  1. Stiff, kinda low effort, horrible engagement and disengagement. He's a straight line rusher and if the tackle doesn't have to overcommit to one side then he's basically rendered useless wouldn't take him til the second. He reminds me a lot of ZDS
  2. I think Boyle is being considered for juices old role, he fits the bill perfectly as a hard nosed road grader and good route runner who can catch. He may actually be an improvement. Allen would need a lot of coaching for that change, he wouldn't need to slim down much because it would take away from his powerful style, but it's an interesting concept, just a long shot. Wouldn't be against the experiment
  3. You're really pushing Willis eh? I'd be shocked and appalled if feeney fell to the third and have no reason to believe Cunningham falls that far either
  4. I would agree with that. But I don't see any LSU guys worth taking at 16, I'd make an argument for tredavious white but I wouldn't make that call.
  5. Taco, and cam as a OT would have me livid, if he's drafted to play G then I'm hype. If we took ross over Corey Davis or mike Williams I'd throw a fit, but Ross on his own isn't My favorite but I'd be excited about all the speed we'd have
  6. if he played at the same efficiency as he did last year on only half the snap count it would still be a league-wide great value signing. realistically though, were talking about a savvy and smart, older and often injured db who plays every spot in the secondary, who is very familiar with the defense... putting him in a moving depth role literally eliminates his biggest shortcomings while emphasizing his upsides. on a per snap basis he should end up rated pretty high.
  7. good point. create a time warp where guys are in rookie shape, playing at veteran level, on a rookie deal in year 20 of their career, giving us infinite cheap talent. im convinced bellichick has figured out this method before any other teams and thats why he always wins. to hide his secret he changes players identities every 2-3 years
  8. rookie contracts begin running out in 2021 and they will all leave via FA.
  9. well. sb2017,18,19, and 20?
  10. do you think the cowboys regret passing on mosley for martin? martin is a top 3 guard in the league. robinson and feeney are the only prospects ive seen that i believe can step into that same caliber, but robinson is absolutely without question a more powerful mauling style guard.
  11. ohhh no. this is seriously sad to hear, i cant imagine the pain hes gonna be feeling for the rest of his life over this. such a good guy too. prayers to the family, sorry for your loss mr heap.
  12. this is rod Woodsons old jersey. This close up kinda highlights the difference. The gold used to be more "gold" and regal looking, if you look at our New Jersey's you'll see they have more of a mustard color. I personally loved the old gold trim and the new mustard color I find pretty horrible
  13. No talks at all. And the unis were essentially the same. The gold trim was just lighter. There was a limited edition ravens jersey that was white with gold shoulders(fan only, never worn in game) and that shade of gold lets you see it more easily
  14. Great mock, just don't see williams being there
  15. Pound the table for guys here, so it's official. Unfortunately the forums are closing so there's no way to look back unless you migrate elsewhere... no pounding for Garrett or Allen or Adams or any completely duh prospects. pounding the table isn't necessarily demanding the ravens draft a guy, but making a firm stance that a player will be excellent. Im pounding the table for Derek Barnett tre'davious white Evan engram Tim williams Desmond king dan feeney TJ watt. I think we will look back on all of these guys and say they should have went earlier than they did. I counted one character concern and one injury concern but tried my best to avoid those. Nut up or shut up who are you officially pounding the table for?
  16. But at the same time cj Mosley was considered a huge injury risk and has been pretty much healthy for 3 seasons now, meanwhile perriman never had an injury and we all know the story there. As much as I love tj watt, his injuries scare me far more than a torn acl or Achilles. Those can be recovered from with no lingering effects, but nagging consistent soft tissue injuries year after year are the real issue. That is what I consider injury prone, guys who's bodies just don't show they are tough enough and are always falling victim to some minor little thing that just occurs without any kind of event. I think Lawson and Davis and jones are more victims of a circumstance rather than injury prone
  17. He would be a top ten pick if not for marshon lattimore I think. But pre injury I think Cleveland would take him at 12
  18. Also a consideration for jones. Some team may wanna be certain they get 4 years of play out of him before he tests he market, thus making some team take him in the late first. Waiting another round only guarantees 3 years out of his rookie deal and that's of course barring another injury.
  19. This would be an excellent draft but I'm going with the sentiment that jones doesn't fall that far. In terms of value pre-injury I don't think jones would be considered far behind Myles jack and jaylon smith, and with far scarier injuries they went top of the second. Jones should be back to playing in year 2 as if nothing ever happened, those guys may not see their second contracts. I highly doubt he falls like that, he may even go before our 2nd pick
  20. Seriously. This is a steal for what Webb represents. He is a major Swiss Army knife for us.
  21. I love the gold outline, but I liked it better back in the day when it was lighter and had a sheer to it, now it's a dull mustard color, if it was the old gold trim we had then those gold pants to match would've looked nice. I think our numbers definitely require an outline, these jerseys would look so odd without one. But I think those really uneven looking numbers like I mentioned above would look better without the shadow
  22. Good pick on my behalf @-Truth- thanks m8!
  23. If anyone wants to take over for this pick go ahead. I've prepared nothing and I'm too busy to look over the board ATM. Or just skip me
  24. That's why I said it's a matter of time lol. When they turn it around? Idk exactly, but I think trubisky, fournette, and hue would make a terrific trio, and having that line makes it all go. And Coleman may not be that guy right now but I have zero reason to believe he won't be eventually, he's a big play threat as of now but totally has the skillset to become a great route runner
  25. I wasn't trying to correct anyone, I just don't bother to differentiate one islander from another and throw them all into the Polynesian mix, there's so damn many different types of Polynesian lol
