  1. I wish we signed Robert woods man. He would've been perfect for what we need
  2. By the way @BOLDnPurPnBlacK I made an account to reflect this one a little more so people aren't confused. Still pending though
  3. Derrick mason called flacco "joey flex" in a spoof training camp interview his rookie year. My names not even joe... lol
  4. Yea, good call on offense.
  5. That came to mind immediately after I pressed send on that post lol
  6. McPhee was an excellent rusher and not much of a coverage guy, and putting Judon in the upshaw role is really selling short his pass rush ability which is probably his best asset. They're similar in that they play with strong heavy hands and get physical, but Judon has much better first step, closing speed, and bend. If we wanna use past ravens, I'd say bowser is a Jamie sharper role, Judon is waiting to step in for Suggs as the guy who brings a smart and physical approach to the pass rush while being an A1 run defender, Tim Williams I'd say you're correct that he's a doom/boulware role bringing an outside speed rush from LB and DE.
  7. I don't think they factored in the incident whatsoever. I really don't. If he had a clean track record then he should go in the early second based on talent alone, but with these obvious disgusting character concerns he should go no earlier than the 5th but the bengals did not care even a little. It's almost like it motivated them to pick him, like they want horrible people to play for them and want to piss off the world by giving millions to ruthless woman beaters
  8. After thinking over the pick for a few days, it becomes even more despicable. It's like they did it just to be disgusting. Talent alone, mixon was a second rounder at best, so it's not like they were getting some big steal. If he was a fournette type of talent then it's another story, but he's not. So it's like they completely ignored the situation, he didn't fall on their boards at all because of this. And then they don't even need a RB.
  9. No matter what you may think, at least we don't have the bengals FO. I am legitimately shocked they haven't tried to get Greg hardy back in the league.
  10. I haven't wanted this name for a while though lol. Most people don't even get the reference and it comes off kinda lame.
  11. A lot of people on these boards wanted Byron jones a few years back. So I have to ask... what made Byron jones look like a superior prospect? They were really similar, long, uber athletic, looks the part of multiple positions, and raw. Byron jones didn't have clear first round tape, they took him based on future projections. We did the same with a similar player
  12. I'm about to start adapting myself to it now. Posting under the name "Comprehensuv"
  13. I have liked Tim Williams as a person since the first time I saw his interviews. I don't think he has legit concerns, he really seems to have a good head on his shoulders. And he's got this respectably humble but quiet and strong confident demeanor going on.
  14. I'm seriously gonna miss this every year. It is my favorite waste of time and now it's gonna be gone
  15. Lots of lean quick twitch muscle as well
  16. Humphrey - best in class in top-down coverage. Big struggles in downfield coverage. Commits too early and gets burned at times from it. Footwork could be better. Struggles to locate the ball. Ferocious hitter, physical press guy and with more consistent handwork he could jam guys right into the bench. Closes in on the pass like a bat outta hell and brings the heat to let the receiver know he's there. Gets off blocks like a linebacker for blitzing and blowing up screens Bowser - natural LB, covers well with great athleticism and instincts, incredible awareness in zone coverage, feels the traffic behind him without seeing it and keeps eyes on the qb without losing his man/men. Great first step in the rush, good shoulder dip to get low and bend the edge when given the opportunity, but won't create many opportunities for himself. Needs to bulk up and maintain burst to rush the passer And work on his hands. Wormley - behemoth who surprises the hell out of you with athleticism from time to time. He doesn't always seem to have it but sometimes he will break off a lightning fast counter move and leave the tackle hugging ghosts, doesn't play as strong as his size would suggest but plays a good bit more athletic than his size suggests. Would like to see him play lower and generate more push from his hips, would like to see him use his hands better to disengage, a man that big shouldn't be relying on quick footwork counter moves to disengage every time. Day one starter at 5T, seeing Lawrence guy comps but im not buying it, I see more of a poor mans cam heyward. Tim Williams - first step is out of this world, after the jump he eats up space super fast. Multitude of disengage moves, most notably his vicious spin, he drags the tackle, plants his foot and completely counters back upfield throwing his arms wide and violently to totally break free of the tackles arms. Powerful and violent hands, brings the pain to both the qb and the tackle despite being 10lbs less than ideal weight. Motor through the roof. Intense and passionate alpha male type player. Does a great job flattening the edge, gets a step and then dips that inside shoulder and throws it into the tackle keeping him staggered. Makes good reads and angles against the run but often gets too excited and fails to finish the play. Needs to set the edge more often there rather than penetrate. got nothing on the other guys
  17. Now I could be wrong, and maybe he's permanently looking toasted as all hell, but as a pretty experienced former stoner, and considering the crowd I hung out with when I was younger, I think I have a really good eye for when someone is high and what they're high on lol. And I think Gregory was totally smacked at his own draft
  18. Exactly. He was completely geeked when they interviewed him after they called his name. Eyes bloodshot and glazed over, words slurred, acting totally geeked up and struggling to string together more than 3 words. I had no doubts he was gonna be a complete failure
  19. Gregory was high at the draft man. There's no off button for homeboy
  20. Truly surprised carraway got drafted
  21. With Judon, t will, and bowser, and hopefully an emergence of kaufusi, Humphrey doesn't have to do what he does worst, cover for a long time. He should get to come downhill early and often behind this front
  22. Yeah I see that. You know he just wants to go make the play. The boy is hungry as hell. Sometimes it bites him because he has such a great motor that he just lets it carry him away sometimes. I think Suggs is gonna really take this guy under his wing and help make him something special. I look forward to a lot of "bicep bumps" between him and sizzle when they bookend a qb over and over
  23. He generated some great pressure against germain ifedi last year for 4 quarters and escaped a good engagement to get the sack on a rollout with a great spin. Its on draftbreakdown. That was all I could find as far as great tackles go
  24. His run defense is highly underrated. He has shown some solid ability there when given the chance. He just was too valuable with fresh legs and Saban could afford to sit him on run downs. and even if he never becomes a run defender, who cares lol. We drafted homeboy to get the qb, and he does that as well as anyone in the draft not named Myles Garrett. Fun number, he had a sack for every 10-11 snaps over 2 seasons. That INCLUDES run snaps.
