  1. We just need to shade coverage to Wright's side with Webb a little more to give him help over the top.
  2. You want ancient? Bring back the Power T Formation with the two TE & 3 RB set. Pull 1 OT & 1TE and pitch out to the trailing back giving 4 lead blockers to the outside. Hey, it worked in 1940 from what I read.
  3. LOL! PFT has us ranked #7 in their latest power rankings. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/27/week-four-power-rankings-6/
  4. What Joe did when Harbs told him you guys want Cam back
  5. If I was on the Browns, I'd be drinking heavily too. I just wouldn't drive after. Maybe he stashed his own bottle for the flight home.
  6. Does anybody know who our best receiver really is? Right now that seems pretty open to interpretation. Exactly! Someone made a statement in RT about not having a top 20 receiver. Well, when you have a receiver by committee and you spread the ball around, you don't have a top receiver.
  7. Sorry but Dixon won't help this run game. The problem lies with some of the scheme and the OL. Specifically Zuttah. The guy just gets pushed out of his lanes too often and is nothing more than a speed bump against the pass rush. If we can see it, you can't tell me the coaches don't. Time to make the move to someone else on the roster or find someone to bring in by trade. It has to get fixed immediately.
  8. I agree that their OL is pretty good, but they have run against teams that are mediocre to bad against the run. Tenn. being the best of the three and just held them to 17 points. All 3 of their backs have broken big runs which inflates the YPC a bit with 22, 30 & 75 yards respectively. Hopefully we will be able to contain them better.
  9. Hester has 32 combined fumbles over his 10 yr career on KR & PR. Obviously it's not uncommon for him to put a few on the deck.
  10. Well, it was good to see Joe go under center and have the "I" formation set up behind him. Also to see West get 15 on the play. Yes it was only one play and I know that there's little proof that a lead back helps us to gain more yardage. It was good to see though.
  11. I feel it's a combination of scheme and talent. For the 1st time this season, we ran a "I" formation with Flacco under center. Result was West got 15 yds, our longest run so far. I'm not sure if we used it again the rest of the game though.
  12. All I've got to say is Trustin Tucker and Wheels Flacco. You go guys.
  13. That game was one big, heapin, steamin pile of dung. Somehow, we came out smellin o.k. in the end.
  14. Sometimes......ugly is Beeeeautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I would agree but he did get some practice there with Zuttah missing time. Scratch that. Zrebiec just said Zuttah warming up with the 1st squad
  16. May still. We'll see at game time, but I'm with you.
  17. Maybe going with the taller guys as well.
  18. Going to be high of 89, feel like mid 90's
  19. This is really cool of Timmy to do:
  20. We should be licking our chops going against this line with their back-ups.
  21. I'm ugly, so is my wife. We have two ugly kids. Hell, even my dog is ugly. I can handle a ugly win, no doubt.
  22. I thought I heard he was working in the NFL offices.
  23. Wow! Just read that the last time that we beat the Jags in Jacksonville was 2001. That's 15 yrs of pent up frustration that we need to convincingly rectify this week.
  24. I think the problem with the run game is more a O-line than Trestman problem. Although, once Flacco started throwing the rock around more it did open up the run game some. The problem with the run game is Forsett. Go with West, Allen and Dixon. JF is making WAY too much money for his production and age. Save some $$, and let the guy go get all the social media face time he needs for himself and his family! The problem with our run game is a combination of play design and execution. Often our players are not moving the defense off the ball or the defense is reaching the hole before the blocks are made on pulls.
  25. Well it will be fun to see what BB does now: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/09/23/report-jacoby-brissett-tore-a-thumb-ligament-may-need-surgery/
