  1. I think Ozzie is doing someone a favor for an Bama alum. He did that with Rolando McLain for Nick Saban and I wonder if this isn't a similar deal. If he shows good then he can make his way back into the NFL if not in Baltimore then somewhere else. I just don't see the Ravens doing this with an already crowded backfield unless it was something like that. I don't believe McLain even suited up as a Raven but the fact Ozzie was going to give him a chance prodded Dallas to take a shot on him. Maybe when Harbaugh said he hopes someone doesn't "SWOOP DOWN AND GRAB HIM' he was planting a subliminal message hoping that is exactly what someone does.

Basically what I was thinking. Really cant hurt to have him for the OTA's, and he might get another shot in the pros. Ozzie always helps his alma mater.

  2. It can't hurt to have Brown back in camp, especially given the WR injuries we seem to go through every year. The guy knows the system so it makes since to keep him around. Will he make the team? Doubtful if all the other WR stay healthy, but it"s no risk bringing him back, and good insurance considering our injury history. Kinda same with Carter, he'll fight for A special team job, more so now that Trawlyck signed with Oakland. Don't really know if he'll stick either, but he knows our system.

  3. Wallace, Weddle & watson...and the fourth 'W' will be Welcome to B-more! Anyone out there who still thinks the Ravens are not committed to winning now? I did'nt think so. Three starter's from free agency, our 1st round and possibly our 2nd round picks starting(both very high picks,A luxury the Raven's hav'nt had for quite A while!), and A healthy Perriman = A nice little re-vamp from last year. As an added bonus, Watson and Weddle are proven locker-room leaders.

  4. Wallace would be A really good fit for us. I love "Q", and would'nt argue about bringing him back, but we need A speedster like Wallace more than A dump-out receiver. Course, if Perriman can stay healthy he'd be the obvious option, and we could use the cash elsewhere. But I don't think the Ravens can put all their eggs in Perriman's basket, so we need to sign A proven burner.
