  1. My question: When is the last time we hired a coach that was not fired from his last job?
  2. I see Tucker, but, Marquette King (Raiders) has the upperhand this season,
  3. Not if they do the biggest change.... fix their drafting issues.I would hire additional college scouts that were not regionalize to one area. I would give them free range of the Country. They would have one single purpose, to strictly evaluate one position only! The Receivers, Cornerbacks, and OLB's positions our biggest needs. They would be added to the already in place scouting team, however, they would oversee their assigned position. Maybe then, we might see a better crop of skill position players. Note: Justification for a wr- player must have a specific quota of catches over 3 years.
  4. Everyone knew he was going to be overpowered today, except for maybe, the Ravens coaching staff. Luckily, Wilkerson was inactive or it would have been worse. I thought we would have seen some rollouts, Just sayin'.
  5. Asa Jackson re signs with Ravens. Where are we going with this?
  6. Jeremy Butler was acquired by the Jets! I am sooooooo glad Fitz is playing so awful, that Jeremy won't have a decent game against us.
  7. It's sad that we have to talk about lost gambles three weeks in a row. Don't take Harbs to Las Vegas, unless you can wash dishes.
  8. When you have the opportunity to draft that high, you go Left tackle. It's a no brainier! Now, when you are 5-11, you don't go for reaches with your 2nd and 3rd round picks. You go quality, established college players who can come in and contribute immediately. Kinda, like taking the easy points (field goals) in a football game and not gambling the game away , only to hope for a fourth quarter comeback.
  9. It's been a disappointing 3 weeks. Further, we find that we have the same issues as last year, no pass rush, weak Cb depth/starting and no quick slot receiver. But somehow, I believe the ship will right itself and we find the playoffs. IMHO Pitt and Cinn are just shells of their former selves. Plus, Big Ben is headed for an MRI,
  10. The NFL.COM site : At times, his playcalling has been considered innovative. The well-known "Marty Ball" moniker encompasses both his propensity for the West Coast offense and a high-flying passing attack that has produced some of the best big-play offenses in the league over the past two decades. In Mornhinweg 15 seasons as a play-caller, his teams have finished in the top 10 in points and yards eight different times.
  11. Good point. Now we can build an offense and not look like a fraud against the likes of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.
  12. Realistically, we should be 5-0. Coming off a dismal season, I'm glad we are attacking proactive and not waiting until the season was doomed.
  13. Marty coached under Andy Reid, same with the Eagles new head coach, Doug Pederson. Reid always maintained a good offensive system with good play calling. Pederson is doing an admirable in Philly and I look for Marty to continue the same kind of attacking offensive mentality here.
  14. We seemingly had the momentum and had the game in hand early. With West running the ball strong and opening up the field for the receivers. Only to falter, with another unnecessary cute play call, instead of taking the easy points- that's 2 weeks in a row for those counting at home. Further, the noncommittal to the working ground game sealed our fate. Last year we were hurt and worked hard to stay in games, to this end, we now seem to just give them away. Unfortunately, it's time for some more changes with the Offensive philosophy.
  15. To continue.... Don't sleep on Daniel Brown, he can get down the field and cause some coverage problems with LB's. Not to mention he's got the hands!
  16. Yes, my mistake. PUP is for players hurt in the preseason and unable to play.
  17. Brown can catch the ball and can block. Seems like Williams is headed to the pup list.
  18. I wouldn't put it passed him to bulk up a little more and become an o-lineman. His dad played admirable for the Giants on the o-line and he appears to have the fight in the trenches, if he can stay healthy.
  19. Don't forget Boyle. If he can lay off the PED's , he might turn out as our best receiving Te in a year or two.
  20. Yeah, but the Vikings have a pass rush, which helps. However , when push came to shove, Rhodes dominated Beckham. Seems if you play physical you can punk him.
  21. Punt, Punt, Punt......so tired of our inconsistent and non rhythmed offense. Maybe over the last year and a half, the Ravens are trying to make games more exciting for the fans, by waiting for the fourth quarter too come alive? Puzzled.
  22. Well we know with Wallace and Perriman, receiver speed is not the problem.
  23. It is, what it is, but his under throwing of receivers is continual.
  24. I like his desire to throw deep, but, he can't underthrow the receiver. He was almost picked again throwing deep to Wallace in the endzone. People say the receiver needs to make the play, but it's hard when you have to fight through the defenders chest to get it.
  25. Just a small tidbit: When Bill Belichick personally comes down to watch a receiver's Pro day, you should atleast give him some consideration. Funny, NE dropped the ball too!
