  1. Just read this morning on PFT that Pitt will wear their color rush against us on Christmas Day.
  2. Those Harbaugh Boys.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/13/jim-harbaugh-denies-eating-booger-saturday-or-ever/ At least it wasn't during the National Anthem
  3. Guessing you missed losing to the 0-13 Phins in 2007. Tank, you know that was a gimme game. That was the price we paid to get Cams' unbelievable offensive strategy here after he was fired in Mia.
  4. As an employer, I would tell you to take the new job in your field. Give them whatever notice you can and don't look back. Also, don't be disappointed if they just release you, it happens.
  5. Jordan Mills
  6. The NFL ruled on his appeal Friday and upheld the suspension.
  7. Can't wait until Sunday. As always, I will be right there in sec. 127, screaming as loud as I can.
  8. I agree, with the exception of Henry. I don't see us going with less than 6 DL. I think it may be Canady for this week. I was hoping to see Moore go only because I want to see a 3 wide with him, Perriman & Wallace but I don't see us going 6 WR active.
  9. I like the idea of BW in on running downs & Pierce rotating in on passing downs. That pocket push in the middle is exactly what we need.
  10. Nobody's ever really considered him a receiver though. They tried to make him the No. 1 receiver in the Bears offense for a couple years but he's always been more of a gadget player than a receiver. We probably could have stuck him with a DB number here, he won't get any meaningful Offensive snaps at this point in his career with his injuries. You may be right since he hasn't learned our playbook yet. At some point he may have to be used in case of injury considering I wouldn't expect them dress 6 WR's often.
  11. With certainty, I know Pitta will be fine. When I used my american express card yesterday, the authorization code was 88PITTA88.
  12. This will be a big opportunity for our line because you know Rex is going to bring the heat almost every down. I hope our rooks can handle all the stunts and overloads Rex is sure to throw at them. Show they can handle most of it and we'll be good for the year.
  13. I know we have many weapons on paper. Let's just hope it's high quality paper with their names embossed in cursive and not scrolled in crayon on TP.
  14. Yeah, receivers need to be between 10-19 or 80-89. He was able to pull off 23 because he was a cornerback in college and didn't really have a position when he was drafted. Guess he was able to keep it because he hasn't played meaningfully as a receiver during most of his career. Hester averaged over 330 receiving yards over his 10 yrs. In 2014 with the Falcons he had over 500. I'd say that's fairly meaningful. 2015 he was hurt.
  15. You won't see Campanaro at any time this year. He is on IR and was NOT on the final 53 so he is not eligible to return and play this year at all. Elam or Carl Davis were on the final 53 and then put on IR when they signed Hester and recalled Forsett. After all, after the great play Elam has produced since he has been here he wasn't worth cutting for Butler, and we had to risk our #1 back just to keep him. I guess he has pictures of someone in a compromising position because he has done nothing, absolutely nothing on the field to justify a roster spot. Yet, here he is, sucking up a roster spot that could have belonged to a playmaker. But NFL Front Offices don't like to admit they made a first round blunder so they drag the player along, year after year, hoping he does something that they can point at and say, see, we told you so. In Elam's case, they are going to be waiting a long time to say that. If you watch Harb's presser from Tues., he said Camp was "released, injured" and is now a "free agent" 10:40 mark. He went on to say they would love to get him back but they have to wait a minimum of 3 weeks by rule or until he is fully healthy.
  16. Man... do you realize you took up 1.5 pages of this thread just today, lol. Kidding aside, we all should be wearing purple shades this time of year. Just some need to clean theirs to see a little clearer.
  17. Since I don't think any one has mentioned him yet, I'll say Hester takes the first one back for 104 yd TD. Says he's earned his 1.1 mil.
  18. Per Harb's presser yesterday @ the 10:40 mark, he said he was "released, injured" and is a "free agent".
  19. On top of that, it's winter league. Go figure.
  20. Never been much of a white pants kinda guy. To me, it's too traditional, too 70's, too Balt.Colt's. I'll take the all black, purple on black and white on black any day. They do need to dress up the black pants with something though.
  21. I think the fact that Perriman went down really helped to open their eyes to the limitations forced by not being able to stretch the field. Had Perriman played, they may not have brought in Wallace or possibly not drafted Moore.
  22. If that is true I will happily retract my statement. Thanks.
  23. This I agree with. I understand waiting awhile after the season and hoping the issue would heal on it's own but I feel he should have had the surgery long before he did. He wouldn't be missing all of camp, preseason and now games if he had it taken care of sooner.
  24. Looking at opponents schedules, the Raiders have a tough first half travel wise. They have to come to the east for 5 away games in the first 8, Saints, Ravens, Jags. Buccs & Tenn.
  25. I can't wait to see him contribute. I'm expecting most teams to kick deep to keep it out of his hands and put it on the 25. PR's is where I expect to see a change in field position. Did he really have to wear a bears hat to his 1st presser though.
