Are we really only doing 25 rounds? Not everyone's going to have a full set of starters (punter, long snapper, etc)

I think he was saying that he had a hole at OLB not DE, and while he liked Werner, didnt have a spot for him.

Don't have a spot? Then put him as a reserve. Like me.

...Well I'm certainly not using him at quarterback.

I think its because he's a tough piece.  I wanted to draft him, but just couldn't fit him in as a OLB in a 4-3.

 

There's another early 2013 draft pick that has the same problem (and hasn't been drafted here).  Ofcourse he has more issues than just that.  

So? I have a 4-3. I'm using him as an end. I always thought of him as a DE even though he'll be used as an OLB in Pagano's system.

Even if the Pats don't cut Dennard and people say they're going back on their word ("We cut Hernandez because he was arrested"), I think we all would understand. Hernandez was cut because he's probably going to prison for life. They could really use Dennard.

Love the Bunkley pick. I'm not sure how he lasted this long since he us among the best run stuffers in the game.

Because no one knew who he was until PFF did an article yesterday that graded him among the top interior linemen over the last 5 years. That'd by my guess anyway. I certainly never head of him.

Yea but tbh, im not really fine with it. I like playing this game with a degree of realism and a player going before my pick (no matter the circumstance) is part of the game. It takes some of the fun out of it if I cant adjust to that. Same reason I gave myself an intentional cap handicap in the mock nfl draft game with franchising Flacco at 20m. 

 

Im not mad at you for taking Conte or even mad that Conte was taken. Im just really angry about being tricked into revealing my pick. Seeing you grab him after was just salt in the wound. 

I'd rather take someone else than contribute to some hostility on the board. It's just a game. I don't want people to be worried about leaving their picks with someone else because of this.

no its fine take conte. I just have to adjust. Im sure you didnt mean to pull that. But im just mad that it happened after the incident occurred. Im not mad you took him. Im more angry about the fact that blackbirds basically gets away with that (even unintentionally) 

I had both players ranked about evenly anyway. I'm fine changing it.

Poe and Incognito are great choices. 

Since there are 3 rounds (HC DC OC), I say we flip the order for the last two rounds. The order would be ABC-CBA-CBA. So someone gets selections #1, #64, and #96. Someone else gets selections #32, #33, #65. It's too much of an advantage to pick towards the top for round 1 and then again for round 3.

I didn't have him as my top-rated DE left, but he was up there for me. Good pick.

We're starting to get to the part of the draft where I don't know who these players are.

Roach... I don't know about this pick.  I realize the ILB position is extremely thin currently.  Roach has been pretty much a part time player for the Bears and hasn't really excelled in any area.  I also don't think the Bears would have let him go if they thought he could do more with losing urlacher.  However he can play multiple positions and won't get embarrassed so you certainly could have done worse. 

He will be a 3-down player for the Raiders and is already being called the leader of their defense. He got a pretty good contract that the Bears couldn't match. He's like their Ellerbe. Undrafted free agent linebacker who got a good contract and is expected to bring life to a lesser team's defense. I'm counting on him to step up the way PFF claims he did when Urlacher went down at the end of last year, and like many players do when situated in a new leadership position. He's gotten great reviews from Raiders minicamp. So I feel pretty good about this pick.
