  1. Crap, I'm up? I don't have a board set. All right, crappy pick a-comin.
  2. With the 281st pick in the Draft A Franchise draft, Salt with a side of Frech Fries selects: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, LT
  3. Except Melvin's 3 games came against poor competition. The Browns, Jags and Texans had 3 of the worst passing games in the league, so to extrapolate that wouldn't be as realistic.
  4. Maybe it's just me but I don't really thing Zuttah is that good. I think he might end up not being our starter by the end of the year. (Can't be naming names in this thread but you all should know who I mean could replace him.)
  5. C, CB, WR - Good job everyone! Please keep taking positions I already filled. This round has been good to me.
  6. Pick in, Sizz contacted.
  7. With the 232nd pick in the Draft a Franchise draft, Salt with a Side of French Fries selects: Kenny Stills, WR
  8. Someone must've gotten lippy after that first one.
  9. Yes, the bubble hasn't burst yet.
  10. Clearly destiny. I was really eyeing Golden Tate, who coincidentally would've also gone perfectly with my new theme. Good picks, everyone! Keep 'em coming!
  11. Thank you for getting it! Now comes the arduous task of re-naming my roster to all food-related names...
  12. With the 217th pick in the Draft a Franchise draft, the French Fries with a Side of Salt selects: Max Unger, C
  13. What the offense actually does is of little consequence. Guys like Brandon Graham are brought in as pass-rushing specialists. An offense might react to this by running run plays, but for PFF grading purposes, Graham is correct whenever he rushes the passer in this situation. They assume that he's fulfilling his responsibility. Therefore it's hard to give him a negative grade in these situations.
  14. This is where PFF fails. Most of their top rated OLB/DEs are always rotational players because they play on obvious downs with fresh legs. If you come in on 3rd and long all the time, you don't have to guess "run or pass", so you're almost never wrong. It's tough to get a negative grade as a pass rusher on that down. You also face an offense that's struggling: If it's 3rd and long, odds are the defense is doing something the offense doesn't have a beat on yet.
  15. The (Hijacked!) Salt with a Side of French Fries Offense: QB: Marcus "Marinara" Mariota RB: Lamar Miller Time FB: Bru-ski Miller WR1: T. "G.I.F." Y. Hilton WR2: Kenny Stills Hungry TE: Travis "Healthy" Kelce TE2: Mychal Rivera LT: D'Brickoven Ferguson LG: Justin Pugh! C: Max 'Unger RG: Kyle Long-ing RT: Donald Stephenson Defense: DE: Ja-Gravy-on Clowney DE: Quinton Coples (with hunger pains) DE: Jared Crick DT: Mike Devito NT: Glenn Dorsey LB: Sean "Sara Lee" Lee MLB: Shea "Butter" McClellan LB: Zach Brown Seconds-ary CB1: Patrick O'Peterson CB2: Prince Kahlua-mukamara CB3: Greg Toler CB4: Dontae Johnson FS: Kendrink Lewis SS: Willie Mo' (Guess what he wants more of. Probably food, right?) Special Teams: K: P: PR: Patrick Peterson
  16. With the 169th pick in the 2015 Draft a Franchise, the (My team's name) selects: Kyle Long, G
  17. Okay, Alaska! Alaska! is up. I guess see you guys tomorrow?
  18. With the 153rd pick in the 2015 Forum Mock draft, I don't know my team name selects: Travis Kelce, TE
  19. Ok, that's what I was wondering. I didn't know which one was the "official declaration".
  20. Ok, I'll take NebraskaRavensFan44's team and stick myself with stinky Mariota. I remember last year I got stuck with RGIII... How are we posting picks?
  21. All right, i'm in... for now. Who do I get?
  22. Funny how everyone says Elam, who started most games the past 2 years, but not Art Brown who hasn't even been active.
  23. I'm really tired of NFL players getting accused of crimes against women. I suppose either higher penalties lead to more crimes or some women see it as an opportunity to character-assassinate.
  24. By the end of this season, ignoring injuries and regardless of position I think the list will be: 1. Yanda 2. Flacco 3. Jimmy 4. Suggs 5. KO 6. Mosley 7. Webb 8. Tucker 9. Jernigan 10. Upshaw
  25. We've had just random FAs at TE for the last two years, and Pitta only started for maybe a year and a half and was good, not great. Before that? Ed Dickson and the trailing years of Heap. We haven't had a good, athletic tight end with Flacco before. Someone who is actually a "good matchup". I think Flacco is going to find life a lot easier with a real talent like Maxx. Something along the lines of "Holy crap, the guy I wanted to be open is actually open!".
