Depp was one dimensional and sort of has been for a while. At last in my opinion. Then again I'm s big fan of DiCaprio and Day-Lewis. Perhaps my expectations are a bit high. He is Sparrow in the wild west as an native American yes

Well I will. I saw it for free today and I want my money back. Lol. What would you like to know? Keep in mind I hate westerns and I hate the Lone Ranger even as a kid so I might be jaded here lol

Ahhhh. Not bad. Not bad at all. You can still salvage it for sure. There are still some quality guards out there. The position isn't as bereft of talent as it's made out to be. I'd like your opinion on something. Check your messages.

You're entirely right about Ben struggling with interior pressure especially that of the center but that's most QB in the NFL. A lot of people here know my philosophy of having dominant interior linemen. You have DeCastro and Foster right? The interior isn't bad but that's not the best but I do like Mack a ton. He will definitely help you and he'll help make those guards look better.I think it would've been wiser to add edge support over interior support because the strength of your OL is inside.

As for Leach I like him as a FB. He's clearly at the top there but I don't think the top is that small. I personally would've gone in a different direction if I wanted a blocker. I think there's a better and more versatile option that's more diverse and offers a little bit more than Leach. That's including his blow you up style.

I really like Luke Stocker. I love his speed. He's also a good blocker. I think he'll do pretty well this year in the Bucs offense. He's one of my secret sleepers, personally. I really, really like him.

It was missed but I'm really sad to lose out on Mohamed Sanu. I think very highly of him. I'd anyone was around or remembers my posts from the 2012 draft they'd know I felt like Sanu was a football player. Really hate that the Bengals got him. He can play QB as well as has experience as a safety from college. He was on my list. I hate you for that one Gabe but I'm about to get you back. Sort of anyway.

I liked the Allen pick. I had him on my list of top WR left. He wasn't at the top because I'm looking for a different type of WR but I love Allen. Broyles was also on my top WR list. Do you want to leave your pick with anyone or will you be around for when berad picks?
GrimCoconut replied to gabefergy's topic in Fantasy Talk
You think he's a steal? I'm not sure I'd consider him a steal but he's a good player in my eyes. I like him a lot. I like both of these picks quite a bit. Very nicely done.

I have to admit while I'm not the biggest Martin fan I do think he's better at LT and he has a chance to surprise people I believe. He had talent and meant liked him as a LT. I remember many were very high on him. It's too early to tell if he's got it or not. IIRC Eugene Monroe struggled a bit early on. Then again so did Oher lol

Who are your LB? I mean he did play with Zach Brown and Ayers. Not sure how much better that could be unless he had Woodyard or another good LB there with him.
GrimCoconut replied to gabefergy's topic in Fantasy Talk
I'm not a fan. You know that though since I got rid of him in our last mock. I don't think it's a terrible pick considering what's left but there are some players I absolutely would've taken over him.

Yep. I chose Robert McClain because he was very impressive last year and I needed a nickel. While I had a nice list of nickel I had him on top of it. I couldn't pass on him here. I wanted to take the guy he mentioned but he wasn't my top dog. It was between McClain and another player yet to be mentioned. I just saw less depth at this position.I considered the guy he wants and wad closer to pulling the trigger but I didn't for a few reasons. Number one is I have a player better and more proven than that guy. I need a complement and he doesn't offer that. I have a complement targeted but I think he'll go under the radar quite a bit. If not sucks to be me. Btw Arnie isn't returning. He told me today. So I guess this is my team now. I'll post a roster later.

I hate baseball. I don't think there's a sport I hate more than it. I'm not sure what it is about baseball but it bores me to tears. I commend you for eve going to the baseball game, lol.

Actually I would've done things different. I would've done this:LE | Jones | Dockett | Hali I probably wouldn't have taken Irvin and would've taken Bowers for LE right around where he went maybe a little bit before. He could've had a better LB to play at 4-3 LB than Irvin. That's just me. He could've also upgraded his safety corps with the pick he used for Irvin.
GrimCoconut replied to gabefergy's topic in Fantasy Talk
Sometimes I think some of us and even teams get so fixated on scheme that they play players out of position. I say this because I think you could've ran an excellent 4-3 defense but you got too fixated on having a Ravens style defense that your own lost its identity.
