The Titans gladly welcome Jay Cutler to their offense! Cutler really did well last year with almost no receivers and showed that a change of offensive philosophy could better suit his strengths. I didn't particularly care for Mariota.

Don't you remember? You traded me your 1st selection, I traded it to the Chargers, the Chargers traded it to the Saints, and the Saints traded it back to you.
Just now, Inqui said:Now that it's finally been confirmed I feel I can give my opinion. That was a fantastic trade for the Saints. Still got a huge question mark for QB, but there are a few ways they can go. And you'd never expect them to have 24 stars or so of cap space.
I agree. The Saints could've cut Brees for that cap space, but got Slauson (via Cutler trade) and the #3 pick (while sacrificing a 2) out of it.
The Tennessee Titans give the San Diego Chargers: Pick #7 (1.7)
The San Diego Chargers give the New Orleans Saints: Pick #3 (1.3)
The New Orleans Saints give the San Diego Chargers: Pick 2.16
The New Orleans Saints give the Tennessee Titans: Jay Cutler (-16 stars for Saints, + 16 stars for Titans)

On the trade block for the Titans are Justin Hunter, Bishop Sankey, B.W. Webb, Blidi Wreh-Wilson. None of these players are potential cuts.

If there is any cap space left. Get ready for a lot of 1.5 star bid-offs.
Like I said in the last free agency, so much of what CBs are charged for/credited with starts on the D-line. Does any team have a what's considered a great secondary but get little pressure up front? I say no. But upgrade the D-line and suddenly the CBs "start to play well".

Yes I see, and you snuck it in the last post on the page so I didn't see it. Oh well, I don't need him.

Ok, I didn't get a notification for it.

Idea: Can we neg the bids that are no longer the top bid? I think it would make it easier to navigate who's in the lead. Post score shows up on mobile, right?

If anyone wants to trade a good player to clear up cap space, let me know. Also willing to hear inquiries about one of my top 10 picks.
I'm glad I could get at least one NT. The most important and underrated position on defense if you ask me. CBs get much more attention because they're the result of the big plays, but when a CB gets "burned", part of that is the D-line not doing its job. The closer to the ball you are at the snap, the better your odds of directly affecting the play.

Just wait until O-line bidding...
1 minute ago, GrimCoconut said:Well, simple math states that if you have 40 million of cap in a game, and have many more positions to go, that investing close to a 4th of that cap into a player isn't necessarily a grand idea. You know, being that there are many more positions and all. It's especially interesting given the state of the draft class being exceptionally deep in DL talent.
You're right in a sense, that people tend to overpay for marginal talent in a bubble. You can always look at a cheaper player and go "he's a better deal". But if you keep making that decision, you'll wind up with way too much leftover and not enough talent to compete. Talent's salary is exponential.
Secondly, this draft may be full of D-line talent, but in a similar fashion they might just get overdrafted and you could wind up with nothing.
1 minute ago, Inqui said:It's crazy how high some of these prices are getting, especially given how insanely stacked the draft class is.
Well what else are you gonna do with 40 million dollars of fake money? Invest frugally?

Jay Cutler is on the trade block for a backup KR/gunner or emergency punter and a good olive loaf recipe. MUST be gluten free.
