  1. We should all try to stay on topic a little. I sure do hope Steve is ok. Any extended period with out him is going restrict the team even more. Get well Steve.
  2. We come out with a beautiful first drive. Then we get into the red zone 2 more times before the half and all we can come away with is 3 points. I knew this game was lost after that. We have to face facts here, the wheels have fallen off the coaching cart.
  3. Yes I do. Thought Justin was the ultimate teammate. Would want nothing but the best for him. Detroit is a perennial bottom feeder for the most part and I wouldn't want to see him finish out his career on a team like that, unless it's his only option. I would hope most Ravens fans would feel this way.
  4. Well for all who wanted to see Wright benched and Davis active, here it is.
  5. Totally agree with both of these posts. Limiting DJax to the underneath routes is an important key to this game. Just as important is limiting Reed as well.
  6. Yeah, I've watched that play about a half dozen times. Lewis stood flatfooted, never moving with his eyes in the backfield, and didn't move until Crabtree was making his break past Wright. At that point there was a minimum of 15 yards between them. With no one coming up the seam, he should have been moving to the corner much, much sooner imo.
  7. A key to this game is pressuring Manning. He throws the ball away more than any other QB when under pressure.
  8. Totally agree on Lewis. The play was bad coverage by Wright, but Lewis was a bust on his only coverage as well and didn't help Wright out at all. Crabtree was even with him with 15 yards. between them. No one is going to make up that distance on that type of play.
  9. We've averaged 3 sacks a game over the first 3. I hope we're super hungry get 6 today to make up for last week and keep that 3 sacks per game average going.
  10. Reported Justin Forsett will meet with the Lions on Monday. I thought there would be a little more interest and I really hope this isn't his only option. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/10/09/justin-forsett-to-visit-the-lions/
  11. Good luck Darren, make the most of your opportunities.
  12. I see what you're saying friend. You are right, Flacco released the ball well before SSS made his break. My mistake.
  13. I have to say I'm impressed by a woman who calls her food "grub". ...and I mean that in a nice way.
  14. I don't know, thinking it doesn't look too promising. A #7 draft pick washes out at Arizona, traded to New England and doesn't see 1 snap in 4 games? Especially considering all the injuries they've had on the line. I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look at him, but I wouldn't expect a signing.
  15. Watching the all 22, I agree that SSS wasn't wide open, but was the most open of the 3. Wallace ran a dig and wasn't open at all. Aiken had his guy right with him the whole route (still should have made the catch). The marker was directly at the 40. SSS ran a dig and out making his break at the 38 while his defender dropped to the 35 and stood there flat footed facing the center of the field. With 2 - 3 yards between them. The pass should have went to SSS imo. Not trying to rag on you because it doesn't really matter at this point. I just wanted to state what I saw.
  16. Absolutely. #1 ranked OL in the league.
  17. Only matters if we lose to the skins at their home. We can beat them at the bank and still make it to the show.
  18. Although at right tackle.
  19. Haven't seen any news on him. We should at least bring him in for a visit.
  20. The only people that want this to be a rivalry are the media. There's no rivalry here. I have a disdain for their fans when they come here. Just like those yellow towel waving fools to the northwest, we have to cringe through 10,000 choruses of Hail to the Redskins before every game. Outside of that and my disgust for Jack Kent Cooke, this other "Maryland" team to the south is insignificant to me and always will be.
  21. This thread just keeps spiraling.
  22. I am in the same boat as you. Whats the story with Urschel? He is a better center than Zuttah but is being ignored, he is better than Jensen at guard and he is being ignored. He has been a full participant in practice but inactive during games. My theory based on Harbaugh; Urschel must be in the doghouse. He must have studied too much math over the summer and not football and that ticked off Harbaugh, or Urschel may not play special teams which you know ticks off Harbaugh, or he is an NFLPA rep that routinely busts Harbaugh for breaking CBA rules and ticks off Harbaugh. If he was hurt, like earlier I would buy into his being inactive, but he has been practicing at full bore for over two weeks now and has yet to be active. There is something going on here, what it is ain't exactly clear. But I have a feeling based on previous history with our head coach. He is not in the "doghouse". He has just been beaten out by better players. Both Jensen and Lewis have jumped him on the depth chart. They are much stronger at the point of a attack (Urschel was on skates when he played last year) but as others have said Urschel couldn't do any worse than Jensen at this point. I am not sure how you (or anyone else) came to the conclusion that he is better than Jensen and Zuttah. Is that based on last years performance or pre season? He was absolutely terrible last year. Jensen and Zuttah were clearly better than him then. There seems to be some revisionist history about his ability as an interior lineman. All of the publicity hr has gotten in the offseason seams to have made people forget about his poor play. I mean its a great story but being a mathematician doesn't make you any stronger or more athletic. hes the strongest Mathlete we have. LOL You came up with another good one 2 days in a row. You go girl.
  23. I think other posters nailed it by saying an improved pass protection and questionable run blocking Well, if we're going to pass it 50+ times again this week, that will be great. I think we will be ok on that side running the ball. Not great, just ok.
  24. LOL, Post of the week right there.
  25. LOL, you had to ask K-Dog. Well there it is. Let's break it down to short form: Millennials think Flacco is old, can't pass or run especially on 3rd & 4th downs and costs too much. Done! As far as Manzel coming here, I say just Letitgo.
