  1. I think we're up in 10 picks. Is that right?
  2. We'll probably get a returner as an UDFA.
  3. I really want a WR with the last name of a car manufacturer with our 6th or a WR with a last name similar to a Steelers LB
  4. That hurt me right in the feels
  5. How many more picks until we're OTC?
  6. If we can come away with Desmond King in the 5th then wow! I hope he continues to fall
  7. Johnson was off the board
  8. Siragusa makes sense and he's not at all surprising. Makes a lot of sense.
  9. That hurts
  10. I'd love to get Dorian Johnson or Desmond King here with our 4th round pick. Holding my breath both are available at our pick.
  11. I'm sure the Patriots are worried. Jefferson on Gronkowski and Weddle on any other TE they have (Allen), and Young and Humphrey should be able to cover guys like Hogan and Cooks. Then we got pass rushers galore in Williams and Bowser. I like what we did here.
  12. Yeah true but we'll see hopefully the stength and conditioning coach gets him to grow into a RUSH LB body. He's pretty dedicated it seems with good work ethic. Hopefully he pans out he has the potential.
  13. I read your report and I get your points but perhaps the teal feels like they can improve on his areas of weakness. On his ability to disengage, I don't recall seeing him get swallowed up and locked onto OL. I watched him disengage and make a TFL when locked on by an OL. I think it's consistency but that can hopefully be developed.
  14. It reminds me of when Justin Houston fell. Wow if he becomes the same player
  15. I'm wondering the very same thing actually. That's a great question and it makes you wonder. I have to go back and watch the video but I think he told him he'd have to set the edge and stuff so it sounds like 34 OLB
  16. @The Raven Ozzie told Bowser he'd play SAM LB on the phone when he called him.
  17. I'd love it if we drafted always with our last pick. That would be cool. I doubt we do it though.
  18. I think Wormley is a solid prospect. He's not a favorite and it's not like that matters but he's solid. I am just mad because of the repeated investments into DL with sometimes very little dividends. We took Williams in 2013 and he's been a success and Jernigan had success as a 2nd round pick but he's now gone and we could've had some great WR talent at his pick in 2014. Urban is the same way--good guy but has done very little for us and we could've used that pick elsewhere at a position like WR rather than another DL after taking Jernigan. Then 2015 we take Carl Davis, who has largely been a bust so far, and last year we took Kaufusi who got hurt and did nothing. I have no problem loading up on DL but sometimes you need to cool down and go other avenues. And how many picks have we invested into WR during that span? Probably way less than DL. I could say the same about CB, too. Thank God Ozzie finally took a CB early
  19. I wouldn't mind taking another CB or a Safety. Go after the strength of the Draft. Jackson and King would be nice options for us. King is a guy I would really like to fill both roles. Bisnowaty, Johnson, Asiata, Toth, Orlovsky for OL guys and I'd really like Dupre, Ford, Butt or Hodges on this team. Plenty of good talent left.
  20. The difference between Correa and Bowser is rather large. Outside the athletic specimen requiring development, their similarities aren't many. Correa came from Boise State, who notoriously does strange stuff with their defenders. Correa never really developed and I typically hate their defenders. Only Lawrence has succeeded as far as I recall. Bowser can actually disengage, too. Correa struggles at that
  21. This is why the pick pissed me off. I don't hate Wormley. He's OK as a player and I think he could be a good player but man...another DL? How many of these are we going to take throughout the years?
  22. I wonder what the team was saying when they said they wanted to build an OL like Dallas. I don't see that commitment here.
  23. I don't think it was Kupp, who went at 5. We picked Wormley at 10. No offensive players went between our third round picks, so that eliminates the Williams pick. It's Wormley because Elflein went 6, Feeney went 7, and Taylor went 8. Taylor would be a couple picks before 10, Feeney a few picks before 10, and Elflein 4 picks before 10 so maybe not Elflein but Feeney is highly probable we wanted him.
  24. Lol sorry but it's the truth. Ozzie said it multiple times. I'm thinking we wanted WR Taylor and OL Feeney and Elflein. They fit the mold and the range he mentioned.
  25. Not really. Zay Jones was taken at pick 5 of the 2nd round, while we picked at pick 15. That's a big difference.
