Looks like a jump start on forming our off-season 90 man roster.
That's exactly what it is. Don't know much about him and we can only hope the guy is worth his salt.
I'm looking forward to seeing Reynolds and Onwausor get some time on the field. I would also like to see Lewis at right tackle. We need to know what we have there should we not be able to resign Wagner next year.
Yeah, we all want the D to end on a high note as well. Can and will they deliver is the question.
Congrats to Reynolds. Make the most of your opportunities young man.
I don't feel that the Brown catch was a great play at all. Weddle and Mosley had his momentum stopped there. The refs could have blown the play dead at that spot but they allowed the play to go on for a couple seconds in which he was able to reach. It just wasn't meant to be.
I glad Dume finally explained what his situation was so we can now put it to bed.
The mysterious “foot area” injury that outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil has been working through all season has finally been revealed.
And, it’s quite significant.
Dumervil, who turns 33 next month, had surgery to repair a torn Achilles, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. The motivation behind the secrecy was that Dumervil didn’t want to become a distraction to the team.
I knew there was something else going on with this cat. And the secrecy nearly all season long? Man what a joke!
If we can gain 6 Mill in cap space its time to say bye bye
First off, someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I feel like there's SO much misconception just saying cutting him clears 6 mill of cap space.... He's Owed 8.375. If we cut him, that gives us 6 mill in cap space- therefore that leaves 2.375 of dead money that we don't get to put towards anybody, Meaning, We Really only save 3.625 million overall! I will take Doom for 3.625 mill instead of someone else. Big time.
No, realistically that's not correct Bud. That 2.375 is a paper charge for money already paid to him in the form of signing bonus before he even stepped on the field here. That paper charge hits the books this season whether he plays or not. His salary is 6m in true money for next season. Should he not play we will save a full 6m.
I'm looking forward to seeing Reynolds. Hope he gets some playing time as I want to see how he has progressed.
I'm sick of playing in Cincinnati to end our season year in and year out. Let's break this streak and dominate them the entire game. Maybe then the NFL will give us a different team to face at the end of the season for a change.

Thinking more that Rex should become a podiatrist. We already know how he feels about feet. "Dr. Rex"
I may be going against the grain here a bit but, I want to see us build a beast of an offense. Something that will strike fear into the hearts of opponents and force their backs to the wall. A true scoring machine that can dominate games on the ground and through the air.
A strong offense with a efficient defense is something we've never had here and could be just what we need to string a couple more championships together.
I am hoping for a win. We have to break this jinx of losing in Cincinnati year after year. Maybe if we do win, we won't have to end our season playing there for a long while.
The only thing that matters right now is breaking our losing streak in Cincinnati. Bring the New year in on a positive and skin these cats.
Congratulations to Dennis on making it all the way back. He defied the logic of returning and should be honored as such.
I feel Steve should retire however he feels he should. The Ravens should have some kind of ceremony to honor him for his accomplishments while here. The one thing that will always be his and ours is that he finished his great career as a Raven.
You can't deny his impact on our line. A consummate pro and all around great teammate. HOF and ROH bound for sure.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to get both either, just thinking how sweet that would be. We have always found success with bringing in FA WR's for the most part. I wouldn't be against doing that again provided the price is right and I agree we need to keep finding them early in the draft.
If Harbs isn't the problem, then he has to be the solution. When the HC doesn't have the X's & O's background, he has to hire and depend on his coordinators to lead the team. He hasn't done bad with the defense and special teams selections but, his offensive hires leave a lot to be desired.
I beg to differ with you in a lot of games we lost over the last couple years we lead in 4th quarter only to watch pees stupid prevent defense cost us the game if pees is here next year nothing will change
I mean no offense but, Pees is not the problem here. I agree that I don't care for the the 'Peesvent" defense, as I call it. In most cases you mentioned, he was forced to use that due to injuries and lack of pass rush.
You can't bring in a weaker CB and expect them to shut down one side of the field without safety help when Jimmy goes down. You have to hold both safeties back deep to help which is the prevent.

This WR FA class looks legit with Garçon, Jeffrey, Britt, Jackson^2, Boldin, Floyd, Quick, Wright, Floyd, Pryor, and our own Kamar Aiken. I personally like Garçon and Britt the best of that group and wouldn't touch Pryor at all and doubt we go after Floyd due to his DUI and he may not even hit FA. Boldin would be cool but I highly doubt he returns.
I have to totally agree Grim. Could you imagine having both Britt and Garcon along with Perriman, our TE's and RB's on this team. That would too cruel for the rest of the league.

Spot on! The only difficulties that Pees had this year was a weak passrush and the injury to his #1 CB. Those two things were the only reason he had to change his scheme during games and forced him into his "Peesvent" defense. Fix the passrush and get 1 more shutdown corner solves all his issues.
I have never been a proponent of building a team through free agency. I would much rather build through the draft and pay our own guys once they have proven their worth. We have been fortunate to get good players like Mason, Q and Smith through free agency but outside the wide receiver position and D line we have failed to find good talent. Some have been serviceable but most have been disappointments, especially the DB's we have brought in.
There is no doubting the type of player and man that Steve Smith is after that presser. I'm just disappointed his final game is away and our fans don't have the chance to send him out right.
Why is it that we always have to finish our season on the road in Cincinnati? All the while, Cincinnati and Pittsburg get there final games at home. Is there a little bit of schedule favoritism going on here or are the NFL schedule makers just that stupid that they don't realize they keep doing the same thing over and over and over.
Not having Orr and Wagner on the field this week may cause the team some problems. At least Hurst won't be protecting Joe's blind side, He'll at least be able to see it coming if Hurst whiffs.

I have never understood how this team can be so pathetic in zone coverage during the 4th quarter. They have to be doing something differently than other portions of the game, I just can't put my finger on what it is.
