undoubtedly barnett. ill pass on nearly any rb at 16, and cook has a laundry list of knucklehead incidents off the field including DV

  2. Will Perriman change his number? Kinda like him in #18 though

he wore 81 and 11 in college. he doesnt strike me as the type to worry about a number change. i hope he keeps 18, its a good look.

  3. Who remembers the days when Billy Bajema was our depth at tight end? Now we have like 5 quality guys. I kind of miss Bajema though.

i think the plan was to never, ever let that happen again, at all costs, as you can see from our attention to the position in the past 3-4 years

  4. What is everyone's opinion on Marlon Humphrey as our pick? Is he overrated because he plays for 'Bama or is he a potential lockdown corner?

      JoeyFlex5

what bird said. hes not overrated because of his team, he may be overrated because he really needs to learn how to use that speed and fluidity to pursue his man downfield better, and he needs to learn how to turn his head to play the ball. but when hes allowed to play downhill hes about as good as anyone in the class. if he doesnt succeed as a corner i think he has a bright future as a safety

"i didnt say it, i declared it"

  6. Watching Bortles last Sunday and Tannehill tonight makes me realize how spoiled we are with Flacco.I'd like for to improve his flaws just as every other Ravens fan would, but it could be alot worse.I couldn't imagine having my teams SB hopes rest on the shoulders of some of these guys like Bortles,Tannehill,Dalton,Stafford and Alex Smith. They're the ultimate tease. So close yet so far away.

i think most people who bash flacco at every turn legitimately dont watch football. i cant imagine a ravens fan who actually thinks flacco is a bad qb has ever watched football for more than 4 hours a week when the ravens are playing. if you watch entire games league wide, youll see that no qb is even close to perfect and not many do as well as flacco and especially in big moments. weve all seen tom brady play REALLY bad at times, aaron rodgers has had some very ugly games, peyton manning was abysmal in nearly every playoff game he ever played, look at what roethlisberger did vs philly and realize hes good for about 4 or 5 of those games every year.

  7. I'm SO SICK AND TIRED of hearing about the cowboys non stop whenever I warch an NFL show.Who cares about a team that goes 4-12 or 6-10 every year? It's like being forced to hear about the browns. How are people so entertained by the storylines of such a horrible team? *rant over*

its always been bad, but its ridiculous this year, like completely ridiculous. theyre now making it beyond obvious that they favor certain teams in the media, they are really shoving them down our throats

  8. I am concerned about Flacco wearing a brace all season. Last time I saw him wear a brace, he was like a statue. :(

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

last time he wore a brace he had a knee 1 week removed from an injury and likely was full of fluid and felt like it could buckle any moment. ive suffered a repeatedly torn MCL over the past 5 years and i know the feeling. this is different.

  9. Preseason or not, Peas has to go.

  10. That Washington team is abominable! RGIII was getting slammed and they left him in there to take the shots! In Preseason! Now he is injured. Grrrrrr!

@veiled he would have some incredible potential with the eagles, but at the same time he may not be able to pull it off, his football iq doesnt seem to be all there

im not sure any team in the league has the stones to pick a fight with us

  12. The funny habit where I start refreshing the Ravens page every workday at 3pm CET to see whether Late for Work article is out yet. I'll easily admit to that being my favorite feature.

when its not posted to the site after 10:0.. dare i say... the writers are... late for work?

  13. Torrey and Anquan won Super Bowls with us and are now stuck on a team with poor management, constant bad decisions and looks like they will face a losing season ahead. They deserve so much better.

i dont have much love for boldin after that classless and desperate money grab. i still got love for torrey, but he boned us on that play by completely giving up and cost us a trip to the AFCCG and then ditched us for a small difference of money, and after CA income tax, he actually makes less than what he wouldve gotten by taking our deal. so yeah i feel they just chased a couple extra pennies and said to hell with baltimore

and then torrey turned down respectable contract offers twice, he bet on himself once, lost, and then turned down our next contract offer which supposedly was basically the same as the first one offered, and he turned that one down, for an extra 500k over 4 years in SF. they did it to themselves.

they turned us down. boldin knew he was overpaid and needed to take a reduced extension, he didnt, and after he lied to the fanbase about retiring a raven to try to snake a deal out of us

  16. Steelers just pulled off a hell of a deal... Why must they always do this to me?

we all like to bash sami, but hes right on this one. boykin is the best slot corner in the league, and he certainly can stay on the field more than webb can

  17. Harvard released a new study that says the Seahawks will face.... The Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl 50. Yet they give us 9% chance of making the playoffs? Everyone at Harvard needs to be drug tested ASAP.

  18. when steve smith retires, and if camp/waller/carter all make the roster, then our wr corps numbers would be: 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18.

nahh lol it just crossed my mind as randomly as ever that steve smith is the only wr with a chance to make the roster, with a number in the 80's.

i just saw one of those in the aquarium the other day and the guy was telling us that if you were to ever get one as a pet, you would need an acrylic tank because it could break right through a half inch of glass

  22. i cringed watching that OTA video of jimmy smith.. he practically runs on his toes, how someone can suffer a lisfranc injury, have it surgically repaired, and ever have the stomach to perform on it like that in less thana year, is beyond me.

      JoeyFlex5

he looked like a machine out there, now we just need to hope wagner can recover like that from th same injury. when i get a slight strain in the arch in my foot i start asking for a wheelchair lmao i cant even fathom doing what these guys do
