The problem teams have playing rookie QBs is they think they're going to confuse him by mixing coverages, but his own offense is simplified and the OC draws up ways to exploit it.

Why can't we enjoy a player for any amount of time? As soon as they play well it's "Guess he's gone".

You might think you're playing bad teams, but it's the beginning of the season and you're playing teams with hope and nothing to lose. The Bills and Browns are not stacked but they're certainly not hapless. Not until we get through with them, anyway.

Pretty awful start for everyone. The run game, dropped passes, missed tackles, the INT... after that it was pretty good. Cleveland has good receivers and we tested Haden too much. Pierce and Judon played really well for rookies in their 2nd game.

Awful news. He was one of the best and will be missed.

AJ might be the best WR in the game. Antonio Brown and OBJ have Super Bowl-winning QBs throwing them the ball. AJ routinely makes circus catches and has the size the other WRs don't. He's single-handedly responsible for Dalton's big contract.

He might be but it was the even bigger punk Mitchell grabbing and shoving him after the play was over that caused the reaction.

I don't understand why DBs don't position themselves in front of the WR. It's a lot easier to block the ball with your body than catch it with your hands. Went right through Breeland's mitts.

I really think the Redskins have the advantage here. Their defense is underrated and they have very good receivers.

I saw some low throws to protect the receiver and just secure the 1st down. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm assuming he was playing it safe and not misfiring. Especially on broken plays where the WR is coming back to the ball.

I watched it (thanks for the tip) and I'm not sure if it's really every throw because the Perriman catch wasn't in there, but I thought he looked just fine. Even with the flat-footedness, I didn't see any accuracy issues. Only one or two passes didn't hit the receiver's hands. I was expecting worse because I didn't see the 2nd half, but it looks like we just had some unproductive screens and unfortunate completions just short of a 1st (And conservative throws, of course).

It wasn't quite the blowout I thought it would be, although the yardage totals were pretty uneven. If it wasn't for Zuttah snapping the ball at the wrong time, I think we would've put the pressure on the Bills to throw more and possibly turn the ball over. I didn't see the second half, but apparently Joe looked a little uncomfortable? He looked really good in the first half though. Zuttah has been pretty lackluster for a while and Alex Lewis needs to grow up quick to keep Joe upright. I was surprised to see Pierce rotating in so early. It looked like almost every defensive player dressed had meaningful snaps. The D looked great but I don't think Tyrod is that good, so we'll see.

If that was Torrey, he would have ran straight down the field forcing Joe to throw it over the DB instead of drifting inside to make it an easy pitch and catch.

Now let's see the passing game open up.

I'd love to join in the excitement like we just signed 7 TDs to the roster but I don't think Hester will do much and he might not last half a season. Hopefully he does more but I just see him as a guy who won't fumble.

Well I'm sticking by my prediction, however little it might mean. I think the Ravens are significantly better than last year even before the rash of injuries. And I think Suggs comments to the press earlier this month show that he agrees.

I don't think Sitton is worth it. We don't have a hole at LG. Alex Lewis has been fantastic and we have two backups in Jensen and Urschel who are tremendous backups.

I think the Ravens are going to blow this one out. I can't remember a Ravens team being this strong in every phase of the game at once. Williams and Jernigan are monsters, Zadarius looks beastly and Jimmy looks like Jimmy again. That's on top of the additions of Weddle and Suggs. On the OL, Stanley/Lewis is an upgrade over last year's left side and Wagner is healthy. The run game looks great and the weapons in the passing game makes last year's look like practice squad players. This team is stacked.

Not very surprising, you have to contribute on special teams to make the roster as a bubble player. Some people on here don't understand that.
