Actually on second thoughts, why the hell didnt we just cut leach and his salary and then keep boldin for the year? Leachs saving would be more than the 2 mil pay cut they asked boldin to take?

Why pay your QB 120 and then ask his main WR to take a 2 mil pay cut, while you are paying a fullback who sees 30 percent of the snaps about 5?

Doesn't make sense to me, haven't the just contradicted their philosophy here? Pay the QB, then keep the overpaid run blocking fullback?

He's a run blocking and pass catching fullback who is a key piece in ensuring the success of your run game. While Q makes flacco better, neither are effective without a run game.

But Torrey was still inconsistent at times. Don't get me wrong, at this point, he is the most talented wide receiver over Q, but Q was Also taking double coverage over Torrey at the end of the year and into the playoffs.

Boldin was inconsistent at time.

There were halves, games where he didnt have a catch... otheres where he'd single-handedly take over (Second half of colts game).

But lets not argue consistency here.

i wasn't comparing the teams success....i was comparing mount cody to redding......

But what you do have to account for how shedding that salary allowed us to get free agents who helped win that super bowl. You may downgrade one position to upgrade 2 or 3.

So yes, Doss--> Boldin.... and the $6mill in savings to either resign our guys for years or attract the next crop of FA's who will attribute to success.

This feels like our FO are taking a huge leap of faith that our young guys will step up big.

Remember the D Mason and *Gulp* Mark Clayton days? That's what happens when you don't have a true proven number 1. I'm not banking on an unproven guy like streeter. Hopefully something can be worked out so that there is at least a little more certainty.

Torrey Smith is the #1 guy and was this year.

We could only get a 6th for him bc hes an aging receiver on the decline who publicly stated he has no desire to play for mondey, rings, ect... Teams know theyre not getting a long term extension, at best 1 good year. Why would you give up more than a late round pick for 1 year?

Hey, I'm going to my first Ravens game against the Broncos. Im originally from Baltimore but now live in Philly. Since I've never been to the stadium, and I got my tickets on ebay and they didnt come with a parking pass, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.

Is it worth the $50 to pay for a parking pass? What other options should i explore? My grandpa lives on the bus route and i could take that in, but is it convenient? Just trying to get this figured out in advance....
