  1. I like your optimism, but we would still be behind the Browns and Raiders due to head to head losses...unless there was a three way tie then the head to head goes out the window. And we still play the Jags and Chargers I believe. There is still slim hope, but nothing to indicate they will live up to that hope since every loss since our last win was hopeful too.
  2. He was aruging against that point. That was the point I was making.
  3. People that are refuting this are also using speculation.
  4. Yet that replaced talent took us to the promised land. The great replacements you point out haven't done much except help shatter all the franchises' records and streaks with mediocrity.
  5. After reading his entire IG post, I took it as him saying he couldnt go back to Panther nation the past is the past. He didnt shut the door on coming back next year so theres hope I think.
  6. I can buy into that......that was a problem for a good bit. We'd get up for the "high calibur teams" and the Jacksonville's would slip on in there on us (not last year but the primetime embarrassment a few seasons ago for example).
  7. Did not say he was tearing it up either. I said he had a 90 catch, 1,000 yard season after he got there. I didn't even address this abomination of a season.
  8. I'd suggest you prepare yourself lol. I definitely agree though...why hasn't Givens been used more. I know we are in a bad position where we are throwing newly acquired players out there but damn!
  9. Oooooops lol. Honestly I don't think anyone thought we were THAT bad. Then the 49ers came.
  10. And the 49ers are getting embarrassed on TNF. I know this isn't college football, but does that make our loss to them look worse?
  11. Joe's footwork has regressed. That is undeniable.
  12. Good thing Fantasy points are no real indication of winning or losing. I'm starting Palmer and their defense lol. But still rooting for my subpar Ravens of course.
  13. Go find a player's guide.
  14. You implied he wasn't doing anything.
  15. He's had a 90 catch, 1000 yard season there.........never topped 1,000 with us. Not tearing it up, but he's a special player still.
  16. Agree 100%. Boldin was a bad move period. The Smith move was a good business decision that just didn't work in our favor last week.
  17. "San Francisco Head Coach Jim Tomsula said the out-and-up route was something the 49ers drew up specifically for Smith." Hmmmm, could it be because they knew he'd be matched against Shareece Wright?????? lol man
  18. I don't know why, but the Ravens never seem to be able to finish a play on defense. They always have x amount of dropped or near INTs, missed fumble recoveries and that compounds all their problems.
  19. The choice to go often isn't the issue....it's the play that is called/executed that usually sucks.
  20. They may try to keep him as a successor to Belicheat too though.
  21. I can agree with this to a degree -- just not certain about McDaniels. But we definitely need a real offensive minded coach. That has ailed us for years. We see what we can do with a good offensive mind like Kubiak. I think that's Harb's downfall. He's not an offensive background coach so it is more difficult for him to fix those issues. He can get mad at the OC, lean on him, even fire them, but I doubt he's calling plays from the sideline. He's at their playcalling mercy largely.
  22. I AGREE with this assessment and always have. There was just no reason to bring it up until the 2013 season when he cleaned house of the aggressive players. The OP and this post is SPOT ON in my opinion.
  23. Oh yeah! This just looks like that undrafted FA gold we are used to! Ship will be righted! Yeah baby!
  24. Raiders game is also a particularly egregious phantom call at the end.
  25. We know the refs routinely screw the Ravens without a moment's hesitation so no surprise there. But Joe's bonehead moments are seriously costly. No veteran QB -- much less a SB MVP winning QB -- should make some of the mistakes he makes weekly. I genuinely don't get that. It makes it so much harder to stay in his corner when the criticism comes pouring in. And the back foot throws are atrocious.
