We were unbelievably lucky to get him in mid third. Found ourselves another one to light it up for 10+ years.
Yeah I see that. You know he just wants to go make the play. The boy is hungry as hell. Sometimes it bites him because he has such a great motor that he just lets it carry him away sometimes.
I think Suggs is gonna really take this guy under his wing and help make him something special. I look forward to a lot of "bicep bumps" between him and sizzle when they bookend a qb over and over

He generated some great pressure against germain ifedi last year for 4 quarters and escaped a good engagement to get the sack on a rollout with a great spin.
Its on draftbreakdown. That was all I could find as far as great tackles go

Side note: we really love drafting old guys for some reason. Read Bowser and Williams are already 24 years old. I seem to remember that we recently drafted a guy or two that were extremely old, also.
His run defense is highly underrated. He has shown some solid ability there when given the chance. He just was too valuable with fresh legs and Saban could afford to sit him on run downs.
and even if he never becomes a run defender, who cares lol. We drafted homeboy to get the qb, and he does that as well as anyone in the draft not named Myles Garrett.
Fun number, he had a sack for every 10-11 snaps over 2 seasons. That INCLUDES run snaps.
Just now, redrum52 said:Is that T any good?
Doesn't matter, he outweighs him by probably 40 pounds and he knocked him into next week with only his elbow.
Tim Williams is the steal of the draft
Just now, Davesta said:True. Then he follows that up by dropping a slant route or hitch.
Good with the bad. If perriman gets #1 or #2 snap count and makes plays at the same rate he did as the #4 then the good outweighs the bad by a ton.

But when he makes acrobatic spectacular catches and outruns entire teams you will be shouting his name
Perhaps we pull another campanaro trade for Isaiah Ford?
What in the name of Randy's cheeseburger gut we're we thinking passing on Ford.
Who the hell is chuck clark
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:He isn't slow and he has deceptive speed, but he isn't a great accelerator and he isn't blazing like a John Ross.
I'd say he's a deep threat.
I agree. I noted all this in the couple times I mocked him to us, but NFL.com scouting reports before he combine literally started with "one word comes to mind with Isaiah Ford... speed" and I was like lolwut.
2 minutes ago, ravensnation5220 said:I think teams view Isaiah Ford as a guy who cant beat press coverage because of his size. He also doesnt have great long speed
Long arms, lightning quick feet.
I don't see how he doesn't learn to beat press.
Just now, ravensnation5220 said:I think teams view Isaiah Ford as a guy who cant beat press coverage because of his size. He also doesnt have great long speed
I never understood why scouting reports all said he had this great deep speed and was a natural deep threat. I said day one he's gonna fall due to his lack of speed. The the combine came and he did fall because apparently nobody noticed he was slow on tape?
Just now, BmoreBird22 said:I don't think Ford should have gone before day three, but this long...?
You? Man I thought you were touting him as a third rounder. I was, sort of. I'm in between 3rd and 4th for him. I think he's a great route runner and catcher. Can't understand this right now
Just now, RaineV1 said:What's up with Isiah Ford? Did someone find a picture of him murdering a guy or something?
Murdered a woman wearing a gas mask bong on camera while under the influence of multiple pots apparently. And showed low effort.
The only reasonable explanation

Man I really liked him for us
1 minute ago, ravensnation5220 said:Nothing yet. Just the amount of available weapons we could be in play fir at 186
Oh yeah. I know man, I got a feeling we won't be impressed though...
Just now, ravensnation5220 said:I think we'll go with your guy
Told you we wouldn't.
I like the pick though. But unquestionably Ford could bring a bigger upgrade. He's a pro ready receiver with great routes and catch radius and natural hands, and does well on deep balls, with quick release ability.
Why is he still available and why wouldn't we take a wr who does exactly what we need? Smh.
Elemuenor is a great pick though
I get this strange feeling we go with a totally unknown small school guy here
Just now, ravensnation5220 said:Theres 2 guys I really like on the board at this spot.
Hint: one of them will make @JoeyFlex5 very happy
Very happy.
After we go ahead and pass on him id like to know who your guy is lol
5 minutes ago, HazDaGeneral said:yeah man lol thats my point exactly the ravens arent good at finding gem wrs later in rounds
But a lot of teams find them and the ravens are good at finding gems in general in later rounds. They absolutely could still find a gem at wr
1 minute ago, HazDaGeneral said:At this point it dont matter what or if any wr the ravens pickup do we really think they gonna be a difference maker????
Have you followed the draft closely before?

Is Isaiah Ford available?
4 hours ago, AsianRice said:good enough to stop NE ding dong against us?
Absolutely. We have the ideal defense for stopping the short pass. One thing Humphrey does well, is get downhill and absolutely lay the hammer on guys, jimmy does it well also, and with our safety tandem we have the support in place for it. Guys like Mosley, bowser, Jefferson, Judon, and urban are all great pass defenders in their own ways, they play close and some shallow drop really well to cut off hot reads, urban is a monster at getting tall and cluttering throwing lanes, judon does it well also.

With Judon, t will, and bowser, and hopefully an emergence of kaufusi, Humphrey doesn't have to do what he does worst, cover for a long time. He should get to come downhill early and often behind this front
