  1. in the 3rd round, would you take ekpre-olomu, or steve nelson? i was on nelsons bandwagon but olomu's athleticism and playmaking potential is intriguing to say the least, especially in the 3rd round.

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

olomu's even shorter and hes very lightweight, the athleticism and general cover skills are undeniable, but i am certainly worried about him getting outmuscled at the nfl level, i know he can run with just about any receiver you can name, and he has the leaping and ball skills to make the play, but im concerned with receivers just boxing him out, that is something that nelson just doesnt allow. also nelsons press ability could make him a great addition for our pass rush that may take a li...

Value kinda drops in the 3rd. Ozzie loves getting guys who fall as well and Ifo is one of those guys, tbh I'd go Ifo only because he's tech savy, he could be very useful against guys like Edelmen.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

but then again nelsons strength and press skills would keep those quick release targets in check and allow our pass rush to get there, preventing a guy like edelman from breaking open in his route causes brady to hold the ball and go through other progressions.

  2. john elway has probably bypassed the irsays in terms of hatred in baltimore. why does this team always have some huge problem to deal with and massive turnover every year? im sick of it. now hes gonna clean out the offensive coaching staff and we are gonna have to start from scratch.

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

agreed, the rest of baltimore might feel differently lol

    2. PurpleCity5

      PurpleCity5

I personally believe that we should feel that it worked out for the best! It brought the best franchise in Football to Baltimore! Screw the Colts! RavensNation!

The best team no matter what happens is US. We are the loyal ones. Disarray and confusion happens North on I-95 Their radio stations are limited, their jocks and fan base are typically boring.

  3. just saw the williams and jernigan video... brandon williams just cant be human.

    1. Sami84

      Sami84

I'd like him to get at 4-6 sacks this year...too strong to only have 1.5 in his career so far.

    2. Tank 92

      Tank 92

BW is a superbeast! can't wait to see him destroying the core of opposing offenses.

  4. just watched jason lacanforas interview with ryan mink. im so glad that he made it big, he is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and logical reporters out there, and he comes from the maryland area so we finally have some representation. while analysts talk cluelessly about the ravens, la canfora is there to clear the air and put the FACTS out there.

  5. just wrote up a full mock draft and didnt even post it because i feel like ive posted too many of them already. the draft is just too far away.

      JoeyFlex5

      thats too far lmao

  6. kubiak, please dont leave for denver. this team will be a contender for years and denver has 1 year of regular season dominance followed by playoff choking left in them, once peyton retires that team will be far worse than any texans team you coached.

if elway cons him into leaving with false promises of winning and consistency.. he will be up there with the irsay family in terms of baltimore hatred

  7. kyle arrington is a raven. jesus god almighty ozzie is the greatest to ever do it. didnt budge in the free agent frenzy, didnt budge on his draft board, and then got the absolute PERFECT fit for our situation without counting against the comp picks. dudes got a crystal ball

    1. NebraskaRavensFan44
    2. RavensFanMania

      RavensFanMania

Crystal ball is a pretty good way at describing it. He's absolutely amazing, but lets not give him all the credit. Eric DeCosta and the rest of the staff are amazing as well.

  8. man, we can say all we want about torrey's inconsistencies or whatever, but he has been a huge part of our history as a franchise, and he is one of the true good guys of the league, youll be missed torrey. the business side of this sucks.

    1. TDubbs

      TDubbs

Hes a true professional in every sense of the word. I'am happy for him, and his family ... Cant fault him for trying to get as much $$ as he can while he can.

    2. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

the contract after the rookie deal is an NFL players pay day, not getting the most you can out of that contract could cripple a persons financial situation for the rest of their life. cutthroat business unfortunately.

  9. mayocks word is generally pretty respected, but have you seen his new rankings? alot of it is questionable at best, some of it is downright headscratching like armstead over brown and collins over peters and breshad perriman over agholor/dorsett/smith/strong. he must be obsessed with raw project players all of a sudden

    1. RavensFanMania

      RavensFanMania

He also has Mariota over Winston. Now I'm not a fan of either QB, but I'm just not a fan of Mariota. Not sure if he can transition to a pro style offense. I tend to like Mayock over Kiper and McShay, but that's really not a stretch I always watch the draft on NFL Network.

    2. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

I agree with Raine, the first two are head scratching but Perriman over those other receiver isn't very shocking. While i don't agree with it, i can certainly admit out of those receivers he may have the highest ceiling

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

perriman over strong is understandable because of his quick twitch ability to gain separation, and really the only thing he has over devin smith is a larger body of work and some better YAC, i dont understand him being ranked ahead of dorsett and agholor though, to me they are without question FAR superior to perriman

  10. mcphee just literally got tackled as soon as the ball was snapped. didnt know that was legal blocking procedure

    1. beasy2487

      beasy2487

He was blatantly held for the entire second half of the the Chargers game as well. Not a big enough name to get those calls just yet.

  11. More dropped passes! I generally back up Ozzie but man i did not want perriman. Oh well at least we didn't take Landon Collins. Really wanted Malcolm brown tho, I can't believe he's still on the board

    1. Orange_Peanut

      Orange_Peanut

Finally everyone can shut up about Ozzie being scared of drafting WR in the first round. Still, I'm very disappointed with this pick.

    2. glen ferguson

      glen ferguson

This is a great pick.Alot of upside, welcome to training camp. Now go catch ball from that jug machine.

    3. redrum52

      redrum52

From what I've seen he at least catches with his hands. He attacks the ball with his hands instead of waiting for the ball to come to him. If nothing else, the defense will at least fear his speed early on.

  12. my elam jersey didnt make it in time, so im stuck with a T shirt in myrtle beach for the preseason opener. talking to local panthers fans ive noticed theyre pretty salty about smitty being on another team lolololol

haha yea i was downing them at a dangerous pace, and it turns out backfinz closed down last summer, i called the backfinz in wake forest by accident because i was driving everywhere trying to find it and they told me

  13. new Better Call Saul trailer shows how Saul met Mike, february cant come soon enough, and im not talking about the super bowl. #BetterCallSaul

  14. nfl.com has a bracket tournament of the greatest game of all time. mile high miracle isnt on there but the 2000 MNF between the jets and dolphins is. "so kewl a olineman caught a td pass in overtime in a game between 2 mediocre teams" smh

How about the 1958 Championship game between the Colts and the Giants which was the first one to go into OT, is that up there too or is just recent games?

    3. TDubbs

      TDubbs

The 'Mile High Miracle' game could arguably be the best game ever, imo.

    4. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

mile high miracle certainly is easily in the conversation for greatest football game ever played, without question. and yea the 58 ship is on there. it literally seems every "great" team has about 3 or 4 games each. its filled with raiders, niners, miami, giants, steelers, pats, and colts, everything else is an afterthought

  17. Ok, I am more about. Trade back rather than a trade up, but if Dupree makes it to Phillis pick at 20th we gotta trade up, I didn't expect him to fall this far

  18. Okay draft geeks, time for all of our discussions from the past 3 months to make themselves completely moot!

      polynesian15

At what time does it start?

  19. one of 2 things that couldnt happen to this or else we would be screwed... happened. i hope kubiak can SERIOUSLY dial up that run game and our defense can keep a lead, because with james hurst at LT our passing game doesnt stand a chance, especially with no pitta.

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

well pardon me, i didnt pay as much attention in the preseason as i usually do so i didnt see it first hand, but i didnt hear very good things on these boards about hurst. and my comment on the run game wasnt about hursts run blocking ability, it was more about how dominant our right side has been and how important it is for kubiak to play to that strength

    2. MissRay27

      MissRay27

Give the young man a chance. He may surprise us and hold his own.

    3. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Hurst actually played well as a pass blocker and steadily improved in each and every game. As a run blocker.... well... he's a body
