  1. They also had two kicks returned for TDs.

he also threw a pick 6 and then threw an overtime pick on their side of the field by breaking the cardinal rule of all qb's in nfl history.

the one year he did win the superbowl he actually performed pretty much below average and the colts defense somehow was freaking insane in that SB run.

peytons regular season accomplishments really need to start being overlooked a bit in favor of his postseason meltdowns

  2. Also, his only Touchdown from last year he out-jumped a guy that's a solid 1-2 inches taller than him.  Campanaro's vertical is not really an issue with him... it's pretty much all a question on if he can stay healthy or not.

this. campanaro 100% has the ability to be an elite possession guy, his LOOOONG injury history is the issue, and his frame not getting any bigger coupled with playing against tougher competition in the nfl doesnt help that.

  3. yeah i think bosa would have to have a disastrous season to fall anywhere out of the top 5. im more trying to discuss possible targets for us, thats why i posted a link to a guy projected right now to go late first early second. another sneaky need for us i think may be OL, we could really be looking into getting a LT or maybe even get a steal in the interior. im still torn as to whether mosley or zack martin wouldve been a better pick had he been there, not familiar with the 2016 linemen but i think ill have to look into it

  4. most of these speculations made by the websites reporters never come to fruition, i would love the signing though, we have a decent amount of cap space left, and it wouldnt count against the comp formula, and it fills a need with a solid, veteran player with loads of playoff experience, the absolute perfect signing for us, he also brings knowledge of the patriots which is always a plus. i have a feeling though that ozzie is looking for a cb to sign for less than 2mil this year and i think arrington would demand more

  5. Getting the jersey for the QB is the easy option and some like to go for the less obvious choice.

I own a Reebok Jarrett Johnson jersey. Planning to get a Brandon Williams jersey, the guy is a beast!

JJ is a classic, not many have it and it shows a unique appreciation for the team. im also considering williams or maybe jernigan. also if wagner comes back healthy and keeps it up as the best RT in the league i think that would be a unique jersey that id like to have.

  6. I want Flacco but there seems to be a curse when I buy jerseys.

I bought #52 before 2012 ---> he retires the after season

I bought #27 before 2013 ---> he has his worst year and...other things we won't get into

I bought #82 before 2014 ---> he has an underwhelming year and leaves in FA

The only jersey that hasn't been jinxed was my very first, good old dependable #20 that I bought back in 2010.

I want #5 but I'm afraid I'll curse him too.

i too curse players. i bought a ngata jersey the year before he started getting injured constantly, i bought a flacco jersey in the 2013 offseason, i bought an elam jersey before opening day last year.

maybe ill buy a really bad players jersey and have the opposite effect.

  7. Heavily disagree with this. Not because we should be favorites, but every year, Pittsburgh, Cinny, and us are way to close to call anyone a winner until week 17. That's not even to mention we went further in the playoffs than either one of them. Complete level playing field, except for Cleveland, in the division. Also won't call NE a gift win. Garoppolo just has to be a decent game manager and I think they could get by. Plenty of talent on that roster.

losing revis and brady makes their overall roster take a tumble, bad. i think they may get blown out in quite a few games, and if not then i think a qb controversy begins next offseason because that means garropolo can carry an average team

  8. Funny story about Oakman, I served in the military with his uncle on 2 tours of duty. This guy actually adopted Oakman after he was getting in too much trouble as a teenager. I said to his uncle what are you going to do when he hits the NFL? He said, I'm going to make him replace the couch he broke at the house! lol supposedly Mr Oakman decided to flop on the couch and destroyed it lol.

His uncle when we served, he was 41. 6'3 240lbs and was a monster in the gym. Genetics is definitely working for Oakman. There's an article on them just look up Kenneth Roberts and Shawn Oakman on Google. Good story!

thats an awesome story lol i never knew he was adopted

  9. Can't forget about him.

dad: shawn, have my daughter home by 10

shawn oakman: she stayin at my spot

dad: you right fam, my bad.

really though, shawn oakman could be the arik armstead of this class. plays too high, very heavy footed, bad first step, low flexibility, etc. etc.

i do like him more than armstead though, his athleticism appears much better and he plays more consistent and with more of a mean streak, a violent player, still incredibly raw and needs a ton of work. unfortunately though, if armstead goes in the top 20, then oakman probably goes top 10

  10. Derrick Henry

obvious one for me. he was my 2016 draft crush after his very first carry lol

    4-3 OLB

thats what it looked like on tape. i guess thats what i get for going to walterfootball to read the top prospects listing him as a 3-4 OLB, problem is there arent many "top" lists out there this early, and i gave walterfootball too much credit by not just assuming they were wrong lol

  11. Scooby Wright III.  LB Arizona st.

ya know... i see his sack numbers, and his TFL's and watched a bit of film on him...

idk if im going crazy or not, but it appears that he is an ILB on tape.. why am i seeing him listed as an OLB?

I really like Shilique Calhoun out of Michigan State - both as a prospect and as a need. He's got an incredible burst and he's well disciplined in the run game. He holds his area well and doesn't do anything stupid like whacking people over the head or hitting them out of bounds after a chase. He could use a few other moves but I like what he's already shown and there's no reason he couldn't improve. I really like him as a Robert Mathis type in a 3-4.

And yes, I did like him before OLB became our big need. ^_^

i looked into calhoun and i wasnt overly impressed, he seems to be the last one off the snap quite often, snap anticipation is a huge thing for me and i love floyds anticipation, and his burst compliments that anticipation very well, calhoun is definitely solid, i see him as more the pro ready guy and floyd having a higher ceiling

  12. I've copped a bit of heat for saying I think he could be just as good as Joe if he had our OL - then chuck in Kubiak and a deeper receiving group. He's obviously not as good at the deep stuff, but give him a decent line and a timing-based system and there's no reason he couldn't win a Lombardi himself imo. He helped Harry Douglas of all people get to 1000 yards.

I'd have taken him over Ben tbh.

ben in 08 was the single most incredible qb performance ive ever seen and i maintain that to this day, his sb run was the most frustrating, irritating, infuriating, and damned impressive thing ive ever seen(the first 3 because im a ravens fan) and i actually would rank his sb run that year above joes sb run.

and even in 2015 id still take ben over ryan without question, he has the it factor that ryan has seemed to lack so far, and ben also has had dumpster fires for an OL for most of his career and his wr corps havent been half of what ryans have been.

  13. Just kidding, its never too early, because its still the offseason and we still dont have enough to talk about.

now lets get to it! many said OLB was a top priority in this draft, i wasnt buying it, i couldnt think of any real value unless dupree fell to our first pick, the ZD smith pick was an excellent step in the right direction but i think we still have work to do in that department because our pass rush could fall off at any moment. one of my favorite guys so far is Leonard Floyd from georgia.

you can see in this video(film, not highlights) that he is explosive and versatile, his primary role is pass rushing, and he doesnt excel in the other roles but he appears serviceable and with a stellar supporting cast like we have here in baltimore, he could be a great addition. he shows a few struggles in this film, he needs to add some weight and that is apparent here, but even with his missed plays i see immense talent and a very high ceiling, and at the very least i think he becomes one hell of a speed rusher. the snap anticipation and awareness looks good, and with another 10 lbs of muscle he is a perfect fit, he has the repertoire of pass rush moves, he can penetrate well, turn the corner, is flexible, great hand work, and he makes things happens all across the front seven, excellent stunt guy and would find himself right at home in our exotic blitz packages.
