  1. How about UFA's: Dont'a Hightower, Malcolm Smith, Zach Brown, Keenan Robinson or Kevin Minter? Smith might be to costly, though.
  2. The 2017 NFL Draft! Since, we did so well in last years draft , especially, last year's fourth round (We really did our homework there). I'm looking how we can one-up that performance. Hopefully, we look scrupulosity at the top 100 players expected in this year's draft. Hitting on the top picks could put us back on top. Our scouting mindset should be : We need to pick pro bowlers, every single round. I'm excited for building the best offensive line in the NFL. I can't wait to see how Oz and company fulfills this statement. I'm also excited to see that they fully realize we need help with the following positions: receiver, defensive backfield, and pass rushing. All positions fans have scrutinized over the last few years.
  3. Weddle couldn't stop A. Brown or C. Wentz from making game winning touchdowns against us. We might still be playing if he decided to make some tackles. He also displayed hands like Perriman on a few balls that hit him right in the chest, I don't know who complies these fraudulent defensive numbers, but Weddle along with Webb, aren't that good.
  4. I think Cyprien is a really good safety, young and makes plays. He's durable and quick, something we currently lack. Cyprien along with Haden will really change the dynamic of our secondary for the positive for years to come.
  5. Free up the $ to pay a pro bowl caliber player. A true #1 cb. Also , this year is a great year to pick up safety help. Webb is to fragile, really not a great player anymore. Weddle missed to many game saving plays, to old.
  6. Browns could possible cut Joe Haden. What a free agent pick up that would be! I would get rid of Webb, Weddle, and Watson to acquire him.
  7. Besides, upgrading the Center position, I believe the running game will be fine. We just needed OC commitment. Towards the end of the year, West and Dixon were complimentary toward what I believe was a very formidable ground game whether rushing or receiving from the backfield. However, if we need that explosive piece, we can opt for my favorite player in the upcoming draft, Christian McCaffrey. Hopefully, he slides to us in the 2nd round, as I have us going corner or receiver in the first. He can also jump outside or in the slot, at the drop of the hat.
  8. Too many glaring holes to add a Qb in the draft, we must look through free agency.
  9. Enough with the Bush, Woods, Britt and even the old man Jackson adds. Let's be serious! None of these guys would be solid contributors, someone to move forward with. We need to get younger and not look every single year for a new Wr tandem.....geezzzzz!
  10. I never liked Britt, he didn't appeal to me at Rutgers and doesn't appeal to me now. Wallace is ok, but if you have hit him when he's wide open or in stride, because he will never win a contested ball. It's time for Perriman to supplant Wallace and we should add a chain mover like Kendall Wright. He would be asset in our offense, and we can add another Wr in the draft.
  11. just a thought here, if Harbaugh wants to add a play-maker at running back why don't we make a play for Leveon Bell. Now I realize we won't have a shot at signing him but anything can happen for the right price. Hate the idea, however, I wouldn't mind driving up his asking price to have the Steelers pay more. Also, we have two real good backs. They just need better coordination. Hopefully, newly hired Roman, will enact that! Now let's talk receivers
  12. So, Ozzie is looking for a complimentary receiver? Well, two that come to mind, are free agents receivers: Terrelle Pryor and Kendall Wright. I would also like to take a flyer on Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson gushes with talent, but needs stability. Wright and Pryor are in their prime.
  13. This is a win- win 4 us!
  14. Yeah, I really didn't think he should be used in blocking, it's a lot of pressure on the hip. He might have slacked off a little, as any stress on the hip could have sent him back to the IR, career ending or permanent life damaging. I believe one good off season of healing and strengthening should do wonders. I am in favor of keeping Pitta.
  15. They were meant to be separate.: Jug machine to help his hands/ Learn to fight for the ball for toughness to prevent Int's and playmaking ability.
  16. Urschel gets overpowered by NT's , so he's only a bandage when it comes to him holding down the Center position. However, the strength and condition coach was just fired, so the jury may be out.... just kidding. On a serious note, we need to look into the draft to sure up this spot.
  17. Zuttah. Arrington and Lewis can be dismissed. Doom needs to be asked to restructure his deal. He has plenty left in his tank, and we don't need another failure draft pick.
  18. In order to be a number 1 receiver Perriman needs to get on the jug machine and learn how to fight for the ball. He needs to mentally understand that the ball in the air is his, and not let anyone else have it. The coaches are doing him and the fan base a disservice, if this is not part of his regiment for success.
  19. Corey Davis the wide receiver out of Western Michigan could help Joe. Check out his career stats: 300 catches, 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns.
  20. Sounds like a plan. With Doom and suring up some spots on the roster we have a chance of going places. With a rookie pass rusher, accruing rookie mistakes and the learning curve, we spiral downward and might end up 8-8 again and no playoffs for another year.
  21. IMHO, getting rid of Doom is equivalent to getting rid of Boldin.
  22. None of these guys attempt to fight for a contested ball, leaving it uncontested for the cb.
  23. I can't believe he made it through waivers all the way to the Pats! These GM's in the NFL should be ashamed of themselves. He must have extra baggage that we have not heard about. But there is one thing is for certain......he surely solidifies the Patriots as Super Bowl favorites. YUK!!!!
  24. I really think Kendall Wright can help this team. This guy is becoming a free agent and has a knack for getting open, even though he doesn't have top end speed. He will be cost friendly and can actually catch the ball.
  25. Your first sentence has been the Ravens downfall. We draft these guys that had shown well in college, but don't pan out for one reason or another in the NFL. Ozzie will continue to stick by his picks for years, most of the time until their rookie contract has expired, before finally casting them off. Guys like Elam, Arthur Brown, Sergio Kindle, Tandon Doss, Ed Dickson, Terrence Cody, David Reed, Jah Reid, Asa Jackson, Demetrius Williams...yada. yada,yada... We need to act quicker in identifying nonworking pieces and move on swiftly to get replacements. BTW, I believe Boyle is more of our future than Williams.
