Why would the D be stunned with the final drive? They've done that all year long, every time we go into The Peesvent defense.
Yeah, there were scores left on the field. If Perriman had jumped to catch the ball instead of standing flatfooted, he would have made the catch. The Pitta play, although a difficult pass, should have been caught, after all he is a pro. The Lee Evans, I mean Waller catch would have been made if he hadn't pulled it into his body. Still it was a hell of a game,
This game had everything a Ravens/Steelers battle should except the outcome that we wanted. What a roller coaster ride of emotions all game long.
Well, we fought till the bitter end. Classic Ravens/Steelers battle. No need to hang our heads as we just left too much time on the clock at the very end.
How many red zone opportunities do we need before we start scoring some damn touchdowns?
I was to watch this big game with my father, but he passed away Friday night, so I firmly believe we have we will win this game and advance on. I will be drinking my Natty Boh with Mr. Bohs face toward the tv. God Bless and GO RAVENS!
So sorry to hear of your loss my friend. My prayers go out to you and your family.

That's exactly what it is, lol and they only need an additional 8 for the line to gain.
Just wanted to recognize the players, coaches and staff for their sacrifice of being away from their own families today so that they may entertain us.
Merry Christmas Team!

A far as all the other things you said here in your post...I pretty much agree with it. However, "IF" Perriman is to grow and improve as a WR, I feel he needs to be on the field and targeted. That rarely happens. To be honest, imo the Ravens coaching staff do a horrible job at "developing" our young receivers so much so, that we have not had a pure "beast" at that position in years.
Couldn't agree more. We have always been notoriously bad at developing the WR position and for them to get the reps and targets they normally have to wait for someone to go down before they can move up. Much like Aiken last season.

That would be a true miracle and would bring people flocking to Cleveland, hoping to get their own miracles answered..
My Christmas wish is for an absolute Ravens beatdown at the big ketchup bottle and a trashing of the yellow towels.
Good or bad, this game will all fall on Joe's shoulders. Let's just hope it's good Joe today.
We have to start somewhere to get back to .500 in games won on the road. Win today and then next week and we do just that.
Guys like Beyer always have something to prove. Just like Orr.
Very true! But first he has to dress and second he has to be given an opportunity on the field.
Beating the yellow towels is the only path that truly matters.
Steve may not be the tallest player in the NFL but, he casts a giant shadow.

Whoever reported that I find it hard to believe considering he practiced all week and has stated that he wants to play. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Ok Joe, you've dreamed the dream, all that's left is the reality of you proving it's yours again.

I'm getting so sick and tired of always seeing the Patriots lock up home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
In all seriousness and as a PSL owner, it has been on my wish list since the beginning. I would love nothing more then to hear "The Playoffs Go Through Baltimore". I've been to every Ravens game since they arrived including the playoffs at "The Bank" and would totally enjoy a AFC Championship being played in our house.

Hey Mili, right there with you brother. We've been waiting for that for 20 damn years (in my best Mili voice). I guess we're just going to have to wait for Tom Brady to turn 67 and decide to finally retire from football.

It was one heck of a battle, a classic matchup between these two teams. The offense could have done more with the 3 dropped TD's and the defense could have made the stop on their final drive. Where was the pass rush all day? I absolutely hate it when we go into the "Peesvent" defense. Our zone coverages have been weak all season.
