I like that idea. I think 24 hours is plenty of time for someone to get on and place a single bid. Obviously 12 hours is pretty good, too. I have as much of a busy life as anyone with all the stuff I have going on right now, and I can still make it here twice a day.

That can be gamed, too. It's never going to be a perfect system. The only way I can see this system actually work is if there is a commissioner who doesn't play the game but is responsible for all final five bids. And everyone has to PM this commissioner their bids on all players. Essentially, you can bid publicly in the forum until the final 5, then you have to PM this commissioner within the final 5 and whoever PMs the highest bid gets the player. Or you just let every team involved in the final 5 bidding to get a chance at a bid-off.

Yeah, the rule sucks but it's there. I got screwed by the same rule. Lost out on Warford due to a deadlock. It's happened before. That's why you always have a contingency in your back pocket.

I didn't have to do it because it was within the final five minutes.

OL FA has been crazy with all these invalid bids. I pity anyone who has to sort this mess out. It may be wise to figure out who the actual leaders are early before tomorrow night hits.

I think I'll walk away from OL FA for now and come back later when it settles down. Kind of a crazy market atm.

No need to get snarky. I'm just trying to help you out. Would you have rather I just not told you and let you go with an invalid bid? The rules say you can't edit bids or you incur a 15 minute penalty. I don't make the rules nor do I enforce them but I'm just trying to help you avoid a problem later.

@Yatagarasu Your bids are invalid for 15 minutes because your edited your bid quoting my bid on Pasztor. This means your subsequent bids on Warford, Wisniewski are invalid.

Wrong. He edited his bid, therefore voiding his subsequent bids. Check this one:
