  1. I won't be surprised if Ozzie decides to go DT in the first. Macolm Brown could be there or Eddie Goldman and both are fantastic players that would fit very well in our defense.

malcolm brown has REALLY grown on me, i like the idea of him playing with williams an jernigan a lot. that is a big, strong, hard hitting, athletic, ferocious, mean, and nasty front 3, it would be the most feared combination of 3 players in the league

  2. isn't it time to not be known for just defense? don't get me wrong Ravens defense is essentially the only old school and real football played anymore but I'm tired of Pats and Broncos etc. to be considered shoe-ins for the super bowl based off of QB and offense. Lets balance our defense with offense. aka Ozzie please draft a WR *not Devin Smith* and a TE

drafting malcolm brown(if he falls) or eddie goldman at 26th would give us the most formidable front seven in the league, there would be absolutely no weaknesses to it. drafting a guy like marcus peters would allow for our already strong front seven to play in tandem with the secondary and force turnovers all day long. i still think offense needs to be addressed though, i just dont see value at wr in the first round.

  4. i am convinced dorsett is the best wr option for this team. a trade up for him in the 2nd would be worth it even if we had to give up our 3rd for it.

if it means getting dorsett then i dont think were losing value at all. like i said i think getting dorsett in the early 2nd will have a much better impact than whoever we would get in the 2nd+3rd. wr needs to be addressed in the draft more than any other position and it isnt even close, we wont have a shot at doing that by picking at the tail end of every round, and after the mid 2nd the talent gets thin at wr, while there is good depth at many other positions such as cb and dl.

theres a steep drop off from early 2nd round to late 2nd round though, we would be ultimately losing value by staying put in the 2nd i believe, unless someone is falling ridiculously far

finding a trade back partner seems like it would be much harder than finding one to trade up with in the 2nd

weighing the benefits, i think it would be the best move, the dude just brings SO much to the table, and his natural ability to beat coverage deep is certainly something the ravens do well with, difference between him and all the other burners is that he is a well rounded player. with all the picks we have in the 4th round, i would totally be willing to give up a 3rd.

  8. WalterFootball.com Mock Draft is probably my favorite right now to be honest. But they shifted away from Ozzie loving his precious Defense. They went offense in the first 3 rounds.

  11. After years on this board, I'm going to retire from the forums. Have fun with the Draft and the 2015 season.

  12. Would the Ravens trade up for a receiver? if so, who?

i dont see us trading up for a wr unless parker falls really far, i mean like the 18-20 range, which is unlikely

  19. I am starting to get a little impatient and annoyed with the front office because I know Ozzie is a great GM and all, but they have had several opportunities to sign some quality defensive players and are letting them go to division rivals (Tramon Williams) I just want them to fill defensive holes and draft offense. I don't want to anticipate the draft and then have them take a pass rusher or DL or CB in the first round when they could have filled these holes better in FA. We need playmak...

i think if we pick at 26th, its gonna come down to a few players, peters, strong, gordon, or gurley.

i just cant envision any other defensive prospect being at the top of their board at 26th except for peters.

  21. Chris Borland is retiring! So shocking and sad, he seemed to have a bright future ahead. And the 49ers have a huge problem and need defense bad. Probably takes them out of the running for a receiver in the first. I wonder if they might try to trade for Arthur Brown.. Any thoughts?

and wr and cb are both better off being addressed in the draft. TE is the one position i really wish we would address before the draft comes
