  1. His career consisted of 3 years with a total of 8 picks, with 1 returned for a td. Freshman year 2, Sophomore 4, Junior 2. I guess that's pretty decent, considering Patrick Peterson had 7, Marcus Peters 11, and Darrelle Revis 8 with only 3 years of college. I might take him with the second round pick, but, I'm sure not risking an early first rounder on him, as he also has notable weight and strength issues be considered a true, early first round, shut down Cb. I'm picky with my evaluations on skilled position players, and seeing him bobble balls took him off my first round list.
  2. Zay Jones is an exceptional Wr.
  3. First: Christian Mccaffrey Second: Obi Melifonwu Third: Chris Godwin
  4. Watching the combine, he dropped and look hesitant catching balls.. Maybe, the pressure got to him?
  5. I usually tend to agree with you on your posts, but, Jones has me skeptical. I didn't like his hands, appears shaky at times. No question he has the speed and other intangibles.
  6. Melifonwu would be a great addition to our secondary.
  7. I really like the 2 UConn players, Obi Melifonwu S and Noel Thomas Wr, I hope our scouts are looking at them.
  8. I would like to add Kendall Wright. Low cost, longevity, proven possession receiver that can get open. We need players that can keep us from consistently going 3 and out, allowing us to score on any drive. TY Tucker!
  9. Lol Same line every year! Comp pick coming up!
  10. No tags, sensible contracts, or build through the draft and June 1st cuts.
  11. Out with the old, in with the new. No more castoffs! It's time we get serious about our wide receivers. Heck, only the Patriots are worse at drafting wr's than us, although NE Malcolm Mitchell might have put them above us. It's time Oz steps away from his mentor's Belichick's evaluation charts on selecting wr's and hire someone outside of the Ravens box.
  12. I really don't know that we have an identity on offense. Every week we tend to go in a different direction. I do know we have a quarterback that likes to throw the deep ball, but neither Wallace or Smith man up to fight for it. I say we quit with the FA market guys and finally draft a wr at 16, so we can finally put our wr quandary to rest.
  13. Ravens want young infusion of talent at safety???? Really??? Well, they need to fire some of their talent advisors, because they have repeatedly failed. The topic should read....."Ravens clean cuberts and hire new football draft and free agent advisors, whom put them over the top!"
  14. Yep, win the field battle. The more maulers who force their will on the opposition, the better.
  15. McCaffery is an incredible player. Comparing him to lesser players is just unjust. As Emeril Lagasse says "Let's take it up a notch!" That's exactly what Christian will do, upon entry to the NFL. You see a guy of his caliber come into the league, once every ten years.
  16. Yes, the complimentary would be the latter guy. My question: Who is our number 1 guy? Don't even say Wallace or Perriman.
  17. Joe, can't manage a game by himself. see the last 3 years.
  18. Pick up Kendall Wright in free agency, draft Corey Davis in the first, Christian McCaffrey in the 2nd (might have to move up 5 or 6 picks) and the Ravens will have a prolific offense for the next 5-10 years. Add your defensive backs, o-lineman, lb's with the remainder of the picks. Simple
  19. Williams hasn't shown much at all. Injuries have derailed his first 2 seasons. He's real young (22) which is a plus. But, I just don't see him as a top tier TE. I assume blocking will be his forte
  20. Upon further review, Robinson had recent drug and gun charges. Both counts were dropped, however, questions lie.
  21. Best available could be an offensive tackle: Ramczyk- Wisconsin or Robinson- Alabama That's intriguing. Having Bookends would be sweet
  22. Unfortunately, I can't see us drafting a Wr in the early rounds. So, I'm looking at the later rounds where we can land someone like Amba Etta-Tawo from Syracuse. Guys with hands and can fight for the ball.
  23. Green Bay really develops o line players. They are a plug and play line. Picking up a FA from there, would be a good thing.
  24. I would love to have Corey Davis, but, I feel we are going corner in the first. So, I like Chris Godwin out of Penn State as a complementary receiver, strong possession type guy. Now with Orr retiring, we might be pressed to go defense with the first 3 pics and Godwin could be there in the 4th or 5th. Solid, great hands, but unspectacular in the speed department.
  25. The funny thing about the 2011 draft, we actually had the 26th pick. We froze, the clock ran out, and we were passed by KC. We luckily selected Jimmy at 27. We can't make that mistake again, especially at 16.
