  1. Eagles grabbing Pumphrey is a great pick. If he's got any shot in the NFL Darren Sproles is the guy to emulate. Learn behind him for a year or 2 and then hopefully take that spot over. Personally I like Tarik Cohen better for that mold bc he's got a much thicker lower body. Pumphrey is short and thin.
  2. Man I was hoping Howard Wilson would just keep falling and falling. Raw but serious height, length, athleticism combo. Would've loved to take a late round flyer on him bc if he pans out he's got lock down potential. Mainly played bail techniques which is why he wasn't taken higher.... but if he had gone back to school and worked on his press and zone coverage I think he would've been a 1st/2nd round pick next year.
  3. Hmmmm Roberts goes ahead of Butt, Kittle, and Hodges confused....
  4. I think part of it is scheme fit. He can't play in a zone blocking scheme and most teams are running strictly zone or a heavy dose these days. He can run some inside zone as long as it's not your bread and butter. But he's strictly a power, man blocker. So theres just a lot of teams that no matter how good and powerful a blocker he may be just doesn't have the movement skills or athleticism to fit their scheme.
  5. And his only decline coincided with injury. Last time he was fully healthy he was a pro bowler 3 of 4 years. Still can be a very good player.... and he was surrounded by garbage in NY. Slotting next to Yanda could help extend his career.
  6. Any chance they think he can play C? I mean I know a 4th rd pick is no guarantee to start.... but I certainly hope he can. In that case though either he or Lewis has to move.... and goose ain't a RT.
  7. Haha I was waiting for you to chime in. Thought you were gonna like this pick. Clear indication that we're committing to more power/gap/inside zone and away from stretch zone?? Love this kids power and nastiness. Pretty darn good anchor too. Then theres the name of course.
  8. If he wasn't I think he would've been the pick. I had a mid 2nd round grade on him but maybe the medical concerns were greater than I thought. Just missed out on him. Hadnt paid a ton of attention to Siragusa but like the potential. Definite power blocker with size and some nastiness. And we're pretty darn good finding mid round gems on the OL so I trust the FO here.
  9. Well there's the nasty, powerful interior OL we've been waiting for. Clear sign we're going away from the stretch zone bc he's not a mover in space. But he can anchor to handle bull rushes and will move his guy off the line. Good pick. Could start early kicking Lewis out to RT or maybe they think he can play a little at C. We'll see.
  10. Bowser +2 Wormley +2 Williams +2 Nailed day 2. Hoping to keep it rolling for day 3.
  11. lol I just posted Jordan Morgan as my guess for next pick. Lets hope. I think he could play RT or LG... def better fit for LG... and step in day 1 to become a 10 yr type starter with all pro upside.
  12. Some of my favorite day 3 prospects: OL: Jordan Morgan, Jermain Eluemenor, Jon Toth, Chase Roullier, Justin Senior, Zach Banner WR: Ryan Switzer, KD Cannon, Noel Thomas, Deangelo Yancey TE: Jake Butt, Bucky Hodges, George Kittle, Jonnu Smith RB: Donnell Pumphrey, Tarik Cohen, Jahad Thomas DB: Howard Wilson, Damontae Kazee, Corn Elder, Nate Hairston, Treston Decoud, Desmond King, Eddie Jackson LB: Harvey Langi, Kendell Beckwith, Keion Adams Edge: Carl Lawson, Derek Rivers, Ejuan Price DL: Eddie Vanderdoes, Carlos Watkins, DJ Jones A cpl of these may have been picked. I stopped watching the 3rd round after our picks. But plenty of talent with big upside... Calling Jordan Morgan as a Ravens pick. Has Ozzie written all over it.
  13. I could be mistake Adams. Maybe it was Vanderdoes.
  14. If you want to see his potential watch his UCF tape. 2 blocked kicks, run stops, sacks and pressure pressure pressure.
  15. McDowell, Brantley and I think Montravious Adams had that knock but can't say I've heard that about Wormley.
  16. It's coming. Jordan Morgan. Under the radar diamond. Going to be the next Jahri Evans. Besides I think we're signing Mangold. So it's really only 1 position (LG or RT) and I think they really like De'Ondre Wesley.
  17. Yea I didn't get the hate for the pick. Hes been a very productive interior pass rusher with strength to anchor and shed against the run. Will prob compete for that 5T spot in base but his value is his ability to kick inside in sub packages and still excel at rushing the passer. I don't know that either Kaufusi or Urban is built for that. I thought he was a 2nd round value though I would have hated if we took him there. But, getting him in the 3rd - I'm happy with it. Not ecstatic or anything but it's a solid pick. I think we really wanted Dawkins, Elflein or Taywan Taylor. Godwin was maybe the one guy I would've really preferred over Wormley... but I'll live. Jordan Morgan or Dorian Johnson are my guess for our 4th round pick.
  18. I mocked him to us in the 3rd in one of my mocks and was told that was crazy. Had a feeling he'd be a Raven all along and would've been happy with him at 16, 47 or 74. Steal. Absolute steal.
  19. I loved this pick. For those having deja vu with Correa.... of course there are similarities but Bowser is very different. Hes a much smoother and more natural athlete. He's got good bend, fluid hips and incredible footwork. Correa is much more stiff and is no where near Bowser in terms of coverage ability. Bowsers awareness is really good for an OLB. I think he's going to actually bring more value as a coverage match up weapon early on than pass rush -- though he's got the upside to become one of the better ones. This is a guy that if you really liked Reddick for us at 16 -- you're going to love this pick. Very similar impact on the game and skill set... not quite the pass rusher Reddick is at this point though bigger and better in coverage.
  20. Dude I literally would've had no issues if Tim Williams was our pick at 16. This is awesome. Bowser and Williams. Humphrey on the back end. Wormley in the middle.
  21. He can im sure. But to limit that you could bring him inside on early downs or put him on the weak side.
  22. Dawkins, Feeney, Elflein, Juju, Kupp, Godwin all still on the board for those whining about offense. Plenty of good players left. Hoping for one of those OL or WR next pick and then double dip either CB or pass rusher if Witherspoon or Tim Williams fall that far.
  23. Maybe the best edge athlete in the draft. Former bball player so has smooth movements and the footwork to excel in coverage even at the NFl level. Solid tackler that can chase down ball carriers. Crazy burst and speed. Raw in terms of pass rush ability, but has elite traits that project an ability to become a great one. Bend, feet, strong upper body. And versatile. Think less polished pass rusher version of Haason Reddick. Could play ILB on early downs if needed but hunt off the edge on the money downs. Great pick
  24. Agreed. Bowser is a much more fluid athlete and already has the polished footwork to excel in coverage. Usually that's where these edge guys struggle and it's the hardest part of the game to add. He's got bball player feet. He can bend and his athleticism is off the charts. They can teach him to hunt QB's.
  25. Mike Mayock used my comp. right now a less polished Haason Reddick. He can be a huge chess piece for us matching up with TEs in coverage, blowing up screens, chasing RBs.... and he's got the athleticism to become a great pass rusher! Great pick. Now let's hope Dawkins, Feeney, or Elflein falls to our 3rd. And if Tim Williams falls double dip and grab another. Or double dip CB if Witherspoon is there. WR targets obviously Juju, Godwin and Kupp for me. GREAT START to day 2.
