cena, the Man of Steel. Oh well, at least Christian is guaranteed to win the title on Sunday. EDIT: Haha wait a minute I just realized...Mark Henry saved Evan Bourne during the Battle Royal to start the show and was being buddy buddy...then he randomly turns heel at the end of the show on Cena? Random indeed. Writers can't even remember what happened less than 2 hours ago.
  22. Your loss. Smackdown is the better show. Seems theres a lot more actual wrestling going on Smackdown than Raw.
  23. I feel like WWE is missing the point with why Night of Champions saw a 35% decrease in PPV buys. It has nothing to do with the name of the PPV, they just need to put out better cards and have better build-up. Naming it Vengeance or Uprising isn't going to suddenly make people want to buy the PPV.
  24. Man, Extreme Rules is in a week and there has been such little build-up. The match types were decided seemingly at random and revealed in a low-key fashion. Can't imagine why anyone would buy it, the card is just a rehash of Wrestlemania. It's not like it's going to be "Extreme" anyway. Then again, if Christian and John Morrison emerge our world champions I am going to mark like I've never marked before.
  25. Yeah I always find it funny when people think that wrestling is some magic show where nobody is actually being hurt. The "trick" is that both wrestlers have to work together to perform their moves, not that the laws of gravity cease to function.
