  1. To give credit where credit is due, Schaub threw the ball from between midfield and the Ravens 45 (say the 48 to be conservative), and Camp caught it at the 21 - so that's 31 yards right there. He also threw it from the hash mark to the numbers, which is about 11 yards. Using a bit of math, the ball went about 33 yards in the air.
  2. He's got a bone bruise, so he'll definitely not be having season ending surgery like White. That being said, a bone bruise does take time to heal. Harbaugh said in his presser after practice yesterday that Perriman will be back sometime during TC, but they're not sure exactly when,
  3. That's the problem with the Br*dy Bunch - there is quite a bit of evidence everywhere: text messages, phone calls, destroyed phones, deflated balls that environmental conditions alone can't explain. The absence of a "smoking gun" does not mean there isn't evidence...just ask Hernandez.
  4. Not really. A bone bruise takes time to heal, longer than a tissue bruise. Google it - the healing time is longer than you probably think.
  5. Nope, not kidding...I just posted the full ratings over on the game discussion (not game day) thread if you're interested.
  6. Oddly, he was the third highest rated defender by PFF
  7. ...and the defense:
  8. Here are the offense's PFF ratings for the game, for those of you who are interested in them:
  9. Yeah it was, originally it had Heap (in place of Flacco) for the Seahawks game, and the Chiefs game was missing.
  10. He's a big dude alright...
  11. That's true, but the issue I have is that they don't know why a player is running with the threes. Perhaps Harbs wants to get an extended look at another player while also giving the "demoted guy" some reps. It could be as simple as a guy is playing bad, too. Again, I think we'll all have a better idea after a few preseason games - we'll be able to see his playing time and his actual play on the field.
  12. You could be right - there really hasn't been a whole lot said about him this year. I figure we'll get a better idea after a couple of preseason games.
  13. I take everything the sportswriters and bloggers say with a big grain of salt. They have about as much insight into the Ravens roster as I do sitting in my living room down here in Texas.
  14. Not me really, Boykin is basically the same player as Arrington - good in the slot. It's telling that he wanted to play on the outside, but Philly didn't want him out there.
  15. LOL, do the Pats Fan Junior Lawyers and Science Brigade (PFJLSB) have someone watching every forum from each NFL team so that someone can make a post as soon as a comment is made on a thread about the Patriots?
  16. Sour grapes because he was caught. Won't impact anything.
  17. Let's see if we can catch lightning in a bottle again and send him out with the ring he deserves!
  18. Yeah, but he's on the PUP with a back or shoulder issue.
  19. Yeah, you could tell it took them totally by surprise, or they wouldn't have taken the entire allotted time to pick Golston. I thought at the time, it looked like they moved their entire draft one round up as a result of us taking Williams.
  20. I seem to recall a lot of talk that they wanted Golston in the 2nd all along, and got the TE the really wanted in James. Glad that worked out for them lol.
  21. Never let the facts get in the way of a good overreaction, or the opportunity to levy an unfounded criticism. You do realize that before the current CBA a few years ago, every training camp included two-a-days in pads. Anyone who considers the most rigorous practices in the current CBA "abusing players" is simply talking out of his/her rear end. But yeah, a player falling on his knee after making a catch = coaching staff abuse - a player getting poked in the eye = coaching staff abuse - a player getting stepped on = coaching staff abuse - a player tearing a bicep in a non-contact drill = coaching staff abuse - and so on. Just look at the list of injuries I posted from the Steelers camp so far to gain some perspective.
  22. I posted this about a week ago, and haven't updated this, but our injury situation doesn't seen nearly as bad when compared to what the Steelers have gone through: Senquez Golson CB: shoulder Mike Mitchell FS: ankle Shamarko Thomas SS: shoulder Martavis Bryant WR: elbow infection Maurkice Pouncey C: leg Ryan Shazier ILB: shoulder Gerod Holliman S: leg Ross Ventrone S: ankle Cortez Allen CB: shoulder Jarvis Jones OLB: bicep Bruce Gradkowski QB: back Josh Harris RB: shoulder Steve Mclendon DT: shoulder DeAngelo Williams RB: shoulder Mike Adams OT: back
  23. The PUP was never an option for Urban since he practiced during training camp. They still could, however, put him on the IR designated to return list.
