  1. i left him out on purpose, just cuz he was picked in the 4th doesnt mean hes safe, if the big jump in competition level is too much for him then he could definitely find himself in depth chart purgatory for a year, not everyone is like brandon williams or webb meaning they can come from a no name school to the NFL with no problems. plus after hearing reports of how raw he is, im not sure harbs wants to field a guy who isnt ready to play, an inexperienced db can be one of the biggest liabilities youll ever find on a nfl team
  2. QB(2): flacco, schaub RB(3): forsett, buck, talliaferro WR(6): smith, perriman, brown, aiken, campanaro(health willing), carter(for KR) OL(9)(due to having swing guys i list the whole group): monroe, wagner, yanda, KO, zuttah, urschel, hurst, myers, jensen TE(3): williams, gilmore, boyle FB(1): juice (24 offense) DL(8): jernigan, williams, canty, davis, urban, KLM, guy, tyson OLB(4): suggs, doom, upshaw, smith ILB(4): mosley, smith, brown, orr DB(10): hill, lewis, elam, smith, webb, melvin, arrington, jackson, levine, trawick (26 defense) ST(3): tucker, koch, cox really wanna put waller on here but if i place him over carter than we have no real KR options, although waller could make an elite gunner and exterior blocker.
  3. i havent been to any but my list of games iw ould like to see: -playoff game in foxboro, would love to see tens of thousands of arrogant pats fan groaning in misery as our "inferior" team crushes their SB hopes -any game in miami, obviously its in miami, and ravens fans flood that stadium making it pretty much a home game, seems like it would be a nice sight and a fun time -any game in SF or OAK, would get to see people get stabbed and bottles busted over heads. -any game in seattle, that is just one awesome stadium and id love to see the energy sucked out of that place when we upset them
  4. i know, i thought he just fell off everyones radar lol
  5. ludy i hate you, that was the next guy on my board and i thought he was gonna fall
  6. who has a breakout season? im gonna guess every single player on the last year of their rookie deal, off the top of the head idk who that includes, but im guessing upshaw miraculously gets double digit sacks and KO miraculously stays healthy and then they go on to get market value contracts with horrible teams.
  7. without question, that rivalry has been far above the steelers rivalry since 2011 as far as im concerned.
  8. i understand this also, and ive kept all this in mind, but when you watch these rookie minicamp videos, he looks different from the rest of the H/W/S/no-hands project receivers weve drafted, he has the full frame to handle the nfl and isnt just a 6'6" rail, he has good hands and good ball skills overall while the others were pure body catchers who dropped everything thrown their way, and among all this he looks like he moves really well for his size, which had me shocked honestly.
  9. i havent name dropped once until that, and i dont think that specific namedrop will be giving anyone any ideas lol
  10. i guess ill never get a qb, but at this rate i could start geno smith and you wouldnt even notice, jamaal charles + zack martin = ggwpgetrektm8
  11. i dont think rappers count lmao
  12. yea i would go as far to say this.. i think martin will be the best OL in the league, and currently is the best interior lineman in the league. he seriously reminds me of marshal yanda except i think he will turn out better at both T and G, hard thing to say, and its a bold statement, but i really think martin is a generational talent.
  13. somehow i overlooked russell wilsons name after reading over the big board 3 times. i thought it was odd that he was still available.. only to see he was taken at #3, howd i miss it? idk...
  14. with the 72nd pick, the joe flex zone selects: zack martin, any OL position you want.
  15. i gotchu b, I'll draft Elam for you.
  16. Wanna mass pm bread again?
  17. i took a defender at 8th overall for this reason.
  18. lets all pm him, every single one of us
  19. i think people may be putting too much stock into maxx williams. i am ecstatic about the pick and i think he'll become a top flight pro bowl TE, but he doesnt have the luxury of great speed or size to give him something to lean on while he adjusts to the pro game mentally and technically. i think he has about 30-35 catches as a rookie and ill give him 4 td's, and i think he makes a major leap in year 2 doubling his production. TE is a tough position to learn in the nfl
  20. nahh. i thought charles was a steal this late. i had a wr in mind and i think my qb might still be there for my next pick. i still got a few qb's i would consider serviceable on the right team
  21. with the 57th pick, the joe flex zone selects: ja-ballin charles
  22. im torn. BPA or settle for a qb.. hmm
  23. on paper we look better than what we ended with last season. someone above me said we look to be built for consistency rather than single season dominance, ill agree with that 100%. as long as we keep joe flacco on his feet, dont turn the ball over, and play strong in the trenches, we will make the playoffs, over and over, and in any given postseason we can get hot, and we all know that when the ravens get hot in january we are as dangerous a team as anyone else. a healthy ravens team will make the playoffs with middle of the pack stats, but all it takes is a spark in chemistry between the right couple of players and suddenly we are looking at a chance at a SB appearance, this year is no different than the rest of them. TLDR; yes we are a top tier team, simply because the rest of the league shudders at the thought of facing us in january even with a injury riddled roster, with a healthy roster we will be the most feared team in the playoffs.
  24. a typical kool aid drinker.. not really, i just know for a fact, that we had issues on this team, and we did a hell of a job addressing them, are you saying we didnt? look you can call every signing or draft pick a bad one, doesnt mean you can say "i told ya so" when a few of them actually turn out to be bad. ozzie stuck to his formula, which has turned this team into a perennial powerhouse for the past 7 seasons with 1 blemish in that long span, and what he has done this offseason looks like some of his best work to date, and you are sitting here telling people that they shouldnt be excited because you personally think kyle arrington doesnt offer enough. the kyle arrington signing alone doesnt boost this team, the entire offseason we've had gives a very positive outlook, you just refuse to acknowledge it
  25. i saw the post, i understood what it was about, i think its pretty obvious nobody here is declaring that its a 100% chance that we win the super bowl purely because we signed kyle arrington, maybe you shouldnt take things so literally. and by the way, i dont know how this is an average signing, ozzie showed patience because he didnt see value in free agency or in the draft, and while the fanbase was howling for a cb, he didnt budge, and then found a solid veteran slot corner who can come in and contribute in a big way for cheap and not counting against the comp pick formula, so exactly how average is this pick? you must be sami84 on another account, your pessimism is unreal, its not even pessimism, its just naysaying a good signing for the hell of it.
