  1. Dead serious. On paper they have a top 3 OL. They have a great HC. A gm who has been killing it. A ton of high picks in the coming years. And cap space. That OL and the space/currency to add stars will go a long way. Trubisky has pro tools, and putting him behind that line AND fournette behind that line... trubisky will only throw when he has to, at which point he's got barnidge and Coco against a stacked box with time to throw. Thats a hell of a foundation for a rebuild and you're flat out in denial if you don't believe so lol
  2. And man I would flip for this draft. I think williams goes early second but if we landed the 2 williams to start out and then got kpassagnon and Witherspoon in the third.. wow. And then Morgan and decoudwould be great values there
  3. Everyone says Cleveland taking trubisky over Garrett would be dumb, but if they landed him and fournette... ugh. Look out afc north, with that line and hue Jackson on developing trubisky it would be a matter of time before they're winning the division
  4. He could be there but my guess is someone takes a flier. Doesn't mean I'd want the ravens to. I like him and his upside is ridiculous but I can't pound the table for such an unfinished product
  5. I might be his biggest fan around here but I wouldn't take him in the second. 2 straight years of a project in the second round is too risky, and he's definitely a project
  6. Kubiak earned forsetts paycheck. RB costs less than a DB 9 times out of 10. Webb earned a decent final contract after playing a solid season at safety last year. Webb will be better depth/role player than Forsett was a starter
  7. His middle name is Vincent and he's from jersey... always assumed he was Italian lol
  8. Honestly I don't think Davis is viewed as highly by teams as he is by fans and media.
  9. Good. He's a special talent and it's up to the ravens to do everything in their power to gauge his character and commitment
  10. This isn't about who we're drafting.
  11. I personally see him as a mid 3rd guy but I could understand why he goes second. He's got big play threat written all over him
  12. They're taking Garrett lol they're dangling trubisky in front of the bears seeing if they can move back for a second probably. At which point they probably take Jamal Adams or Malik hooker because their secondary is atrocious. just a guess though, with the way they've been wheeling and dealing on the boards I highly doubt they're gonna go with the non value pick, and it seems like a classic trade bait scenario which seems to be their forte lately
  13. If I saw this early enough I would've just spoken on your behalf @allblackraven and just concur for you since I assumed you liked Stewart as well lol
  14. Would hate for us to pick taco... wouldnt be surprised a bit though
  15. That feels like a bit of a lazy comp to me, no offense. Oakman played heavy footed, upright, slow handed, and made zero effort at using any kind of technique. Kpassagnon, while very raw, is light years ahead of him imo. His hand usage and bend and leverage are way better
  16. I'll throw kpassagnon in there too. With the right DL coach he could be an absolute monster
  17. Deal. Myles Garrett is a bust. Let the laughs ensue
  18. Nope. Boards will be riperino
  19. Where's the fun in that though? I'm standing firm and saying Peyton manning will make the HOF first ballot duh
  20. Ahh I see. But Like I said in the op it's not really about the ravens, just players that you wanna basically put a stamp of approval on and firmly say you think they'll be a good player. Bakers a guy I really like and think he's gonna be excellent, and in any other safety class he might be a top 25 guy, but I just can't pound the table for a 5'9" db lol. Too obvious of a possible point of trouble
  21. What do you mean by make them happen?
  22. You copy and paste an NFL.com link and think you're providing analysis? NFL.com is a complete joke and everyone knows it. Make your own analysis based on film and relate it to how he improved the ravens, then you'll have some credibility. And not sure what flexjr is supposed to mean.. we just happen to agree on a lot of prospects. Me and grim have agreed on a lot of prospects over the years as well. People have their tastes
  23. No, you don't get it. You don't draft an undersized RB at 16 overall to play WR just because you think it's cool. Mcaffrey is not a 16 overall talent, I, along with basically everyone else, just don't agree with you on this. there are a lot of factors as to why mcaffrey would be a really dumb pick we have 2 young backs who played really well last year despite a horrible line, and we haven't addressed that line yet, which is more important. RB is still devalued despite the recent uptrend, you have to be a truly special talent and an absolute beast to be taken that high, zeke and gurley blow mcaffrey out the water, along with fournette and cook. hes an undersized rb that needs to be schemed, he's a piece, not a centerpiece we will be looking at the likes of Robinson, lamp, McDowell, reddick, Davis, t. Williams, possibly mike Williams, possibly foster, and in no way could we justify taking him over any of them you don't draft a rb midway through the first and put him at wr, you just don't.
  24. I always have faith in our DL though, they've never given me a reason not to. I always wanted either hooker or Adams because I was watching these guys long before we signed Jefferson and I looked at our safety tandem as being one man short of elite and a future need anyway with weddle being up there. More so than DL just because we always produce talent there
