Daryl Smith is one of the best, and I love the fact that the Ravens have kept him on. He is a good leader and a solid lineman. He has the Raven Spirit that we love and you can tell in the way he plays. I truly believe that he will retire as a Raven.
Webb can be a very good corner when he is healthy. So that being said, don't get hurt doing punt or kick off returns! Also, play at 110% effort and cover your target. Play like your 2nd year (before you got hurt) and get back to being a ball hawk. Make us proud and help our secondary be it's best! I'm counting on ya', so don't let me down . . .
This is my first post in quite a while (took a long break). I personally liked the hiring of Trestman before reading this excellent article. I like him even more after reading his story, and I like what he has accomplished this off-season working with our offensive. I am super excited for what we will accomplish this year on offense, and can't wait for the season to start!

Shouldn't this article be called "The Backup Quarterback Competition"?, because Flacco does not have to compete for the starter position.
I personally do not like Schaub as a backup. I think his throws are sloppy and he is prone to too many mistakes. Unless he gets out of his slump we should give Lovelocke a chance (if he is at least as competent). Either way, Flacco should stay in until we are so far ahead in points that it doesn't matter.
