The Ravens biggest problem is they lost their winning identity. Currently, the Ravens are a SOFT football team. They traded toughness for finesse. Tough guys for wimps. It hurts to admit it.

    Top 10 indicators

    1. Your FB dives at LB ankles when lead blocking on the goal line. (Leach, O Neal, Gash would not ever do that)
    2. They pass the ball close to 65-70% of the time. Tough teams love to impose their will
    3. They dominate no one!
    4. Lack emotional leaders. No one looks pissed off after 3 straight losses. They are accepting losing.

    Where is the fire?

    5. In short yardage, they try tosses and trickery instead of hat on hat blocking.
    6. No Dawgs in the locker room.

Webb and J Smith (the 2 top paid DBs) automatically let Weddle be their leader before he made one play wearing purple and black

When Ray was younger, he didn’t let Woodson, Goose, McCrary or even Deon Sanders walk in the locker for him to follow.

    7. Ravens have a finesse approach to the offense line.

Ravens used to have guys like Zeus, JO, Mulitalo, Searcy, Birk, and even KO. Tough means guys that knocked people off the ball.

Over the pass few seasons, they have too many guys like Shipley, Monroe, Oher, and Hurst. Too many wimps on that offensive line.

Only Yanda is a PROVEN, consistent tough guy. They got math professors blocking for the $20M QB, and RBs

    8. No fear factor on defense. Lewis, Reed, JJ, McAlister, Goose, Herring, A. Thomas, Ngata, Pollard, Landry, B. Scott, Sharper, Hartwell, and C. Williams. The list could go on.

The Ravens use to have guys on defense that tried to knock people out or could make big plays. They were feisty, sometime knuckle headed, but intimidated people from being in the middle of the field.

Who scares you on defense? No one!

    9. The best players are over 30 years old and most were drafted by another team
    10. Soft players lack mental toughness and discipline

Soft players commit penalties because they are TOO WEAK to block so they hold,
TOO SLOW to keep up so they grab,
They DROP balls because they are more concerned with the hit than making the play
They attempt to tackle with their arms instead of giving up their body and wrapping people up.
They false start because the guy across from them has them scared and insecure

They need to get back to a hard-nosed, smash mouth, AFC North Football

This is real!!!! Take'em to church!!!!! I agree with this post. Too bad anyone that talked back got shipped out.

If the Ravens lose to the Jets with Geno Smith at Qb then this team has serious issues. I would'nt know what to say anymore about this team and that something needs to change. So l hope we win this game. This game should be winnable for Ravens.

Well they already announced Fitpatrick will start but if we could pick him off a few times could see Geno.

Just my philosophy, but a player on the bench is useless. Let him get his feet wet. Coaches determine ability and readiness based off practice and practice drill, when, in fact, some players are better game players. Put him in some downs and let him work. Too many times have we stuff players down the depth chart that we drafted and they go somewhere else and shine( ex: John Simon, LB, Texans). Better to see what he have now rather than later

The Jets blitzed constantly last night and they will do the same to the Ravens. It has been proven that Joe folds under pressure and I hope that the Ravens will have the right schemes in place to exploit those packages the way the Cardinals were able to exploit. The Jets defense was gassed in the end and Palmer picked them apart to close out the game. If the Ravens don't get up early and stay up, this game will go the same way the last 3 weeks have gone. Hopefully, the get some of the OL back, otherwise it will be a long day and we knowt that once Joe is rattled, the game is over. And, if they cannot muster a pass rush, the Jets have the receivers to take advantage of the time to get open. With the banged-up secondary, this could be a long game.

LOL not happening. We will be lucky to win.....with our secondary Fitzpatrick is gonna look like a pro bowler and rock star.

    its called the NFL draft

but we suck at that too

Exactly why we are where we are. Seems they draft to be considered "wizards" instead of taking the player there. I look at the 2014 draft and I want to cry with some of the first round players we could have snagged. Brought on by OBJ killing us today, I looked and it's sad. We are in serious trouble.

  6. The thing with the injuries is..........the Ravens have done a horrible job of scouting talented players. There are plenty of teams who have decent backups. Our backups consistently remind us why they are backups. They are just terrible. I get it when your best CB goes out but immediately give up yards in bunches is ridiculous...starter or not you are supposed to be a professional athlete who can compete. Just terrible.

    Dumb decisions

    Not taking points

    Clock Management

    Poor challenge record

    Down and Distance awareness

    High Penalty Count

    Inability to evaluate talent

    The "Doghouse"

Getting rid of or having a problem with "alpha male" players

    Poor coaching choices-firing 2 OC's in 4 years

All of these.............seems to have a very low football IQ.

Offensive playcalling was not as head scratching though it still had its moments.

Pees defensive style is still unclutch & massive 4th quarter fail.

I want to fault Harbaugh on going for it but I was 50/50 on it. One would believe that your defense can hold someone on their own 2 yd line. Of course, this is Pees' defense so yeah, that isn't going to happen.

Don't want to hear how we had guys out. So does every other team. Shoot, Giants were falling like flies today.

    Perriman is officially an issue.

Could have meant the season was officially over but I guess the Jets get to make that decision since everyone else in the division took a loss today.

Exactly which is reason alone to kick the FG. If anyone truly thought they were gonna stop them or get a safety..........you live in a much better world than the rest of us.
