Can we keep all 8? To bad we usually only keep 6. We can only hope, they can make the practice roster and not be swept up by another team.
Let's have him earn one
Overall, I think this team as a whole, is better than the 2000 team. Offensively the best I've seen. Defensively, with a younger and faster D-line, it could be incredible!
I LOVE HIM!
yo people are coming at me about MY opinion .. i never said hed be a epic fail i said he isnt long term player here is my point
We all agree he's not going to be here for 10 yrs, take it down my friend. I would love to see us draft Wr B. Cooks he's little too and fearless over the middle. What a mentor Smith would be for him.
Jerry Rice retired at 42; Barry Sanders retired at 30. What's your point?
It all depends on the shape you are in. Steve smith appears to be in great shape. 31: Welker& Roddy White'''lol I'll take them over a 24 yr old.
@ravensnj We drafted B williams last year. He has a lot of potential. I think signing Wilfork would be great for ngata. He could play limited snaps at D end during running downs with Wilfork at N tackle. That would keep him fresh for playing passing downs. I think this would make our pass rush almost unstoppable with suggs and dumerville at olb and canty and Deanglo Tyson or Lewis-Moore or Williams or whoever else we decide to replace Art with. Then a fresh and rested Ngata at N tackle. This is just my opinion though. I love debating football with others though, so please let me know your opinions.
You know, I forgot about Williams. He's the guy that can walk on his hands! We also, had a QB that could throw the ball threw the goal posts from one knee at 65 yds. Hopefully , Williams will pan out, I saw very little of him last year.
I love the guy's story though, as he worked hard for everything in his life. Now, he needs to push himself, as the training wheels are off and it's time to become a true Raven.
@ravensnj, I think it would be better if he didn't play 3 downs. He was never a pass rusher. Im not 100% sure but I think he always had a great work ethic. If not, i don't see BB keeping him on the pats for 10 seasons. I don't think the comparison to Haynesworth is not accurate. I think he would instantly upgrade our run d. I have no idea what kind of money he is asking for, but I think he would be a great addition to our d line.
Without a doubt! He might even push Ngata to play at a high level again.
He's 32. Not too old, but coming off an Achilles tendon tear. He's going to command a decent salary from someone ... but this is not an area of true need for us. ... particularly if Ngata could be the dominating player he is being paid to be.
The money he would get is earmarked for other needs.
I agree. We need to look into a young NT in the draft.
It would be awesome if we picked up Wilfork (for the right price of course). One of my favorite non ravens (along with Steve Smith) in the league. One of the few Patriots that I like.
I concur, but.....how old is he? Does he still play 3 downs and does he give it his all? He was once the best NT in the league, but, so was albert Haynesworth.
Gotta like any move that makes our pathetic offense better1
Get ur goggles on!
Love Steve smith
No Sanders ... Pick up lance Moore and draft a wr.
Missed again, just Googled him, he's the new TE coach for the Titans.
Is Mike Mularkey out there? He's a great O Cord, but, failed as Head Coach
Didn't Redskins Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan bail out on his Head Coach last year? His father!!!!.......Really? What kind of allegiance will he bring here? Later Dude! We need coaches who act and carry themselves like Ravens.
