  1. So a slightly off topic but on topic question here but I need some people to contact me. I'm likely going to make an application for this game and I'd like input on what you want in the application
  2. Yeah I don't get the Humphrey hate. He's a good CB. He frustrates me at times because he gets too grabby and I've seen him get a little too undisciplined but he's got talent and could be a great pro.
  3. Colts aren't desperate to trade anyone but we're like 7/11..."we're not always doing business but we're always open." Lol. Anyway, message me if interested in trading. I'm mostly interested in draft picks since I'm light on those. I'm flexible with who is and isn't available but don't come at me asking for Luck, Castonzo, Moncrief, Hilton, Davis, Geathers or Anderson. I actually know something about the Colts and know them nearly as well as the Ravens because my best friend is unfortunately a fan.
  4. Pretty sure there's an app for that lol
  5. Indianapolis Colts Transition Tag Edge LB Erik Walden 12.5 stars
  6. Just a suggestion but if that's the case and it's unlikely to be resolved but we think it may be in the Jets favor due to the circumstances and since the Jets kinda have a crappy cap how about you guys make a decision as the commissioner(s) of the game, one way or another? I just feel like it would be fair on his end especially since the circumstances appear to potentially benefit the Jets but at a point when it'll be irrelevant as you said
  7. My only counter argument in his favor is that this is like a retirement or suspension situation. Yes it's after our lockout but we've always taken those two factors into consideration before in this game so I can't see why this wouldn't apply. It's true that this may be irrelevant but it's still something I think that should be monitored.
  8. Not my team but for @LosT_in_TranSlatioNbenefit how does the Revis situation affect him with the following disclaimer, as I would imagine if he's suspended then LiT could void his base salary and guaranteed money and recoup that for his benefit in FA? Darrelle Revis - DB - Jets According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the Jets are able to void Darrelle Revis' deal if he's suspended or fined for conduct detrimental to the team or for violating the league's personal conduct policy. The Jets were already unlikely to bring Revis back at his $13 million salary for next season, but now his arrest makes it even easier for the team to move on. If Revis is suspended or fined by either the team or the league (a near certainty if the charges stick), the Jets can recoup his entire salary including the $6 million he was guaranteed for 2017. The Jets have until March 11 to decide his fate. Revis is due a $2 million roster bonus on that date.
  9. I like this new rule. Kinda makes it a bit more even for the team losing the player. On the subject of making it possible for teams to re-sign their own FA I think one way we could make this work is to allow each of the 32 teams designate only one player as their re-sign candidate. Then have a separate FA period for these 32 players where anyone can bid on them, perhaps exclude the original team from this bidding process. Then, at the end of the FA bidding period each team would be given a chance to match the highest bid placed on that player to retain them. This could differ from the franchise tag and RFA bidding period since these players would have no star value attached and the original team that had them wouldn't be able to bid, so theoretically it would be fair as players typically shop their value and return to their original teams to match. Just a thought. Might be a stupid idea logistically but figured it may solve the whole issue with trying to re-sign your own guys. We could even include restructures in this process where the team could select a player to re-sign or could select a player already on the roster whose contract they want to rework and submit the player through this same process, but instead of no star value the team would need to put out the star value of the contract and see if anyone wants to match it. This would obviously risk the player being claimed by another team so it would require some strategy. I hope that made some sense. Kinda wrote that up while on the treadmill after being inspired by the new rule proposed by Arnie.
  10. Don't ever take a guy right off the block. Nothing wrong with second, third, fourth, etc. chances but ask Omar if a guy fresh off the block has changed. We both know what he'll say.
  11. It already started and you were skipped

  15. It depends on the city for sure because you have to also consider taxes these athletes pay and some states are better than others so being in a state that offers a much lower tax and a higher pay means significantly more money depending on the contracts offered.
  16. So he's like the Most Interesting Man but instead of beer he doesn't always get TDs but when he does he has a great Salsa?
  17. Hmmm...not sure any WR can salsa like Cruz.
  18. They aren't locked in for you? I would've thought that after you picked your team all changes do not affect you. I could be wrong.
  19. It'll be pretty easy. Not sure I'll have time to make it look pretty but maybe. I actually may actually make this. Let me see how much time I have but if I have some free time I may do it this weekend
  20. Sounds like a great opportunity for me to put my programming skills to work and create an application that automatically calculates these figures
  21. When can we start talking trades again?
  22. Sorry. I had a really rough night. I went with an easy-yet-close team. I wanted to go in two other directions, but I played both teams recently (hint, hint) and I wanted some respite.
  23. I'll trade all my picks for #1 overall
  24. I agree with your sentiments actually. Just commenting that I wouldn't mind Alexander because the team knows what it has better than we do but if we do move Correa to ILB then we'll need another OLB and with Judon, Smith, Suggs and Dumervil that's a good group in terms of age the only question is if they'll develop. I think we need a young pass rusher badly and have been calling for a guy since last year and liked Judon but I feel like we need another guy and I don't know if Smith is the guy or JAG.
