  1. This is going to be one hell of a game! Nothing else needs to be said.
  2. Although having a healthy Jimmy out there playing would allow us more coverage options in the D backfield, I have confidence in the other players to do their jobs. Will there be plays made against them, sure. The objective is to minimize big plays which I feel they will be able to accomplish.
  3. You just have to love the way Suggs gets so fired up for these rematches time and time again. The Sizz is coming for ya Ben!
  4. Outside of the 2 dropped interceptions and having 1 taken away from him by penalty, Weddle has been a godsend for this team. I have no doubt he will continue to make his mark as a top Raven and help to propel this team to greatness.
  5. Flacco has averaged 272 yards a game this year so far. Considering how the Oline struggled during the first half of the season, Flacco has turned his season around. He needs 213 yards against the Steelers to break that 4000 mark that has eluded him his entire career, which i feel he can easily accomplish. Everything else above and including the following week will be just added gravy. He also needs 4 TD's to match his regular season total in 2012, the year we won the SB. Again, I see this as something he can easily accomplish over the next two games. In addition, he is sitting right at his career average of 13 for regular season interceptions. Love him or hate him, by Flacco standards he is having a fairly good season.
  6. Yeah I really like the fact that he has long trained under Payton who imo is one of the better offensive minds presently and also that he is fairly young being in the mid-forties. I'm ready for some fresh minded input for this offense.
  7. Thanks Mod 3. I never realized we can access through the forums.
  8. I'd still be interested in Pete Carmichael from the Saints if Payton is traded away unless he takes Pete with him. A new HC there would most likely want their own staff.
  9. Congratulations to all selected. You are all consummate pros who are very deserving of the selection. My biggest wish is that none get to play in it though.
  10. That is a big snub on Weddle and Williams should have been chosen as well, although it would have driven his price up even higher for next year.
  11. Add #3, the Eisenberg article from yesterday is not loading comments as well. And #4, the What You Missed article.
  12. I hope they wrapped Camp in bubble wrap and put him on the shelf with a tag that says Do Not Open Till Christmas. We need more plays like that jet sweep from him this week.
  13. The key to stop the Steelers has always been to slow their run game. Bell is their #1 weapon, control him running the ball and coming out of the backfield on short passes and we force them into mistakes throwing the ball downfield.
  14. Although he's been very good this season, I have to agree with this statement. Why he just stood at the goal line waiting instead of attacking Wentz and saving 2-3 yards is beyond me.
  15. I was thinking the same thing. I also was considering if they are able to win both and lock up the division, will they be mentally exhausted heading into the playoffs.
  16. Maybe due to his deep south location, every time he posts I keep getting a picture in my mind of that kid playing the banjo in Deliverance.
  17. I agree with all said but, at this point i feel if they were to sit Ducasse, they would use Lewis if he can handle the switch. Still, this formation of the line has served us well to this point, outside a few penalties, why mess with it.
  18. This will be interesting to see how the board reacts. Joe presently has completed 3788 passing yds to date which is an average of 271 yds per game. He needs 212 yards in the Pitt game to get to 4000 for the 1st time in his career, something many here have been clamoring for. Is this his best passing season? Keep in mind that, although it's not an impossibility, it will be difficult for Joe to match his TD output of 2014 with 27 in-season scores with sitting presently at 19 and two games remaining. I feel what is more realistic is that he could match or beat the 2012 SB season of 22. Also consider his interceptions to date is sitting at 13 on the season which is his average per year for his career. In my opinion, some of his accolades this year has been the result of the lack of or abandonment of a run game. Still, I feel Joe is having a very good (not great) year of production for Joe Flacco standards and my hopes are that he continues his best through the remaining two games. Light'em up Joe!
  19. I almost spit out my coffee there, thanks. lol
  20. The run game was close to perfect against the Eagles. That doesn't necessarily mean that it will have the same success against other teams. I still want to see us attempt to establish the run each game and think we should ride it more often when it proves to be working.
  21. Hate to keep bringing up issues with the site but if I don't ,no one will know. Lately, it has become more prominent that comments won't load on some news articles. At present there are two over the last couple days: (1) Justin Tucker Ties NFL Record... (2) Ravens Already Excited...
  22. Great story! Proud to be a Raven maniac. Warm wishes go out to the Cokley family.
  23. You also have to give them credit. They took us to the brim and with the way they were converting on 4th down all day, they definitely had the momentum to convert that final play. My hat's off to CJ.
  24. Well it's over and we managed to put another notch on the barrel. Time to clean our guns, reload and and delve into the next one against our arch-nemesis. I would have happily taken more wins this year but, you couldn't write a better ending with what we are facing. Win the next two and we deserve to be in.
  25. I'm seriously contemplating not watching the game until the 26th. I'd rather not risk ruining my Christmas.
